I have Judah. It's Gavalik to see you.
You always have a smile. I met you like
twice or three times. You always have a
smile when I see you. Okay. I don't
know. You have to ask the people who are
really That's why I don't I don't hang
around in too many places too long cuz
you're saying you move on to the next
spot. So we're at Camp Ask. It's like
the highlight of the year in America.
It's like mom's the show of the year.
What what what can we be expecting
something that we're looking at
professionalism and we're looking also
at Hikite together. There's for
everything in the world there's a cle
there's a vessel the outside of it and
then there's ore the light inside.
people focus on the the the production
and the musicians and the the lights and
the screens and the stage and there's a
lot of that which is extraordinary but
you need to have an or that matches a
cle that's worthy of the ore and the or
is the the power of Jewish people
getting together around an important
cause for Israel opening their hearts
opening their wallets ding together
singing together you know being open to
to enjoying in a holy way. That's a time
for music. Incredible. So, if you could
say in in in Russian kindness.
Yeah. The outer light and everything.
Yeah. That it's if this is one big
mushel, I believe. Imagine what the
basis is going to be. The the laser show
and the lights and the all the details
of a Mishkan, all the proim of safikra,
right? Like a production like this takes
months and and in and teams. You see
many people are working here. It's wild.
Like what's going on? Poor music.
building a Mishka has so many details.
Putting together a production like this,
there's so many details ultimately the
goal is and I I I believe that uh with
some good friends and some pursuing
Nissa hit our goal of getting the ball
over the goal line for Gula. Amazing. So
happy here. Thank you. Thank you. Enjoy.
I'm told I'm with the boys from Tas
Daily. How do you like that? That's
amazing. So, how many hassles have you
been? Let's talk Daily. Yes. Let's do
it. How many husks have you been to?
Um, probably 35, 36. That's incredible.
I think I think I've MC or had a role in
MCing 35 of them, I think. What's the
feeling tonight? Yeah.
I think it's a heavy day for uh the
Jewish people, frankly. And I think that
the weather reflects it. And uh I think
people have gotten into the frame of
mind where where our hearts, especially
tonight with so many guests from Israel,
our hearts are in Israel, but we're
going to enjoy this evening. I don't
think there's anything wrong with that.
So, there's a lot of love for H, a lot
of love for the Jewish people in the
room. And uh I hope that the show
reflects that. Incredible. Could you
give us one specific thing that like
when when you think H, you think of that
person or that place in time? When I
think H and Rabbi Stern's going to
remember this, I spent Shabas at H and I
asked where this kid was, this counselor
that uh was from my neighborhood. I
didn't see him the entire Shabas and
they said he was sitting with his camper
who was quarantined the entire Shabas.
Wow. I said, "Wow." If that doesn't tell
you exactly, by the way, that is Hask.
And they do it gladly and they do it
with tremendous love and they do it with
conviction and they do it knowing that
they would do it again a million times.
It's really uh a tremendous level of
facet. Incredible. I want to leave off
one thing to us youngsters.
You can't have H without Wow. It's just
part of Make sure to mention that to the
crew back here. Seagull equals H. Thank
you very much. I appreciate it. Let's
talk clas fellas.
So before we even start, you're a
legend. And you're a legend on this
stage. Thank you so much. It's always
nice to hear but uh I'm just trying to
do my job. How many? Hit the right
notes. How many asks have you been to?
Uh numerous ask. I don't really know the
exact number but in the beginning many
years in the beginning I was there that
it was a long time of traveling and
stuff I wasn't here but I'm glad to be
back. Incredible. And is this true that
Gala is your nephew? Yes. Garovski, the
legend. Incredible. Yes. Okay. We're
looking forward to the show. Thank you.
And just keep up what you do. Yes,
absolutely. Thank you so much for
talking to us. Yes. The tas daily is
gileus. You know, how many times have
you been at H? Um, I think it's my
second time being at H. And what's the
feeling? What does H mean to you?
Um, it's an opportunity to get out of
your little like sphere of influence and
how you do things and enter a world of,
you know, a bigger vision. uh you know a
stickle fancier vision and and a
division where so many yen can come
together and connect and uh and all for
the sake of of of fundraising for for H
that does beautiful beautiful work. Um
so I've been at H the camp many times
but the H concert twice I think it's the
second time. So yeah, when I come to
ask, I just think of like the Mishbah
coming together with the artists that
people feel like, you know, it's like a
household name, you know, people and I'm
humbled that we became such a thing that
people, you know, that like we're one of
those names at me and
but it's special to be here amongst
people who are even if we're not. Yeah.
Incredible. And I'm assuming that
growing up H was like a thing in your
house. Maybe it wasn't, but I think it
was. Um, we're out of towners, so I
don't know if They had the silver. That
was exactly as big of a deal. Okay. But
in general, I think I think the tapes
probably the tapes went on, right?
There's tapes from
Master probably. Yeah. Isn't it like
wild for you? Like Joar, MBD, you know,
AB daddy and now like you're on that
stage. Isn't that incredible? Yeah. I
just I guess I think of it maybe a
little different than most people. Like
to me, my my family wasn't as like,
you know, in the know of all the cool
things happening in Jewish Worlds cuz
we're, you know, Silver Spring, not New
York. But I love that. But for me, it's
just uh I just think of it almost a
little bit as an outsider. Like it's
just you're coming in. Yeah. To be a
part of something which has a story,
which has uh which has a history, which
has, you know, a a record, a record,
like a longstanding. I think of it as
almost like the Grammys of like the Jew
of the I literally was going to say
so
finally the
amazing how you doing amazing okay thank
you so much so what's the tas what's the
t of to you the t of to me is that
people are coming and donating to this
amazing organization and they're getting
like you're saying the Grammys of Jewish
music this is like this is the show of
the year in America At least other
places have other channels, but like H
is like the OG, you know? Yeah. So, uh
you're mixing the Pius, the Katinus. I'm
getting an incredible. We were speaking
to Rab Judah before the R. You're
looking for the R the R the R the light
or the or the or like not the lights and
the the realities.
And the light comes from gathering 3,000
yen together is like a big deal, you
know, 100%.
[Music]
So you
Yes.
[Music]
So you're coming from where do you say?
Coming from Lakewood. From Lake I made a
song on Lakewood. I make songs. The
rabbi is saying for the Oh, you know
didn't ask if I can do it in English.
You see on the video, I know who took it
down. I came myself. I didn't take it
down. But you see on I asked the Rashiva
if I can translate it in English. He was
sitting there says, "Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Good, good, good."
Uhhuh. Uhhuh. Lakewood is one. One
lakewood. Lakewood is two. Shalom.
Peace. Ah, he knew it better than I
forgot.
Shalom. Lakewood is dry. Lakewood is
three. Hashem
is one. Lakewood is two. Lakewood is
three.
I made hundreds of songs incredible
from I made songs and this week I made
that new
[Music]
song. So I saw if you if you
bless you will be blessed. If you
bless you will be blessed. If you bless
a Joe, you will be blessed. If you bless
a Jew, you will be blessed. I'm a
bench. I'm a
Bench. I'm a
What brings the rabbit to ask?
I don't know if that's a question.
Eden
fin such a weather I was in Lakewood but
this I went to stopped the barber and
then I said it started snowing I said to
go to ask
maybe I'll get on the stage and give it
I'm telling you the secret. What
I'm holding myself in
is I tell some people I make a song and
they want to they adding this and don't
take nothing. Don't add how dive was how
people want to know also for questions.
They ask me where did you make
this? People ask me questions. Remember
where do you make your songs? Where do
you make it? By the water, by the tree,
wherever it comes in. Yeah. Whatever it
is. Someone told me I should So I
explained them how I make my songs. He
said, "So you should give out a CD that
this song you made by Schwarz
appetizing. That one I made by the
palace.
by the palisades. Exit five. By the
palisades says make around 16
dam but whatever I made hundreds of
songs. Wow.
Yeah.
Pray every day to have a good
day. Pray every day to have a good
day. Pray every day to have a good day.
I pray every day to have a good day. I
pray every day to have a good day. I
pray every day to have a good day.
May the
king
[Applause]
may
kill my
First of all, the man standing next to
me was extremely close with
Marineski. That's the number one I
think. Number two is maybe my father.
Okay, fine. So fine. Number one is was
daddy's son. His daddy's son. Daddy was
a legend at the house
show. And most recently what you're
famous for is after massacre you're
doing incredible amount
of on
steroids next level of iPads this that
smiles hugs everything what brings you
to ask and what what does it mean to you
to your family what so I think the music
what's the feeling so I think the music
and I'm seeing this in the last 471 days
I think that the music that we are
singing And especially when it comes
from our heart, it gives us a lot
of most of the family that I'm visiting
or I visit even in soldiers and
hospitals and widows and orphans and a
lot of funerals. We had so many singers
and people the music brought besides the
tears it brought people's heart to just
being closer and of course my father
that his song Well, there's no there's
no one day that we're not singing it or
hearing. Even now in backstage with
Yonathan, Razel and Shui were we were
singing Aenu. So I think that Bmet it's
coming from a deep deep heart and we are
here because it's a an amazing place and
h are teaching all of us what is and how
to do and yes my father loved this place
and he came here year after year and the
memories and me as a kid growing up with
knowing what's and the songs and
everything is something very special and
we don't want to forget it. So I feel
very
part of very special to be here. I
wasn't supposed to be here. I was on the
way somewhere else. Brother Zakuru that
runs the world and brought us here. So
one last thing, one last thing before I
let you run in is that a lot of people
knew your father as like like a happy
sakan kind of guy comes on stage Hashem,
right? You also
had he had that deep
it was it was there the deepest of the
deep big
big everything you do and all the
hostages should come home. Amen.
I think that their tears of all the
widows bringing them
[Music]
home. Heat. Heat.
[Music]
You freaking rocked it on there. Okay.
One even without the jacket. It was keep
it off. It was amazing. I did keep it
off. Amazing. Okay. You said has started
in your house. Yeah. 38 years ago. Yeah.
What happened? Well, Shia Mendelitz came
and Mosh Khan, they wanted to do
something to raise money. She Mandowitz
was in my house and he came to my father
who was a very influential. My father
was never in the music business for the
m business music business. He was a
businessman and he did music uh for the
love of music. So there was never um he
was very charitable about his music. So
everybody felt comfortable with my
father and they came Shia came to my
father was one of his best friends and
said can we can we do what do you think
of this idea? And they it was born in my
den and I saw it happen as a little
little little baby. MB free. Everybody
everybody came everybody came through
all came through my house. All all
friends everybody even even Faded as a
friend. Even Faditzki right there.
Faditzki. That's what I call him. Tell
me one crazy memory. You You've done a
lot of shows, right? You did it with
Left to Horn. You did it solo. Give me a
crazy memory. Something that like Wow.
blew you away. I know I'm putting you on
the spot, but it's okay. You performed
already.
Um, Schlam Kalbak. Incredible. It was
crazy just to see Schlam Kalbak there.
Um, Barcelona, Barcelona. Jo was on.
Blew my head off. Um, to see I'm
interrupting. How does it feel? You
watch them and now you're you're there.
I don't I don't really feel I don't I
don't really like
I don't think about it's just it's
music. I'm doing what I do. It's very
Yeah. I'm not I'm not thinking about
Baz. I'm just here. I'm doing what I'm
doing. I love what I'm doing and that's
it. And like very excited about that.
And I want to make more music. That's
it. I just want to do more music. I want
to do more music. I want to be with
artists that I love and and talk about
music and engage in the there are
certain artists that that that are on
this wavelength and certain artists that
are not. Certain artists are on a
wavelength of discussing life and
getting into the depths of it. And
certain artists are not are not into
that. They just want to be alone. And
you know, different types of people.
Well, either way, Zusha killing it up
there.
[Applause]
It's breaking the screen.
Amazing.
So good. I'm so
happy.
[Music]
Heat.
[Music]
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
[Music]
Heat.
[Music]
Heat. Heat.
[Music]
Heat. Heat. Heat.
[Music]
Haskche.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Very
[Music]
nice. Wow.
Mechan won
[Music]
Amen. I'm on my way out.
[Music]
How are you? Let's talk about him. Let's
talk about him. Backstage at H. What
does Hask mean to you? It's beautiful.
It means that it's the happiest place on
earth. Literally. Literally. It's the
It's the
[Music]
leadership Judah. It's the staff that
have their heart and soul in the kids.
It means that it's the happiest place on
earth because it's made by the people
the happiest place on earth. It's all
you make of it and they make amazing
amazing things. Have you been to the
camp? I have. Every year. Wow. Every
year with I go every year with a visor
with from Khan. It's the happiest place
on earth. I never miss it.
Amazing to see. Always. You always have
a smile. Thank you.
How many times have you been to ask?
This is my second time. What's the
feeling?
The feeling is wild. It's a big It's a
very big production. Most of the things
we're doing is just like it's our show
and it's our event and this is an event
with so many people involved. It feels
like an ammy event, you know? It's like
wow. This guy's singing for 5 minutes,
we're singing for 5 minutes. So much
goes into 5 minutes of of
of production. Incredible. Where did you
grow up? Tene, New Jersey. Was ask a
thing for you as a child, as a kid
growing up? No, not really. Not really.
And now you're on the stage? Yes. Wild.
I mean, to be honest, I think for me,
it's a it's an empowering thing to be
here
because the Yidden are so colorful and
they're so different from one to the
next. It's part of what makes the Yidden
so special is that we're so diverse and
so connected at the same time. It's one
thing we have billion people. This guy's
different than the next guy, obviously.
We have like a small it's like the
Jewish community is not a 02% of the
world and we are all different and we
can tolerate each other. So to me my
white sneakers is like you know they let
someone like me with white sneakers on
stage. I love it. Times are changing.
Incredible. Now just one more point.
When I first heard of you guys, it was
more like our brain soulful style. And
then now we're like segueing into more
like like DJ vibes and like like EDM
dance music. Are you guys doing both?
You're switching and changing. You're I
think the Fabanga never stops. I love
it. It's a continuation of the fabang.
And for us, like was saying before,
Hashem has no one particular image. And
for us to get stuck into one thing, it's
not it's not kadusha. Some people get
they think because they put the last
five albums out in one style, the sixth
album because everyone's expecting it
should sound like something. But I think
for us, what's what's exciting for me in
Schlommo is that we're constantly
pushing each other to do something that
nobody's expecting. Not I'm expecting,
not he's expecting. And so that Mashiah
to me it's Mashiah energy. It's like
Mashia is the energy that no one is
expecting, but everyone's waiting for
it. Incredible. So thank you so much.
Iraq
and the Msiah
energy to unmay.
[Music]
Good.
[Music]
Heat. Heat.
[Music]
Heat.
Yeah.
[Applause]
Heat.
Yeah. Heat.
[Applause]
You sang here last year. Yes. Yes.
Killed it last year. Oh, thank you. What
do you What brings you to ask this year?
Good question. First of all, this is the
biggest event of the year. So, who
doesn't want to be here? 100%. Yeah. So,
definitely I'm good friends
with a talk to him. We Yes. Mazu
Mazi and uh you know, it's part of the
team. We work together a lot. here to
support and make sure the guys that are
doing the interviews are doing a good
job. Okay. Is K doing a good job so far?
So far so good. There you go.
Incredible. Awesome. There you go. First
of all, this is your first time at No,
actually it was here 10 years ago. But
like minor kind of one song kind of
thing, but yes, this is my debut. You
played, you sang, and you conducted,
right? You do that. That's what you do
for a living almost. Yeah. You conduct
more than you sing. I just did a whole
kisaria show with the filman, you know,
with the that's what I do with um
Israeli uh Jerusalem symphony orchestra.
I compose and conduct. That's what
that's what I was trained as a musician.
Wow. And later on I became a singer.
Wow. I I first finished his degree in
conducting composing and then I you know
then I went into singing later when I
was like 30. First I was like a What's
it like to be on half?
First of all the energy was amazing.
people were like so with it listening
even though they're like 2 and a half
hours I came out at this beginning I was
like oh no this is too late but they
were almost they're great they're great
the the youth in America are thinking
constantly about the other especially
today I feel it
we're one we're one body you know what
can we say what can we say you know
it's look you know it's an it's a big
today but we're all in such pain you
know so many deaths so many soldiers you
know in Israel it's so so difficult you
know people are full of hope you know
it's amazing to see there's still growth
there's still children there's still
music everything's going on but there so
much pain you know but you know we know
that America's with us that America the
Jewish America's jewelry it's a powerful
thing for us we know that they're
backing us up financially domining the
heart and it's amazing
thing keep up everything you
do is a good friend of mine yeah he's
good he's good he's is such a good guy.
He's such a such good such a priest, you
know. Kara such a prince.
Oh, man. I'm a
lady. Amazing. Thank
you. Heat. Heat. Heat.
[Music]
Yeah.
[Music]
Yes. Yes. The
God is
the God.
We're backstage. I ask this must be
maybe 12, 13th, 14th. We lost track. How
many times? Yes. Nothing. How many
hands? Nothing. How many hands? What?
How many hats are we doing? Daddy, I've
done like 34 35. I think you've done.
So, we lost track of how many Hasks
you've been to, but Lisa, what's the
feeling of being at Camp Hask? It's
unbelievable. We went to camp, Amy and
I, my son Ellie, and to see the
dedication first of all of the
Hanola and the the counselors, how they
take care of the kids. They don't only
spend time with them in the summer. They
go to the rest of the year. They look
they follow up with them. They they work
with them and they they they're
unbelievable. And the camp H there's
nothing like it in the whole world. Wow.
You think Shia Mandalas has got enough
right now? Oh, you know H started in my
death. She uh saw a
[Music]
lamb. Unbelievable. What a vision.
Incredible.
I remember I remember singing on two.
Wow. together with just a son of
like Joe London school is also there
incredible. We did Vegas then was
just keep
going with your voice. You do
that. Thank you. Thank you. Thank
you. You know sang a song on Jeff. We
talk about thank you Hashem. The song I
sang was Yona Winer wrote the song and
he asked Olivine and I to sing it on
Jeff. The song was the master artist.
Wow. For he's the master artist. We are
just brushes in his hand. Beautiful
song. The master artist. And that's what
it's all about. It's the master artist
and we are just brushes in his hand. And
in the background we're
hearing that's what it's about. Too late
to me though. Can't get a better swim
than that. Pesock's coming up. He's
young.
Should
be
Heat. Heat.
[Music]
is your
[Music]
Yeah. Heat.
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
You started out in Minneapolis, Iowa by
the Ro in LA wolf. It was the whole
history. How many times are you asked?
Um, this might be my seventh time, maybe
my eighth time. More more than that.
Nine times. What's the feeling? 38.
What's the feeling?
ask is very beautiful. It's the OG. It's
the OG. It's the Emmys. Yeah. It's the
Grammys. I called it last time I was
here. I said this is the Super Bowl of
Jewish music.
And the H make a lot of money. What's
that song that you were singing some
Israeli song that that's famous? I heard
you sing it.
Yeah. Sounds very similar
to a different It's a different you.
It's like your It's your style. It's
your vibe.
Simra is my
[Music]
vibe.
Yeah.
[Music]

Heat. Heat.
[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]
Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.
[Music]
Okay, we're backstage at
NJ. I really don't know. It's got to be
more than 20. I really don't
know. What does mean to you?
Well, ask is the C. I have a very
special car to the camp because I had
steer very challenged special needs here
and I gave her wonderful summers
and so I feel very indebted to H and I
can be pay back a little bit. I am
honored. Keep
on you too. Come back. Let's go. Come
[Music]
back. Shining.
[Music]

[Music]

[Music]
can't see.
[Music]
I'm waiting for that song from Mashiach
to come out on the half stage, but it's
been so many years. We're in Gul. Yes,
we're singing. We're happy, but we want
that ultimate happiness. But it was a
great feeling tonight to see everybody
united, everybody singing to me when I
just came out to the United song. It
really galvanized the crowd, I believe.
And it was just uh something special.
Incredible. Incredible to see all
singing. That's what it is. Would you
say that H show is like like the top in
America? Like more than Casaria, more
than Nokia, maybe even more than show.
It's different. I can't say it's
more. It's a different vibe. a whole
different to have you know 16 17
performers sometimes it's like you're on
off on off it's a different vibe but
it's something that I believe is a
uniter you know to see so many
performers and to me it's it's a
different feeling seeing everybody
together you know a lot last night in
Bokeh singing I'm singing for hours
myself I I enjoy that too but okay Rabbi
you did smoke a little bit whatever did
Rabbi Goldberg but the point is
point is became you know all the
performers
Yeah. So that's that's a different vibe,
but it's beautiful. It's beautiful.
It's keep it real always.
[Music]
We're ready cuz we know we're fighting
for sh
[Music]

Yeah, you can arrest me.
