Day #96–Rambam DAILY Sefer HaMitzvos

Hashem today is day Number 96 of our daily study of ramaphas in the three chapters a day of mission and Twitter we're in Hillcrest chapters five six and seven those are the laws of forbidden Foods our corresponding Mitzvahs today we have several Mitzvahs actually um five Mitzvahs in total all prohibitions all negative Commandments negative commandment 173 the prohibition against eating non-kosher fish negative commandment 175 the prohibition against eating any flying insects those are called insects negative 176 this is the prohibition against eating creeping land creatures anything that creeps on the land that's a separate prohibition negative experiment 177 is the prohibition against eating insects that are born from decay this is what is referred to as the horremes AL horitz so those are different than scotson those are ramasim and those are created from rotted matter as opposed to from uh reproduction from a father and a mother negative commandment 178 is the prohibition against eating insects that develop inside a fruit or a seed we're talking about uh insects that are inside of a fruit or a seed once they have entered exited the fruit or the seed then they become prohibited even if they re-enter the fruit or the seed those are our Mitzvahs for today we will see you again God willing tomorrow
