for a day which means the Sun will rise in the morning at 24 hours later it'll rise again as we all know it's not exactly 24 hours later but on average if you take an average over the course of the year sometimes it summarizes 1 24 hours later something less but if over the course of the year the day time takes the sunrise to come is 24 hours if you break that down into different parts to see in a day you have 86,400 seconds 60 seconds 10 minutes 15 minutes on etc however the Earth has the rotation of the earth has irregularities in the rotation therefore that you know number of years back as science became more of technology gruel and and you know these these executives became were more known to scientists they realize it that this this average little made a little bit off so they redefine a second based on um it's known you've heard the term atomic clock the time of clocks what is it type of clock what does that mean what is atomic about o'clock so the answer is it's precise and it's based on certain cycles and frequencies of cesium atom and radiation that's released it's a certain number given nine billion hundred ninety two million 630 1770 so so you take that number that's a certain number of a number of of the frequency of this annum and when that when that happens that many times that's a second I see okay so that's the scientific stuff which is beyond my we exist somehow we have a problem so what happened in 1977 that they decided that we gotta add a few seconds the answer is and why don't they had 20 seconds or anything they didn't they didn't it didn't matter so to speak and ultimately really the scope of it over thousands of years doesn't really make a difference now what happens is because because of so many so much technology every second right as such a you know when you're dealing on the scope of of you know satellites which work you know literally to the nanosecond everything has to be has to be sink streaming it's sick but I put up
