In the late 1800s, Harry Houdini was a very famous magician, very well known for his escape acts. What he's not as well known is for his fight against um superstition and not who superstition rather, but um um these charlatans where people would take advantage of um people that wanted to reach out to the dead. And a lot of people believed in those kind of things. And people would pay a lot of money to talk to their great-grandfather, their great great-grandfather, their passed away mother, something along those lines. And Harry Udini after actually wanting to reach out to his mother who passed away realized very quickly that this is not something that's the truth. And he fought against it very very strong. As a matter of fact, there's a conspiracy theory that he was killed by these people because he destroyed their business. That's a that's that's a discussion for a different time. But there's a this right is actually believe it or not in this week's par there's a concept of brings down it's talking about or also there are different ways of the terror is telling us you are not allowed to reach out to the dead and talk to them and um find out the future or find out different things and the Rambam says is the Rambam and the Ramban very famous is the Rambam says that this is it's not possible you can't possibly bring up someone for the dead and discuss it. And um the Ramb argues and disagrees and he actually brings a because we find in that when he wanted to talk to he went to one of these people and he brought up Rambam disagrees and he says that actually never happened. Believe it or not, once Houdini died, his wife actually spent a lot of time and money trying to bring him up for the dead and communicate from him. And they actually came up with some kind of a plan, like a code to to prove that he was actually talking. And she came to the to the conclusion that something like this can never happen.
