Does your child TRUST YOU?

does your child know that he or she can trust you if they don't then you can be right you can be saying the truth you can have sources to back you up it's not going to help so I want to repeat myself when your child thinks of people who are emotionally safe people who are trustworthy people they can go to are you in that list ideally speaking you should be at the top of that list that doesn't diminish your Authority that only strengthens your Authority that's the Great misunderstanding now if God forbid like I said earlier you cheapen yourself you lower yourself you degrade Yourself by trying to get your child to be your friend oh tell me I'm okay tell me I'm a good parent tell me you like me that destroys everything because how can they trust you when you don't trust yourself how can they feel safe when you're admitting to them how incompetent and insecure you are okay but if you are their emotional Rock if you're their safe person why would that diminish your influence why wouldn't that only strengthen your influence
