All right, guys. This is super exciting.
Guess where we are right now. Yeah.
Getting into the Metife Stadium in the
Mitten Deed.
No, this is not for Super Bowl. This is
something way more exciting. Guys, come
along with me and let me show you my
trip over here.
security
and see. [laughter]
>> Yeah, exactly.
[music]
How are you
the fourth floor?
June 6th of 27.
>> June 6,
>> 2027.
Wow. So, time for you to be excited.
And I want to see
empty. I saw I was there last time. See
myself.
Wow.
Wow. Was the right word.
Perfect by the way.
Perfect timing.
The rest
is the CMO.
[music]
Welcome all to the 13th global.
And then you can say is our life. That's
[music] what we live. We live.
[music]
And you
are those KU Larers and those Kunisha
beauty. Okay, so Frian, we are so
excited to be here today, Metife
Stadium. We're getting ready for the
next CMAS. It's amazing that we're we're
back here on a freezing cold day like we
were in January 2020. This time the CM
hopefully is going to be Bashem June
6th, 2027. Hopefully a little warmer and
>> few days before
>> a few
>> so it's gonna be the largest event in
since m probably the cm last time
Girtson's here with us he's going to
share with us some of the history of the
bar keeps on growing keep on growing and
the keeps on growing as well so we
hear a little bit from Gersonson regen
was involved in the sum since 1982 I was
born in 1982 [laughter]
So that was the only right only ever was
supposed to be involved from last time
but regress could tell us right there.
So what was the theme like in 1982?
>> So you know we're standing here as you
can see the snow filled the stadium but
the excitement here at Metife Stadium is
is just beginning now already and really
the preparations for a CM Asha starts a
year two in advance which is what we're
why we're here today. Uh so as you said
my first experience with the CM was back
in 1982.
Um that's 1982
which um we had at the felt forum and um
and um we had about we had about well
it's changed his name five times
already.
>> It's all different.
>> Yeah. That's that's the smaller the
smaller part of Madison Square Garden.
They have a separate little little thing
has about 4 and a half thousand seats.
>> That's it.
>> Yes. 4 and a half thousand seats. And I
think that outplays in the in like
plays have more people now 4 and a half
thousand seats.
>> And I'll I'll tell you a little
interesting interesting anecdote about
that where like I said it was 4 and a
half thousand seats. We were coming from
the previous that I wasn't involved
in that only had about 1,300 people and
Rabbi Sher
was very concerned how are we going to
fill four and a half thousand seats. So
they sent out to thousands and thousands
of people these little admit one cards
and Rab Sher was praying and hoping that
there will be it'll be filled up. It
came the day to seem there was lines
outside the door. people couldn't get
in. But so there were really more than 4
and a half thousand people there, but
the seating was 4 and a half thousand
people. And then um for the 1990 CM um
is when um our our very good friend, a
really dear good friend of Reer got
involved and he convinced Rab Sher. He
said, "I'm taking it we're going to sign
the contract for the big Madison Square
Garden which had 20,000 seats." Wow. um
and Barashem that was that that was that
was filled to capacity. Yeah. And that
was 1990. By 1997 with the with the
growth of Duo and realized of course
that every CM brings with it excitement
not just for the CM but for more L deaf
and more Shurum and all over the country
and all over the world. By 1997, we
actually took a second large stadium was
then was then called continent. It was
then called the Nassau Coliseum
>> out out in Long Island, which had
another 16 17,000 seats. So, and we
filled up both. So, we really had uh 37
38,000 people in the 1997 CM. And by
2005,
we um uh we instead of using the the
Nassau Coliseum, we went to um what was
called here then also these stadiums
keep on changing their names was then
called Continental Airlines Arena. I
think the whole Continental Airlines
doesn't exist anymore today, right? So,
we booked Continental Airlines Arena and
Madison Square Garden and the Felt
Forum, which was a total of over 40
45,000 seats that we filled uh in 2005.
Um and of course the next big leap uh
came here to this huge Metlife stadium
uh in 2012
um where we were really ze to have an
the first of of the most amazing
incredible type of sum that now we've we
we've had again in 2020 and
next year in 2027 but again as I said
before the growth is so is so uh just
just keeps on going and going by Barak
Hashem that not only uh last time
already we booked Barclay's uh Barclays
Arena in Brooklyn uh which we had
another 15,000 people there and this
time we already are entering into
contracts not just with with Metife
Stadium but also with Barclays and there
are also one or two other large venues
in the New Jersey Philadelphia area that
we're now talking about that we hope as
the demand for participation grows that
we'll be able to have and perhaps have
some kind of specialized programming in
different places but everybody tied into
the main cm together um next next as you
said
people ask me why do you have to prepare
for the mashas a year and a half in
advance so I want to share with you
something really really exciting that
we're doing which is one of the reasons
we're here today here in the VIP lounge
we're going to be hosting hundreds of
mages from around the world in just one
month for an amazing event for the mages
share because the goal of what we're
doing now is not just about having an
event in June 2027 but we're here to
promote liaratra and we want people to
be able to learn to grow to grow dafi
and our partners in that are the midday
shir that are saying shir every single
day 7 and a half years 2711
blot and they're going to come here
we're going to have an event and why
here because this is the place that
gives people this they're inspired
they're excited about the cm They
remember the they had here you know most
of the mideshir that are giving for
their first cycle. They decided right
here to make that kabala.
>> Wow.
>> And when they look out you they look out
here like like said they get the chills
and they say this is where I decided I'm
going to change my life. I'm going to
make tra a part of my life every single
day. It's it's amazing.
>> So when is this event happening like in
a month from now?
>> In a month from now this room is going
to be full with my geshir. We're going
to have a very unique menu. A menu based
on shas. We're calling it tame shas.
They're going to have all the different
We're going to have
We're going to have the Corkan. I can't
give you every detail of the menu yet.
>> It's going to be amazing. It's going to
be amazing. We have a special chef um
helping us design a brand new menu just
for this event for audic event. We're
going to have in order there's going to
be a by each course.
There's going to be something never
before seen.
>> Wow. So, how does it work? Who can how
can you sign up like a cheer? I'm sure
of every mag we want every magure to be
a part of this. We have over 1500
magiddis already registered with us. But
those that go it's a worldwide event.
>> It's a worldwide event. We want every
mag to please go to the cm.org and
register your share. So that way you
could be a part of this so we could work
together to grow dafy to celebrate the
cash with all the lapi and that way we
want every mag to really really be a
part of it. So please register today.
One question I have, who's going to be
the major speaker from all the 1500 mach
[laughter]
after
>> every everyone's a speaker. Uh,
>> they all give the every day.
>> But I I I was sitting last night with a
group of Yeshiva Bakum. They want to
know who's going to be the feature
speaker at the CMAS. So I told you know
the famous saying, those that say don't
know, those that know don't say.
>> Good one. Good one.
>> Okay.
>> It's I'm sure it's going to be amazing.
It's a Claudius Rolls event. I would say
one thing that is important to know that
one of the pieces of feedback we've been
hearing from members of cla about this
is people want to come to an event today
that's more interactive that they feel a
part of it and we're going to be
changing a lot of different elements of
the program to make it much more
exciting interactive for everyone for
the for families to come together for
parents to bring their children it's
it's going to be amazing
>> how much more exciting you need than
this view over here
>> wow
>> it's it's amazing every time we come
here it just it It brings back hearing
an
hearing
seeing people learning. This is just one
of the most amazing views.
[music]
Heat. Heat. [music]
[music]
>> [music]
>> Oh
shi
[screaming]
[music]
can tell you one thing. It's going to be
as never before
>> in every way possible.
>> In every way possible.
>> Yes.
>> From from from learning to speeches to
music to singers and choirs and metam
it's going to be full of excitement and
of course it's I mean it's going to be
something that has never been seen
before. Am I right?
>> Definitely that's where we're working on
planning it and we should have the for
the past be warm. That's the most
energy.
>> What's the plan with this the selling
the tickets? I know people are getting
very nervous [laughter] it can be sold
out before it's even hitting the market.
>> Yeah, it's amazing. We send out our
first email about this and right away we
get emails back. I want tickets. I want
tickets. We have people from Australia
emailing us they want tickets. South
Africa they want tickets. They want
tickets. This is something
we're going to get. Right. So tickets
will hopefully start being available in
January of 2027.
>> A year from now.
>> But a year from now. Yes. Hashem which
is still 6 months before the kai Israel
tends to reserve most of their tickets a
little later. So
>> but they can reserve the seat now. They
want to point they can reserve their
seat
>> you know just like that just they can
reserve a seat.
>> I would give another plug. We want to
make sure that the come first because
ultimately this is the of the
we have to start now. So the lawyers
that came
I'm I'm finishing shots I'm I'm five
behind but I am I'm finishing shots.
>> You better you better we got to have you
there.
>> I started the last team I started
is going to involve me in this one and
I'm one of them.
>> Yes.
>> So that means that
you learn. How do you know that? You
have to fill out application.
>> You have to register. If you register
if you register now as a or as a on our
website we're going to give you first
information. We're sending out all the
information about the CM first to those
that register on our list. And please
please register so we can make sure the
London Dafi are are first.
>> As he'll give you the website exactly
what you ask information, the website
you can give it.
>> Yes, the cm.org ti
m.org. Kaldiki,
I can tell you I'm pretty confident that
you be able to fill up two such
stadiums. I'm sure
>> if you did three three stadiums last
time Oh grows. We see tremendous growth
in Kayla and Diami grows. You look at
some of the large groups of light.
>> So you're definitely looking into more
more more more stadiums.
>> We are um we are uh we're we're in talks
with other stadiums. We did a
walkthrough um a little while back at
Barkley Center where we also had a that
was our second venue last year. And
we've been talking to other to other
venues as well. Metife Stadium is the
largest venue in the Northeast. So
people ask you got to go somewhere
bigger than Metife. There is nowhere
bigger than the Met than the Metife
Stadium. So we we're here this is our
this is our home and uh we were here now
this will be Bashim our third CM
>> here and we're hoping to have other
venues as as we see the need and we
assess the need and and try to cater to
Kra's growth
>> that no one should be left behind.
>> Yes, it's it's important we want
everyone to be part of the sea. I mean,
one of the one of the amazing things
about that you don't have, I think, by
any other event in Kra is you could have
a 95year-old Hadar and an 8-year-old
Bakar that both enjoy and are in from
the same event. Where else do you have
that?
>> Oh, you can have kids and all ages.
>> Little kids, right? Little kids and and
>> come on. With kids, you can fill up
three such stadiums.
>> So, people come, we have
>> What are you doing with the women? So
lastium we had about a third of the
seats at the stadium were women's seats.
>> Oh, I didn't know that.
>> And we in Barkley Center we had also
about a third were women's seats. And
it's a bar is big. We never have enough
room.
>> If you invite the kids, the men and the
women, if a show can fill up two such
>> we have we have a program last we we
have a program called where the kids in
around the country get involved. They
learn in advance of the grew. Last CM we
had about 30,000 kids. This CM we're
working on our plans for for different.
Our goal is 50 to 60,000.
>> So the numbers keep on growing. Israel
is is growing and keep on growing.
So everybody can start today. Eight
learn the daf hay.
I want to introduce you to Bill Rob Mr.
Bill Lore the general manager of
Delaware of food beverage and and
merchandising merchandising of the
entire Metife Stadium.
>> Correct.
>> Fry take it away with Mr. Bill.
>> Mr. Bill.
>> Yes.
>> Tell us what was the biggest event over
here in this uh
>> the biggest event we've hosted at this
building a Gudith is certainly one of
them. uh Super Bowl uh for in 2014 was
was one of the biggest events we hosted.
>> Probably the same was the biggest,
right?
>> Oh yeah. From a attendance perspective,
Rudith was was amongst the biggest.
>> You remember that?
>> Oh, two of them. I used to do them in
the old building as well.
>> Oh, nice.
>> Yeah.
>> So, see was the biggest attendance over
here.
