okay it's matzah Shabbos Saturday night
March 15th
I believe I'm in my car I'm in Israel
and I need to go get gas because my gas
is almost empty now tonight the panic
officially started in Israel the Prime
Minister of Israel announced that all
schools were going to be closed the
announced that last week but now they
announced that all restaurants when we
closed theaters wedding halls basically
everything's shutting down and
everyone's panicking and all the you
know a lot of the supermarket shelves
are empty right now because people just
panic bought everything so I hope I'm a
little bit ahead of the curve I'm trying
to fill up my car with gas because if I
can get gas then I can continue to drive
around and report on this and whatever
so heading to the gas station is like
two minutes away from my house hopefully
I can get gas I got a mask in my pocket
and gloves so when I touched the you
know the handle of the gas thing not
gonna get effective God willing let's
see how this works so we are approaching
the gas station here as you can see
there are other people it's it's after
it's after midnight this is a very quiet
neighborhood so there are never people
here at this hour but I guess other
people are thinking along the same lines
and they're realizing that there may be
a gas shortage so
you gotta gotta fill up just in case I'm
happy that other people are are taking
it seriously
but I also want to make sure that I get
some gas too so let's do this thing got
a pump just opened up and I'm gonna pull
up here and get some guys forgot this I
got my gloves on before we start
thank God thank God thank God the gas is
filling up okay so now that we've got
the gas I'm on the way into Jerusalem to
see if anything's open as restaurants
will be closed tomorrow I want to try to
get some restaurant food before we have
to refrain from it for a month so let's
see what we could find I was driving
around I went to some other
neighborhoods where people usually hang
out on what the Shabbos Saturday nights
they were empty now again it is very
late but also even on a regular Saturday
night people are up you are hanging out
that late so it's definitely quieter
than usual I'm about to head into the
shock money hooda things open okay so
I'm here at beer Bazar one of the most
popular places in the shook and they
just told me that they're going to be
closed until whenever this is like
they're cleaning up now the workers are
worried they don't know when it's an
open again but they're positive that
sooner or later things will work out and
life will get better hey bye guys good
luck can't can't wait to be back when
you open again here on a regular night
this is this shook I mean on a regular
right any night really busy especially
on Saturday nights it's almost 2 a.m.
usually this place would be popping with
people almost completely empty
here at hatch city what do you think
this is gonna be over do what yeah
really the things we okay so this is the
last night of hacks that just closed
probably for a while did I get out why
everybody says oh this is Jackson bar
also very popular spot McCook closing
now for the last time for a while again
many of these restaurants are telling me
that they're going to be open for for
takeout and delivery but for the most
part there will be no note in
restaurants for a while through the main
through fear of the hook and this is
what I would consider the last party in
Israel for a while it's late night
tomorrow morning all restaurants become
illegal to legal for them to stay open
so this is the last party check it out
almost over
[Music]
tomorrow night there will be nobody here
it'll be quiet no bars no parties Wow
really unbelievable to see how the world
is changing so quickly hopefully it
won't last long
okay so that's it I was just talking to
people here who work at the bars and
restaurants at the shook they're a
little bit worried they don't know
what's gonna be they don't know how long
it's gonna take until things get back to
normal
they're trying to stay positive and
hopefully it won't be too long and this
place will be busy again the world will
get back to itself people will get
healed and hopefully we'll make the
world a better place
