again why you here just free food okay um anything else what what industry are you what industry are you in what industry I'm in KY what are you learning this man it's Ben man bro I know but I learned oh you learned Ben this crazy story crazy I'm say you're not you're not going to you're not going to believe this I put lights on the side of hallways that's what I do I put lights on the side of hallways and people trip on them and I noticed that people trip on them so when when these people come down hallways and they trip on lights I sometimes I talk to them and I say why weren't you looking where you're going and this guy tells me you know why cuz I'm constantly thinking about business and I'm constantly thinking about construction and there's this show oh you made it case some points there's this show it's called the bow the bow show the bow Expo show and he tells me about this and I said you know what I might go and maybe it'll teach me a thing or two about you know putting lights on the side of the hallways so people won't trip but that is that that is essentially what I do for a business I put lights on the side of hallways and now I know not to put them on the side of the hallways now I'll put them I guess up I gu higher but that that's the crazy story that I had M uhhm basically I'm here to promote C Lander thank you C Lander Lumber um they're an amazing company and that's just the crazy story that I have my name is zitz and we run bolt seal installation we do spray foam installation we do fiberglass installation fire stopping everything related to installation basically now one of the questions he asked before is if shows work we had actually by last ojba so I'm not sure if I'm say it over here say whatever you want we had somebody walked up us actually and uh long story short he handed us a 50,000 ft office building to insulate we knocked it out was a pretty very good job saying that was just from a show met from a show we met by show we followed up my name is global cleaning services we're a cleaning company we do Post construction tenant cleaning um Mid Construction we do office cleaning anything do with cleaning you need us give us a call we got you covered what if I need you like arant in my house in your house if the kids are out we got you covered but as long as they still making a mess don't call us yet I love it what would you tell someone starting off in the industry what would you tell them work hard do your establ and hm's going to do the rest I work for Crown Paving we do Paving driveways basketball courts parking lots how did you get the crown Grand Paving uhem sent me there and what would you tell somebody else looking to go into this industry a very rewarding industry it's hard work you get up early you work late but there's nothing like it you like driving big trucks and having fun while working hard it's the industry for you my name is trly globber we're run company trly G we do uh design documentation of spec books we work primarily with designers contractors to provide the documentation Services we take the design we take the concept we take whatever you need um in terms of uh whatever you want to built and we put it on paper so we document it we do the planning we do um elevations details section Cuts whatever you need so the contract could actually do so is that like a AR architect design type of idea um it is the same idea the same concept just like a contract like an architect would uh generally give you a plan it would give you a set of blueprint same thing is applies to Des design so the bigger the project the more complex it gets and the more you want to have it written down the more the more actually let's put it the other way the more you have written down the less is going to go wrong on the project hi my name is Mishi Klein I work with best Mechanical plumbing we do plumbing in New York New Jersey and something really interesting about coming to this conference which by the way I don't know what b stands for nobody does um b b see even better we didn't even know what it was we didn't even know I I like people are here there's hundreds of people we don't know uh what it stands for but what was so interesting to me is that I met one of my close friends who I've known for many years and I'm like what do you doing at a construction conference I know him as a musician and he's a really talented musician what's his name his name is hershy Klein and uh he's here at this uh uh uh at this event and he has a fund a real estate fund where he does deals out of state um and now that I know this information I can help him out and find you know people who need to find him and what's so interesting is that had I not met him here today I didn't had no idea that he does this you know and I've known this man for many years I want to say half a decade or more and so that's what's so interesting to me about coming out is that sometimes you need to see somebody in other perspective in other context in order to see another part of their personality you didn't even know that right kind amazing I love it and that's the idea is it's networking it's keep meeting people you know or don't know and moving moving on to bigger and better places yeah by the way I want to just throw out there I find for people who are coming to such events for the first time it's so daunting like what do I do here and how do I create value and I don't have any of the answers but one thing I saw that really works for me is that if I come here with the perspective of I'm not trying to accomplish anything for myself I'm just trying to see what are other people doing and and what can I do to help them and usually if I find somebody I'll be like hey you're trying to meet Builders oh you're trying to find people who install kitchens whatever they're looking for I try to help them and inevitably they end up helping me to and ways that I don't know you know they figure out ways how they can help me so I think that's a pretty good attitude to bring to these kind of events hi my name is Sam D I'm here at the bo show in Bells workor it's a beautiful show it's a great day meeting lots of people from different various companies that do construction really cool things management and what we do what I do what my company does we do marketing we bring influencers we do video we manage Instagram accounts and we're trying to meet some people and the main thing is to dve in every day that Hashem should help you and you should have Pasa and have when you talk to people and you can connect with them and to make panasa to make money when you come to a show follow up follow up follow up you get a business card you met someone follow up with him just cuz he didn't respond to you the next day send him another email give him another call don't be a n Nick but just keep following up and you'll see eventually you might be able to make that sale hi my name is from mon New York oil I'm in this business since 2000 I was the first guy in Upstate New York doing garbage business before I went into this business I went toan he was still roof I asked him if I should go into this business or not so he asked me if you could be you can handle in this business you can still alive you have to it goes everything on the weight so if you could make money it's a good business but if not don't touch it and so since then uh keep on growing every year and we stick to it we try to be W okay thank you this is actually Trump's Podium from that event and deal back in July this company set it up and it's at the show in bellworks we're here live at the bo event at the Trump Podium that was actually used by Trump in the old New Jersey tell us what we're doing here what's BO people think it's like an initial both is like a yish bow bow build oh cool I was actually I wanted to know what it stands for all right so that's that and uh we here very successful people are happy good food good vibes and good business people we see a lot of transactions happening between the vendors and the contractors and the developers and uh yeah here we are amazing and Joel tell us how this show is different than other shows that you guys produce and how did you get into this event space this this show actually was a particular challenge Mac right because we this this is a a category where you have multiple um conferences trade shows actually and they're all very large Las Vegas Chicago Atlantic City Manhattan even in New Jersey there's even a there's a there's a fir show a very large construction show thousands of people to us we want to bring to this industry something that we bring um something that we bring to uh all of our other conferences which is to give people a good experience um and which allows them to do more business and also give them the exclusivity that's lacking we went to a big Manhattan show with 15,000 people it was a free show half of the people there were students so you're not selling roofs to students or or someone that wants to renovate their basement someone told me actually it was there the person comes over I want to renovate my basement that's not what we're doing here so um exclusivity and giving them a great EXP experence really is revolutionizing the the our construction show right so just to recap the idea is you're networking with people who are actually involved in the industries and working together you know meeting new people or even seeing similar faces and getting involved and helping each other amazing thank you so much guys and keep it up keep up the great job keep up the events and people love it people come for the vibe and the food way I think we should rename our company to Tas events cuz multif family um since 2015 recently many people know me as Coit um one very important note I want to put out for people that are asking do I there there are many shows and we've met by by other shows it is important even though you're not you're not sure who you're going to meet should I Sho it's important to be there from every show Even if you meet one potential uh whether it's a potential client someone that you can network with that you or you may help him he may help you in business it pays that day of investment that you that you're out there to to network it pays off I've been by shows in the past uh people that provide services or potential leads clients you help one another it's all about helping one another one potential lead it's a very very important not always do you think you'll have something that'll come out from it before you head over make an effort spend the day there it may be now it may be in a half a year in two years it's a great investment and uh and have some projects in Texas Miami we had to go all over the place and um where where do you see this this industry going in the next 5 10 years with technology and Ai and all these different things you see that helping your business it's it's helping in a way because it's creating um interesting products but um it's making it challenging it takes away from Innovation it takes away from from from the personalization right it's very it's hard to personalize when everything is AI and everything is it's on on the computer and and digital and it's very hard to actually see we have the showroom we have the pieces in- house on the floor feel it touch it smell it look at it see the colors and uh you're good to go and grab a bath bomb grab a bath bomb on your way out what's up the food is very is John Richards I work with grass lawn Landscape Maintenance and landscape construction I work in the construction end of the business and Business Development so we are a full service landscape company uh we do everything installs from hardscaping to plant installs retaining walls irrigation uh we work up and down the East Coast predominantly uh in the New Jersey area but have a strong presence all throughout the Northeast and down in uh Florida as well so we're a growing company uh we're headquartered in Lakewood New Jersey we're working on a uh a property up in pacian uh where uh we are uh putting in a retaining wall uh where um originally the the property did not want to use us for it they did some work themselves it fell down now we had to go in and fix everything so now we come into the rescue saying you come and save the day we come and save today Amazing Grass Mar IQ is an intelligent water detection system we FOC on commercial buildings where we can detect prevent and uh leaks as well as shut off water remotely from anywhere in the world we could also do water management so we know how much water is being used um the water consumption the water pressure and we could really monitor and do subring per each unit so we have the we have these leak sensors which are placed throughout a property we put this in a building in delr Florida we put it down behind the in the women's bathroom and a Friday afternoon the pipe bursted behind the behind the bathroom everyone was already left for the for the whole weekend and if they didn't have this when they come back Monday morning the whole building would have been flooded as well as $2 million worth of inventory gone wow our leak sensor detected a leak sent sent an instant notification via text message to the property manager property manager saw a leak leak detected women's bathroom and then what we do if you move in close here this this is um our valves so our valves connect all the water flow so this is just a uh um flashight flashlight pretending to go through and this just mean that the water is Flowing on so from from our app right here you hit a button and if you watch the flashlight within 12 seconds the water will shut off inside the pipe there you go leak averted and so what happened was is that they saved $200,000 wow just from from from One sensor that we have additionally what's really cool is that you ever have a toilet that's flowing and wasting water in your house your kids leaving on you're paying all the water bill so we have a toilet flow sensor this sensor every time you flush it registers it also tells you how many gallons are used and if it's flowing continuously it will send you a notification so we do detection prevention and as well as wastage as well and we use an AI software that we built from scratch that can predict whether or not leak is going to happen based upon the pressure that's inside the pipes amazing where are you guys based at so we were started in Miami Florida from a water restoration company we started building there shimmy lives lives here in New Jersey shimmy said you got to come up for this event there's nothing like it and so I flew up I met shimmy here we we we speak every day on the phone and we but we can service anywhere in the country my name is Shy Rosenfeld and um I I'm here to represent the 55 build we what we do is we do a commercial construction and I find them jobs and um yeah that's what we do so you want to tell like a young guy starting out 13-year-old Lakewood kid like what would you tell him if he wants to go into this industry what would you tell him um just don't give up don't give up anci CL I was living in Miami this year and I don't have a I don't have a car I'm carless whatever they call me carless whatever so I I offered on to Etc Florida if anyone's coming to Miami I like I'm a big Mogul I like to do big Cad and I offered a free parking spot for whoever needs a spot did people take you I'll tell you a great story so actually was based on says that serving is a greater and deeper connection and more specifically highest M higher than I don't know what that means exactly but here's a story from BL you ready so unfortunately my mother had a stroke she came from she had a stroke we're in the emergency room and they said say goodbye you have 10 minutes say goodbye so I came in my mother's unconscious no one should ever know from such things usually very healthy family you never had such a thing before and they tell me say goodbye I don't know what to do so I'm thinking my R I'm thinking my R I think he likes to sing so I took out a my phone and put on a song M that my mother liked start singing the doctor start singing my father start singing everyone start singing the whole oil turned around and the end of the story was is that they in the morning already as time went on in this emergency room and everything with sugar all of a sudden the tables turned they couldn't explain it the doctor was crying end of the day they went they did a surgery saved the life so I told my father that they're willing to put the thank were willing to put out the song for excuse me for for my mother which was a huge thing that there was my brother he spoke to the kids I want to do it so I called my father I said you know why they put out the song Because Accord to if you m make a song that's a happy song when mhia comes you have a chance to actually sing it because all the songs so when I call my father tell him the behind the song his hand was on refrigerator there was a magnet in the room and all there tells the story so had chills M this happened in two three days after the event see someone a challenge the m is still there with him wow and just quickly segue into theas what's what you guys do Jason Green likes to save money foren it's not our uh main goal main goal is to do business we make money they make money that's you got to be able to be straight set the right expectation where you do everything in the house it's pretty cool so we install engineering we're Master electricians we also do spray foam in house we also do electric Chargers in house so if someone has a property that we desire we'll invest the money for the fast charg we're not doing the low voltage high voltage is the high the bottleneck in this industry right now is the interconnection to be able to get the energy to the spot to know how to plan the energy that's our expertise doing for 15 years wow so we've been stallers of the year last year nationally for solar re+ that's a government agency that picks every year 10 stallers I didn't know they do that they picked us we have a we have a BPI goldar contractors which means that we are partner with New York State we're doing this close to 15 years we've probably finished over 3,000 uh projects I would say since successfully and we want your project next if you want to get a real deal we're not going to sell you push you extra we're going to tell you what it is and we're not just selling it we actually install it so that's a big deal and we teach our customers how to how to keep us accountable so whatever you see on a proposal the numbers we show you later to how the numbers worked out we basically show you everything so you can basically follow see the project worked out as planned we take the original Proposal with the numbers we show you we show you how it worked that amazing pretty cool yeah what's the sitter about ah it's very hard to go anywhere without your basic tools so let's let's think about this way close to 6,000 years ago so I not only me my Rob other people that that question is a question for every year every single day where are you who put you on the planet today that means this world is not good enough without you so why did he put you there where's the micro success I can't help you with all your problems and why it's not fair and why life needs to be better for you that I can help you but a little bit of a little bit of a Target micro successes and on that no will segment back into the solar so this is something I like to say to people because I saw from gave Ray of Sun every Ray has its Target the M all it takes for us to put something down to be a CLE to be ma this Ray it's about $100,000 for any average house over 25 years to not so bad for the average you it actually works again it's like any cont someone promises doesn't do it you got a guy who knows what he's doing he sets the right expectations have it same thing over here look at this gives the light the light could create money all you need is have the vessel right how much hers showering you right this minute how many parts of your body are working what's going well in your life I don't want to hear about what's not going well in your life we're get in this culture of victims uh what's go what's going right in your life that's it you have a wife you have kids you have amazing beautiful unbelievable clients but you do need a lot of patience you need um um um detail oriented and just be there for your people be there for them at the end of the day people work hard to make money and they want to spend the money wisely painting from the things that they're for sure going to always do and you want to make sure that they're happy that was such good content
