all right i got david pertman with blimp poland [Music] um uh zeppelin and he was an electrician does anybody know how to pronounce the cz for transition no not modified and yellow is cc yeah like should and yellowish yes do you need help i got it awesome [Music] educator children's author and pediatrician 1902 it's unknown he was he was a warsaw poland he was the son of israel pisa and husband he died in a place germany mother of japan mordechai anna lewis 24 years old from wisconsin it's some more my grandmother was wondering when i told her we have six more names just sitting david i guess she was born in transylvania romania and she was a housewife and she perished in budapest all right we did it good job in guys all right so here's here's the questions for that what we'll do is i'll post the questions i will go around everybody will give their opinions and then i'll give you the jewish answer girl okay so first question is true story happened in america probably 10 years ago or so there was a jewish couple who had siamese twins okay and one of the twins had a cool heart the other one had a half a heart and the doctor's diagnosis was if you leave them together the one with the whole heart sorry if you leave them together they will both die within the next 12 months pretty much for sure if you perform a surgery now and separate the two the one with the half the heart will die on the spot but the one with the full heart will live a normal life obviously we don't know how long that is it could be only 12 months because some people die after four months but chances are they live a long morning so the question was what should this couple do they were left with this question should they perform the survey order on the one hand on the one hand you're dealing with murder right by doing the surgery you're murdering one of the kids on the other hand if you just sit and do nothing you have the opportunity to save someone's life and you're not some question is what to do so really we're gonna go around there's two questions here number one is god forbid if someone was in that situation emotionally how do you think you would react and no one wants to kill their own kid and no one wants to not save their own life so emotionally what would be your instinct and number two is what do you think the ethics what do you think the law of jewish law would say so those are really two questions and question number three what we're going to discuss is if this happens many times in wars across judy for sure if someone puts a gun into five guy's heads it says give me one of you guys or i'll kill all of you okay yes what's that sorry all right if someone wants to give up their own life they're allowed to right even though in general your life comes first but here everyone's going to get killed so you're letting off your own life in a situation where no one wants to step to the plate and offer their own life can four of them decide that they don't like the other guy as much or he's just a stranger or four against one can they decide to offer the other guy it's not like they're offering someone that would have stayed alive anyway they're all going to die so by offering this guy specifically it's just saving them that guy would have died anyways the question is are
