Day #205–Rambam DAILY Sefer HaMitzvos

it is day number 205 of our daily study of in the three chapters the day of M We are continuing the laws of the red heer chapters 8 n and 10 we have a new Mitzvah today you'll remember from the previous days we learned Mitzvah 113 for a few days and that is the preparation of the ashes we have a new Mitzvah today Mitzvah positive commandment 108 and that is uh not the preparation of the ashes but how they're actually used including the quintessential Paradox of the ashes the red heer which is that they cause the impure to become pure which is the whole purpose that they fulfill in fact it's the only way to make somebody who's impure from exposure to a corpse to become pure so so they make the impure pure but they make the pure impure that those who are involved in the preparation of the ashes become impure during that process we're going to be learning this mitzvah for a couple more days so uh we'll share additional insights then we'll see you tomorrow for more God willing
