Shopping In Kabul's Famous Tourist Market (Chicken Street)

after landing in kabul from herat we went straight to chicken street which is kabul's famous souvenir market to buy some things to take home okay so we were out on chicken street and we came into this shop which is supposedly the biggest souvenir shop in kabul we have a lot of beautiful things carpets and uh look at all this stuff really nice stuff local carpets and pottery and things like that and here in the back he has a whole other hello thank you so much for for allowing me in here all this beautiful glass there are swords and guns um they're antique guns and then there are just all sorts of things beautiful magnets of afghanistan more scarves and stuff like that and then we have also a beautiful section with fur jackets and coats so yeah this is souvenir shopping in afghanistan so i'm here with this very nice man here near near chicken street and he's selling beautiful scarves so i just took four of them when i wanted to pay he said no you don't need to pay you're my guest we don't need money i paid him anyway but he's a good man thank you so much i really appreciate your hospitality [Music] thank you best people in couple out here in the street just having some fresh pomegranate juice made um hopefully it's going to be delicious thank you thank you very much it's really good very heavy it's pretty slow can i go to my room and uh in the morning i have a flight out of here back to india so we'll see you in the morning good morning it is wednesday morning and i am about to leave kabul it was such an amazing trip everything's packed i'm in the hotel and i'm going to zablon symethov the last year of kabul to davan chakras to pray the morning prayers at his synagogue and then i will be heading to the airport and back to india okay so we just gave zablon the second salami and um he's very happy thank you thank you [Music] do [Music] okay so we are in kabul right now uh leaving we're almost at the airport one more minute we'll be at the airport and that will mark the end of my trip to kabul it was so special and such a wonderful time some of the best people and the best fruits and drinks beautiful land so what can i say it's been a very very nice trip [Music] okay so we i just got to the airport you know in a way i'm a little bit sad to be leaving the country what can i tell you it was really a very special trip and i hope i'll be able to come back one day i made many new friends and uh i really fell in love with this place okay now it's time to go inside see you later you
