FIRST TIME FLYING EMIRATES BUSINESS CLASS (Dubai to New York)

good morning i'm in dubai airport going to new york and uh i woke up late did not have a chance to get a shower so i want to try to get into the lounge and freshen up a bit before the flight thank god i'm flying business so shouldn't be an issue let's see how this goes okay so i am in this place is really nice we have to find the showers there it is okay let's see if we can find the room that's available that was the wrong place and hopefully now we're gonna find the right one this lounge is huge and it continues i'm still looking i guess here's the kitchen that we're passing right now and these showers are weird hey i've been looking all over looks like we got it hello um looking for showers oh okay so we got it i have like five minutes the reason i really have like a half hour but i want to try to get to uh i want to try to get to the back to lounge because they told me that kosher food and my flight was booked last minute so i didn't bring enough kosher food with me they have in the lounge i wanna try to get some of that i'm gonna jump in the shower be right out that was life-changing it's amazing what a shower could do to a person the guy who went into the shower and the guy who came out of the shower they're two completely different people i don't even know the other guy's name uh so badly needed okay anyway i'm going to run now to the gate because i have 10 minutes till boarding closes and it's a few minute walk so we better run we gotta run okay getting on the plane right now ah thank god it's like one minute to the gate closes i'm always late but i make it in the end [Music] hmm we are about to take off and uh really looking forward to this flight hopefully very productive i'll be able to work and sleep and learn some torah and whatever it is good morning from the emirates business class bathroom on the plane check it out fresh flowers i've never seen that before anyhow we got on the plane take off they pretty much put everybody to bed they came and offered uh to tour my seat into like a bed they brought a mattress but i was it was at work so i did not take them off at all for now everybody is sleeping and i need to pray i need to dive in chakras so i'm gonna get back out there trying to be quiet and do my morning prayers everybody's sleeping i have to down the trackers we have the stars on the ceiling again [Music] and now i'm going to try to get a quick nap rest up a little bit and then maybe get some work done the bed goes down completely flat which is awesome the question is that was awesome that was amazing um i think i feel like about two hours really well rested and now i'm going to try to get some work done and then now i'm going to be positioned for work we're actually going through some pretty wild turbulence right now a little more intense than i'm used to but i see it as comfortable okay so i'm not doing some work here now actually writing a letter for the 500th issue of magazine which is going to come out next week by the time you watch this it'll probably be out already flight was amazing really really awesome staff was super nice and i didn't even get a meal because i booked my flight a couple hours before it was supposed to take off which means that when it comes to kosher meal you're supposed to order your meal at least 24 hours of advance so when i got on the plane there was no kosher meal for me actually brought some food with me because i wasn't expecting the meal and i didn't end up eating anything so i haven't eaten more than 24 hours i've been drinking i'm fine i'm not i don't know why but i don't feel hungry so i'm not gonna force uh myself but the staff keeps coming over there people apologizing they're so sorry and i keep telling them like it's not your fault it's my fault that it's like they're late and they're trying to offer me fruits and chocolate or whatever they can to uh to make up for it i'm really impressed by their service and how inclined they are and how caring they are and i definitely would fly generous business again and that's that we have landed in new york it's an amazing flight and i cannot wait to go back to dubai again see you there
