THIS is TRUE self-transcendence

means on a mystical level on a spiritual level it means self Transcendence Hashem tells a go for yourself and then a few verses later says that he brought his entire household with him if Le was supposed to be an act of abandoning his old self then why does he bring everyone and everything with him on the road where he's going it's like going camping and bringing a generator in a microwave right but that's the whole point means self Transcendence self Transcendence doesn't mean escaping your old self self Transcendence means bringing all the old stuff with you and being able to have a new relationship with it so in other words if aam were to say to light you know what I just can't have people around me who have such different views on reality that's called escaping or leaving behind or abandoning parts of your life or relationships in your life that you don't agree with self Transcendence really being selfless and really surrendering means you're able to bring with you all the relationships from your past all the people no matter what stance they have on issues and maintain those connections if you're truly self-transcendent then you're able to have people in your life who don't agree with you
