What a fascinating thing. What do we say in the vidui ma'aser? We say the IT man Hakadosh Baruchu from the base hamikdash to the Levi, for the ger, yesomim and almanos. I make sure to take care of all the people that don't have their own sources of income. They can't necessarily be taken care of. The Levi, who's dedicated his life to Hashem, he doesn't have any income. The ger, who has no land in an agricultural world, if you don't have any land it's very difficult to make a living. The yesomim, the almanos, these are helpless people. And then we say I'm taking care of all of them. I'm giving vidui, I'm giving I'm doing ma'aser rishon, I'm giving ma'aser ani, I'm taking care of everybody. So then my tefillah goes up to Hashkif mimon kodshecha from Ma'on. Ma'on is in a higher level than Zevul. That's why going stuck up, when I'm giving stuck up, when I'm doing this when I'm doing things the right way, I'm taking care of the people that can't take care of themselves, that's even a higher form of the sham than bringing carbonos.
