The Torah now moves on to discuss those
who become tame needing to leave the
camps of Kalai Israel and the explains
that to weakens the nepheshless
the spiritual dimension behind a
person's intellect and it confuses it
until the person becomes Tahar again.
Now, we're taught that what separates a
human being from an animal is the
ability to think and understand. But the
is teaching us that intellect alone is
not what truly makes us unique. It's
what the intellect is connected to that
makes it special.
A person can be brilliant. They can come
up with ideas that sound deep,
sophisticated, even inspiring. But if
they're disconnected from the source of
creation itself from
from his Torah, from MS, then the can
become distorted. And that's the danger
of tuma.
It doesn't just affect the body, it
affects the clarity of how a person sees
the world and how they're driven to act
and react within it.
separates the from the nephesh
from the spiritual truth that's supposed
to guide it. And that's why the Torah
teaches that someone in this state
couldn't remain in the camp of the or
beyond because being close to a bar
requires more than intellect.
It requires being constantly connected
to the only source of truth.
