We Stand Out Where it All Began uh it's interesting I always say if you watch any of the shiron we have on YouTube I I always say that the um one of the best proofs that the Torah is not a newspaper or a uh a book like Harry Potter it's something Divine is that if you study each week's par you'll actually find something that specific speically indivi you know pertaining to you that week meaning you know you read each par each week every year it's the same thing over and over again in the old days they used to read the uh entire uh over three years now we do it every year but either way the Miracles still work now which means that every week if you actually study the Pasha really carefully you'll find something that's not only pertaining to what's going on in the world at that particular time in your life but also something that's specifically specific to you so one of the that I got for myself from this week was that's very very interesting is that this week's par we get the mitvah the 613th Mitzvah and if anyone knows what the 613 Mitzvah is the last Mitzvah it's the WR Tora [Music] almost 10 years ago I was here with all of you and many other people as well giving my that was the beginning of the whole CH process so it's very interesting that 10 years later I'm giving my first year at theet that I did a so first of all is somebody very special if you look at all of my shim it's very rare that I actually give a compliment to a rabbi because unfortunately in our gener ation many rabbis are very concerned about people's feelings so much so that they are scared of telling people the truth and in essence what happens in this generation is that the rabbis end up making the decision for people where they say listen maybe if I tell them what the other half of the Torah says you know one half that says all the blessings all the good things that are going to happen if you do the right thing and there's one half that says say all the bad things that happen if you don't do it no one really wants to talk about the bad things so everyone lives an illusion that there's only going to be good things and sometimes when you when you learn from some people you see that they only talk about the good things so people that don't learn often you know where they only learn let's say once a week or even once a month or perhaps even once a year they they hear raship and they only hear good things they honestly think that that's every Jew has is guaranteed ganeden and it's not true not according to the torat there's obviously a responsibility that all Jews have you can't just be a King Without a responsibility you can't just be a prince and act like you know however you want you know if there was a king and he had a prince and the prince decided that Hey listen I don't want to be a prince I want to go hang out with my friends at the clubs and I want to wear shorts and I want to wear a tank top every day and I want to go out with a different girl every night the king is not exactly going to be too excited about this uh this Prince why cuz the prince had a certain obligation he didn't choose to be a prince no one asked him if he's going to be the prince or not but he's the prince prince has certain privileges but he also has certain responsibilities unfortunately in this generation sometimes we have so many people so concerned about getting people to come and show up and givea and donations and donations and donations we forget about the we forget about why we even here what's the donation for so you see a lot of that are very very big but unfortunately there's not enough Tora in there and this since the beginning since has come here also Everything Has Changed drastically and the main reason is because he's honest with the Torah but we still have a big difficult I remember for myself so no one take anything that I say personally I'm talking mostly to myself and reminding myself of how I was I remember 10 years ago before the Torah speak clearer maybe you should do this maybe he should I I thought about a bunch of suggestions of how he should do things not me I didn't look at myself that I should learn I thought he has to do something like he owes me something little did I know that the problem was with me because 10 years later I've benefited in learning a little bit of Tor and every single word that he says I understand now still the same person but somehow something changed in last week's it says it talks about ch anyone that's looking for a source of CH in the Torah it comes from comes from other places as well but those days they respected the rabbi so he said what he did what the rabbi said hired a rabbi Rabbi comes to the house and starts teaching the boy every day 20 years later that Rabbi goes to the father and he says even though it's going to hurt my P I can't teach your son anything 20 years I'm teaching him he knows everything I know and probably even more if I come here one more day you're just wasting your money so thank you very much for being honest the rabbi leaves the son is very excited this is the first time he gets to get out of the house 20 years he's only learning T it wasn't like trick maybe maybe just maybe we can get a better price he sends him to a different Market first guy says 50,000 second guy says 250,000 and the last guy says a half a million the kid doesn't know what to do with himself how could it be yesterday was a th000 was the best thing I could get today 500,000 what can happen in one day he goes back to the ABA he says ABA what happened I if you're not going to sell it for 500,000 I don't know what you're going to sell it for but anyway what happened how could it be because the first Market you went to was a market for lemonade they were selling fruits vegetables they don't know anything about diamonds so they said it's a rock it's a nice rock it's pretty they'll give you a thousand the second Market those are diamond dealers they know what the diamond is they they're paying you full price the First Market you went to they didn't know anything about Torah so they say it's not even worth to them it's not even worth to Lemonade but if you go to the right crowd people that actually know what to is half a million would just be the starting price and that's the thing we have to understand is that t is not something it's not like math it's not like science it's not like any other subject it's something extraordinary when someone has Torah they have everything Rabbi Z has a lot of T and I didn't come here to just talk about him but I'm other ones but what you have here is very unique the problem is that we don't know that we have a diamond I know I didn't know when I was here what else is the problem with today's age is not just the rabis it's just it's not just that we don't know what T Li is it's that you have pretty much if you're not religious if you're not keeping Shabbat you're not keeping you're not keeping kosher if you're not doing what Hashem says then you're one of two people either you don't believe you don't believe in anything or you don't know meaning that you believe in something but you don't really know the significance of everything there's a lot of people that I meet during these shes online and the places that we have the shures and You' be surprised at how little people actually know people don't really know they know the famous stories they saw a movie about Moses one day so they know about Moses they saw a recent movie about Noah they think that the movie is actually a real representation of Noah even though it had nothing to do with the story other than having the same name Noah it had nothing to do with the story people saw a movie so they think that's the torat very few people actually know about torat and that's part of the reason why if you don't know you can't really be at fault for not doing you know for doing something wrong the problem is that we all have we all we all have a brain we could all read we could all all write we're not in a third world country where there's no books available if you want to in our generation it's only a click of a button just as easy as it is to click on ESPN you can get a Torah lecture it's all a matter of will you want to learn you can learn it's just a matter of will it's a matter of overcoming the so what happens with the people that don't believe to them I talk about Torah proofs which we'll go over a few of them today the people that don't know to them I go over some of the details of what they should know as far as Torah proof some of the things that people have a problem with with the written Torah is the fact that it was written 3,300 years ago a little over 3,300 years ago so how could a book that was written over 3,000 years ago be relevant to my life today how is it possible how could it be anything more than just a Harry Potter book how could it be anything that's anything related to this modern world with iPhones and iPads and airplanes and Googles how could it be the amazing part of the T is I said earlier you could find something relevant to your life in every single par the second thing about the Torah that's very different than any other book you will ever find is that it actually has information that no human in the world could have ever written so I'll give you some examples to show you an understanding of how this cannot be a man-made creation a lot of people have a problem with keeping kosher they figure that if I go to the pizzeria that's not Kosher but it's cheese it's cheese not so bad it's not meat it's not meat it's cheese I'm not violating any rules anyone who doesn't know they are violating all of the rules not just from the cheese but the actual the actual sauce has meat in it every Pizzeria that's how you make a different sauce if you have three pizzerias that are not coer they're all using the same ingredients there's cheese there's bread there's sauce how is the flavor different because the flavor is different based on the meat that the sauce is cooked in and also the meat that's compr that's part of the cheese itself that's why it's not only a violation of kosher but it's also milk and meat but people have a problem with this why maybe these kosher rules Maybe not not really maybe it's some Rabbi made it up soem says in our Tor he says listen you're only allowed to eat a specific type of animal it has to have two signs split hoves and has to chew its cud fine there's about 10 animals that could do that in all of creation it's pretty interesting he listed those animals but the more interesting part is that he said said that out of all of creation which at this point we know there's approximately 2 million species there's 2 million species that we know that exist today there's Pro there's probably more but there's two million that we know of we have documented information about and he said out of all of those two million species only four will have one of the two signs the kosher ones will have two signs there's about 10 of them the non- kosher ones will have nothing no signs but there's four that will have one sign the rabbit the herrings which is similar to a rabbit the Pig and the camel now if this was a man-made book that let's say Moses wrote or Abraham wrote or Noah wrote or just some Rabbi a few thousand years ago wrote do you think that he's going to take a risk in writing something that's completely untrue because he he wants people to follow his religion if he's doing it for power or for money then he's going to try to make it as easy as possible to believe so he's not going to say listen I have a religion here and I have some proof that this book is divine if he tells you listen September 11th happened in the middle of Japan the towers dropped in the middle of Japan you're going to say oh there's a mistake in this book goes in the garbage right cuz September 11th happened in New York city so if he's telling you there's only four animals out of 2 million species 3,000 years ago well before humans knew about these two million species there something to it and the interesting part is until this day even including mutations even including with manipulations from scientists that tried to manipulate to disprove the Torah there's never been another animal with one sign other than those four another thing that we know is that the sea is the vast majority of the world 73% of the Globus is water which means that everything we have on land we have in the water and even more Hashem says you're only allowed to eat a certain type of fish it has to have fins and it has to have scales fine fins and scales everyone knows what fins and scales are fins are the little flippery things and the scales of the stuff stuff that you scratch off interesting but the Torah says that you will find a fish with just fins but you will never find a fish with just scales never so you look at the fish you say okay just fins I know there's a dolphin there's a shark and there's plenty of fish that have just fins just like the Torah says but then they're telling me that I never find a fish with no fins but just scales how could it be again 3,000 years later no one can find a fish with just scales Torah has many Prophecies of things that happened that were already written 3,000 years ago there's something called Torah codes which is a mathematical way of finding Secrets within the Torah we go over some of these things in the other to give you just a small taste of it everything that happened in the Holocaust is already talked about in the Torah and others has the names of Hitler all of his buddies concentration camps the locations all the details that didn't exist obviously when the Torah was written are in actually the Torah 911 also 911 is also there this conversation is also there we just need to know how to find it really it is everything is there okay everything everything everything in creation is in the Torah there actually a video that was uh done recently by uh Professor Shore it's a 17-minute video if anyone wants it just remind me after the sh and I'll send it to you it's a 17 minute video it talks about the the just the first just that first P just that first verse first verse of the Torah has more information in it then all of the intelligence that the world has all of it 17 minutes you'll understand mathematical information prophecy everything you want is in the first verse just one verse forget about just the rest of the toah which has 304,000 letters talking about first verse so next thing is people say okay you know what the Christians believe in the Old Testament they call the Torah Old Testament the Arabs believe in the Torah okay so I believe in it too fine it's a nice story never read it but I heard about it fine I'll believe in it but where do these mitv come from where do these all these rules Come From so you tell them well the mitvah technically all come from the oral from the written tah the source of them is from the written tah but the explanation of how to do them is from something called the oral Tor t so he say okay what is that is there another name for it yeah it's called and so on it's part lots of parts to all even books that are written today to explain certain things are also part of the old so if somebody opens the talud they see there's a bunch of rabbis arguing now they're not arguing of whether you should do it or not do it they're arguing about how to perfect doing the Mitzvah that's one of the mistakes that I made early on where I thought that is full of arguments of whether you should keep Shabbat or not keep Shabbat one Rabbi says you should keep Shabbat the other Rabbi says you shouldn't keep Shabbat that's completely not it that's not the argument the argument is how you should keep Shabbat the argument is not whether you should do or not it's whether you should do it at a specific time or not and is 15 which is like 30 pages because each D in the is two back and forth is 15 just talking about 15 minutes they're arguing about 15 minutes so it's not about whether you should do the Mitzvah or not it's about perfecting the Mitzvah so people say okay you know what this looks it's nice it's interesting great but who says this is divine okay I could see how the Torah has many things that are Divine the written one but how do I know that this oral one is divine looks like a bunch of of people wrote it the interesting part about the oral tah is that Shalom was ever in Jeopardy of having to give up one of the toras if an enemy Nation would say listen you have to give us one of them either written or or the oral most people would say give him the we don't need it but the reality of it is we have to give him the the written T the reason why is because without the T without the oral Tor there is no Judaism whereas without the written Tora we still have Judaism because Judaism is not a story Judaism is not a history lesson Judaism is a way to connect to Hashem you can't connect to hasem to just stories you have to connect to hm through actions you can't tell your wife you love her just by sending a card once every five years you have to show up once in a while you have to pay the bills you have to tell you love her you have to do a few things not not too different with hasem you have to show up once in a while more than a few I'm trying to be uh soft on you guys so they say how do I know okay so now you have this oral to what else makes it so special one thing that we know is that the that's behind me a few of them if you notice none of them have Nik you're not allowed to put Nik inside the SE if there's Nik it's violate seph it's not allowed to use it even if got thrown out and then s again so what do you have MSS do you know how to read MSS if anything maybe it's Miss it's a woman has nothing to do with Moses without the vows you can't read the word same thing with Nik without knowing where the Nik is you can't read the can't read the words the reason why the holy Rabbi knows how to read the to because he knows where it is he read the one with the Nik without the oral Torah without this CeX which is just one small part of the old T there is no written T which means there is no Christianity there is no Islam and of course there isn't any Judaism because we wouldn't know how to read this book it would just be a bunch of letters the second thing that makes it very interesting as far as the or tah is that there's a lot of Secrets within the oral T that cannot come from a human so for example there's the number of stars number of stars in the universe back when the Torah was written we obviously didn't have telescopes telescopes only started in the 1600s by Galileo galile before Galo gal came to the world we only thought that there's somewhere in a neighborhood of 6,000 stars because that's what we were able to see you look go on the top of a mountain no pollution you see 6,000 maybe 8,000 Stars Torah wrote an exact number page 32 uh DB Hashem is telling us this formula of exactly how to calculate the number of stars the nation of Israel complains about how the BET mikdash was destroyed and they feel like Hashem forgot about them but they say it in the Mas they say hasem even when a when a husband leaves his wife and divorces Legions has 30 Ron and each one of those 30 Ron have 30 Kon and each one of these 30 Kon has 30 G and each one of these 30 G have 365,000 * 10,000 which is 3.65 million stars if you do the math 30 * 30 * 30 * 30 * 30 * 12 * 365,000 or 3.65 million you get an exact number 1064 340 and then 12 zeros after it it's one to the 18th power almost a little more than that that's the number of stars not in today's age and not 3,000 years ago and not 2,000 years ago when this was written did we have a calculator to come up with that many numbers 10 to the 18 pow is beyond human capacity so when we told this to the go they laughed in our face 8,000 Stars you're saying this crazy number come on be serious what is this number in 1994 NASA came up with a research they connected a computer a supercomputer to a telescope this is almost 400,000 400 years after Galileo galile came up with the original telescope the original telescope said that there's well wrong there's not 6,000 Stars there's probably a few million so already we jumped you fast forward to 1994 and NASA came up with a estimate of 10 to the 17th power fast forward another 10 years University in Australia came up with 10 to estimate of 10 to the 19th power so little by little they're getting to the truth but the interesting part is that they need a supercomputer we didn't have one back then meaning that the only thing that could have given this information is that one the one that put it there another thing about kosher is that a lot of people think that you know I remember when I was a kid I would have some friends make fun of kosher so they say listen you know come eat McDonald's eat this eat that I'll bless it for you I'll bless it for you I'm sure all of you guys have heard it at some point somebody say come on I'll bless it for you they thought that some Rabbi blesses the food they don't realize that the animals that hasem picked are specifically unique unique in creation one of the most important things that of course RAB Z could explain to you because he's a he knows all of this and many other things he knows is that there's something unique about the kosher animals one of the things that's important about kosher Slaughter is that the animal can never suffer now if you look at the traditional way of killing an animal you take a gun you shoot it shoot it in the head you think oh it's looks like it's suffering but I don't know it's dead after a few seconds maybe a minute two minutes or they electrocute him sometimes a lot of vicious things that they do but still all of those people think that the slaughter of cutting the neck of the cow or the Sheep is much worse of course he's suffering this is where science comes in science has shown us a lot of interesting things a lot of people think that science goes against religion goes against the Torah but science is little by little proving the Torah in order for anyone to die it's not the heart it's the brain as soon as the brain stops getting blood you're officially dead if the the heart stops working you're still alive you can still get the the heart to come back to life because the brain is still functioning but as soon as there's no more blood going to the brain that's it that's clinical death and if it continues obviously then it's official death so anytime that they they announce anyone's death they announce it based on when the brain waves stop working that's how we know that the person or animal or whatever species it is is no longer with us that's also how we know if the animal is suffering so we know that in order for us to stop this suffering oh we have some background music with the it's good there's some background music so at least it's not me with my phone so so now you have a uh all of the animals you have a pig for example if you slaughter a pig a pig or a horse or a camel or any non- kosher animal if you Slaughter it the kosher way it's still not Kosher even without the signs even if it had the two signs it still cannot be killed in a Kosher Way why because you can't kill the pig without the pig not suffering if you cut the throat of the pig it has two veins so imagine this is for example it's in the picture of the book but you won't see it from far away so let's say this is the head of the pig so the pig has two veins this is the brain and he has one vein here on top one Vein on the bottom if you cut the bottom there's still going to be blood coming from the top so until that blood comes out from the bottom the pig's still alive if he's alive he's still suffering meaning you cannot kill a pig or a horse or any non- kosher animal that does not have those two signs in a Kosher Way impossible okay what about the kosher animals the kosher animals the ones that have those two signs are the only species in creation that also have another sign but a sign that we needed signs to find out those animals also have the two veins but the interesting part about them is that right before they go to the brain they connect and become one vein so when the when the slaughterer cuts that vein he's only cutting one vein which means it's instant disconnect from the brain by the time the the little bit of blood that's left at the end of that vein reaches the brain the animal is already passed out and dead which means that in less than a millisecond the animal is no longer with us it cannot suffer so you ask yourself so how is it that the legs still move for a little bit or the uh Wing moves the nerves exactly there's nerves so it's just like for example if you put your uh if there's an electric outlet even though you uh sometimes you'll take out the uh an equipment out of it if sometimes you'll touch the equipment you still get
