Can you forgive someone for "ruining your life?"

can you ever forgive someone who ruined your life nobody ruined your life here's the thing when you believe that somebody ruined your life you are idolizing your abuser literally why do I say that it's harsh but let me explain it idolizing means to treat someone as an idol an idol means something that is falsely being credited with Godlike power only God can direct the story of your life people enter as players on a stage for a purpose sometimes as Heroes some times as villains but nobody can cause anything to happen to my story that isn't already the story that God wants me to be living so if I think that someone has that power to come in and derail my story from the plan that my God has for me I'm literally idolizing that person I have to realize people may have done wrong to me and for that they will be morally accountable and that's between them and God but my story that's the story that God is telling me not that anyone else is choosing for me
