Should Christians Keep the Oral Torah? A Farmer from Judea Responds | Land of Israel Network

I'm just like a chicken farmer in Judea. I'm not some sort of scholar or theologian. So, it helps me see see things from a little bit more of a simple perspective. And so, this whole conversation, while I love having it and well, when I hear your testimony, I'm humbled by it, I just I'm honored to be sitting next to you to hear someone that is on such an advanced place in their journey and such nuances and you know, you feel like Jews should be this and you should be that. By the way, I think he's a testimony to what my point is that I'm trying to make were the oral Torah is not really meant for Christians to keep the deep nuances of it all. It was really given to the nation of Israel. Just like there's special laws of the priests in the temple that were given to the priests. We have an entire corpus of the laws of the Torah that are really applicable to us. But for him to be keeping the spirit of it on the deepest most visceral level and not maybe not all the nuances, but that is beauty to me. That is a taste of redemption. That is what we're trying to go for. Not that they become Jews or need to keep all of the the nuances of things. [music]
