The Rebbe’s surprise Sukkos gathering exclusively for public school children in 5737-1976 Watch the full video at https://go.jem.tv/RT On Sukkos of 1976 (5737), the Rebbe held a special gathering in the Sukkah at 770 for the children of the Released Time program. Released Time, or Wednesday hour, was an initiative spearheaded by the NCFJE under the direction of the Rebbe's father-in-law and predecessor, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson. This one-of-a-kind Sukkos gathering was attended by some two hundred Jewish boys and girls, along with their instructors, and is etched in the memories of all who were present.
