Statement from Twp Committee Winner Mike D'Elia

good morning I'm Mike deia the candidate that you over overwhelmingly elected yesterday and I want to thank you very much it was a big surprise to me to have that uh win um I'm hoping that I can uh please you in the next three years I be working as I said as a team member with the rest of the committee I'll be listening to all the peoples of Lakewood uh I think that that's important we have to do and see if we can seek out people who have good ideas to uh help in the different situations that we're confronted with in town I think that if we work together we certainly can come up with some uh solutions to our problems I also want to reach out to all those that did not vote for me and that's fine that's our system and we are blessed that we can do that and speak up and say what we want I'm telling you this I represent all the people whether you voted for me or whether you don't I be with you if you can call me you can text me you can do anything email me I will be working with all the people to see that we can accomplish some things that we're worried about and that we can build up the town I want to build up a town that's united we had a little problems with the election I think we can come back together and and I'll be working on that again I thank you very much for uh getting out there and uh voting and uh I hope I don't let you down I'll be working hard to help wherever I can thank you
