We just like to conclude with this week's parsha, parsha Sav, where it talks about Maftir. Rashi ends off by telling us one of the last sukkahs in tells us that the Benei Aaron, the children of Aaron, shall I hit to Yemina Smale. They did not waver either right or left. They kept on to the straight and narrow, which fits in beautifully with the what the Rambam tells us in Hilchos Deos. The Rambam tells us Shvil Hazahav, the golden path, Derech Hamemutza, that a person goes in the middle. And it's very famous that Reb Dessler used to say, "Everyone in the world is walking on a tightrope." What does that mean? "Either the people to the right of you are fanatically crazy, and the people left of you are loony left. But me, I've got the balance. Only I have the balance, and I'm normal, as they call. And therefore, I'm walking the tightrope." And the Rambam is very quick to point out that is the best way for a person to approach life. You don't go too extreme to the right, being super duper religious that could hurt and offend other people. And at the same time, you don't go left, the Lubavitcher Rebbe explains, that you engage with people who are not as religious as you, that could potentially affect you. You're able to say to yourself, "I know who I am. I know what I'm going to do. I know I'm going to make an impact, and I'm going to stay in the middle." "Shall I hit to Yemina Smale" means I'm not wavering, going too far off to one side, or too far off to the other. I'm going in that Shvil Hazahav. I'm going in that golden path. So, that could fit in very beautifully with how we started off the parsha at the beginning. "Sav" means "Loshen Zirus." If a person understands that they're able to connect to Hashem and know what it is they need to do, you're going to go very quickly towards that goal, cuz you know exactly what it is and how you could obtain that goal. And you're going to go in the fastest form possible for a person to achieve whatever they can. And "Lo Yihiteh Yemina Smale," a person will will waver, cuz when you know you have to achieve your goal, you're going straight for it and nothing can stop you. And with Hashem, all of us should be that we should go on that path and be able to serve Hashem every single day the proper way. Amen.
