there are plenty of children who are in deep existential pain and because they didn't yet abandon yish kite we're not acknowledging that there's an issue so don't just think that when a kid falls apart that's when all of a sudden we need to pay attention we need sensitivity we need compassion we need empathy just understand that there's a lot more going on inside of a person than what you see out outside of them and especially if it's your child that's your job I'm sorry to say it mothers and fathers that's your job to know your child better than a stranger knows them and if your child has needs to sort of let their guard down and be who they really are in ways that are socially unacceptable and they need to do that in your presence I hope you'll have the good sense and the compassion that your home will be the place where they can do that safely
