As we approach for this Mesa
Pesach
is around the corner.
So I will remind you the head of the
Kailash. I don't know if you remember
the Mesa over 10 years ago.
So this sheet is started off in Blue
Ridge
as many of you know.
Maybe I can take this opportunity to
thank
the Kailash
and all the Shul in Blue Ridge who
invited us
and how the Yeshiva is going to happen
in the right direction.
I'll call him. He was days before
Pesach.
Erev Shabbos
right before Shabbos Hagadol
and I was sitting in my office there in
Blue Ridge.
The janitorial staff little office there
and
the janitor of the Yeshiva was cleaning
up for Pesach
came into the office
and said that there are in the freezer
about 10 or 12 challahs
from the Blue Ridge Shul.
Shall we shoot this?
What should he do with the challahs?
Shabbos Hagadol, I told him throw it all
in the garbage.
So I told him they're not my challahs.
They belong to the Shul. Let me call
someone who would tell me.
So I called him and Bella who then was
Isaac, maybe still is, in the Shul and
kiddush and things like that. So Isaac
Bella said, "Don't throw it out. I'm
going to come in a few minutes
and I'll find someone here in Blue Ridge
who would want to use the challahs
before I throw it in the garbage."
I can say a couple of minutes later I
hear some noise in the kitchen and it's
Isaac Bella and he's taking all the
challahs.
Maybe 20 minutes later he comes back
into the office and he says, "Let me
reset and tell you a story.
I'm walking outside. I'm thinking who
could use these challahs?
And right here right here in the shul
lived lives Rabbi Kalish. He said, you
know Rabbi Kalish is always a person who
has guests, always
Shabbos
bachurim
guests. So I said, let me see maybe he
could use this house.
So I walk into the house
holding these 10 or so challahs and I
turn to Rabbi Kalish and say, can you
use these challahs for Shabbos?
And Rabbi Kalish turns to his wife and
he says, you see?
You see?
So Aaron Bella asks Rabbi Kalish, my
hive, what's mate you see?
So he said, literally minutes ago my
wife came in here
upset that she burnt all of the challahs
and there's so many guests coming for
Shabbos and now the store Kosher World
was already closed. What are we going to
do? We don't have challahs for Shabbos
Hagadol. Nobody has challahs for Shabbos
Hagadol.
And Rabbi Kalish told his wife, you'll
see, the Ribono Shel Olam will take
care.
The Ribono Shel Olam will take care,
don't worry. Something's going to
happen. Don't ask me what, something's
going to happen. Three minutes later in
walks in Rabbi Bella, challahs for
Shabbos? Do you want challahs here? Can
you use 10 challahs?
This was the maiseh sheya kachoya. I
heard this from Rabbi Aaron Bella who
told it to me literally minutes after
this story happened.
A interesting maiseh l'kovid chodesh
Nissan, l'kovid l'kovid Pesach k'vodo
leinu.
To introduce Rabbi Kalish, I think of
the Mishnah
of ohev es ham'locha u'soinei es
harabonus.
Zichrono l'vracha, Rabbi Avraham Chaim
Levin
asked, so if you're ohev es ham'locha,
you're meant to love to work, but soinei
es harabonus
he used to joke, it doesn't mean you
should hate your rav. That's not what it
means soinei es harabonus. Soinei es
harabonus means pashtus, You should hate
the position of your bonus.
So, he asked who are going to be the
opponent. David signed the opponent.
So, he ties that I say the mission is
talking to a rab is talking to anyone
who's in with the seaborne. Have you
only with some you should not love the
malacha of the rabbonus. The son of
rabbonus means you should hate the
rabbonus of the rabbonus. You should
hate the frag, the misery one,
the the comment that comes with the
rabbonus that you should love the work
and the help and the ability to enhance
and to inspire and to educate others.
So, we should do something. Thank you
very much for coming
and sharing words of inspiration.
We all know Rabbi Kless is always with
us. It's my cover desk of Kless to
address us.
Good morning. Thank you to the Russia
Shiva for the kind words and thank you
for
for inviting me. I want to express that
I have a tremendous appreciation. This
this holy Yeshiva and it's a holy makom.
I the I've been here now twice. Both at
the end of zmanim. I came at the end of
the summer zmanim, I believe last maybe
the last day. Is that true, Mr. I think
Mr. was on his way already
to to the to the Yeshiva up state.
And I was here in both. I don't know
what secret is here, but at the end of
S'man and I've been here other times.
But I've spoken here twice.
And both times it it it doesn't feel
like late in the S'man.
This is like a partial the way the world
is happening and there's an energy in
the room. Feels like it's going to start
snowing again partial. It feels dead in
the middle of the winter. There's I
don't know what the secret is. But you
could sense being here there's a chaos.
There's an energy. This doesn't feel
like the
And and I've seen the S'man. I've seen
Yaakov. This man was a good S'man.
You almost think maybe the world started
late for some reason, but it's not that
way. And and things are being done right
here that there's so much chaos this
late in the S'man. I saw this last year
on the last day of the S'man.
That there's so much chaos, so much
energy and
just a beautiful Torah. So but I
specifically appreciate my nephew has
come here a fact. He's comfortable when
he's staying. He's being successful in
his learning.
So that that curse to a place, to a
Torah.
I should appreciate any Torah. And I
want to be on that
to walk in 10 minutes. Certainly we try.
We all try.
But a Torah that your nephew, that my
nephew, who I love is my brother's son.
And has come here and is successful,
happy and successful.
My friend Rubin, we're friends for many
many for many many many years. His son
Yaakov as well.
He's come here and again he's happy and
successful.
Successful in his learning. It's a
beautiful Torah that I appreciate a lot.
And I thank the
I thank the
the rebellion all the the
it's a beautiful place. It's amazing. So
close.
I'm always in the
near water by any beautiful places there
are.
And I'm talking about the beautiful
physical place. You drive a few minutes.
I like animals and farms and it's all
over the place, but that's a beautiful
backdrop to this. That's a backdrop, but
right near you could drive. It's not a
beautiful drive.
But then it's right nearby there's a
yeshiva, people sitting and learning
Torah.
Happy and successful. What a beautiful
market of Torah. So I thank Hashem and I
thank all the
Hashem. Of course I thank Hashem and the
heaven.
So there's a beautiful shaft here. And
the way guys are good teachers, they're
clearly I'm seeing the Torah that I care
a lot about that they're happy and
comfortable. It's a beautiful market of
Torah. Really everybody here should
continue to learn Torah and shine in
Hashem's Torah. This yeshiva should
continue to have tremendous success.
I want to try to learn the two sections
in the parsha. One for sure, but we'll
see, maybe we'll get to the second
possible. I want to learn a parsha for a
few minutes. And something that hits me
on this parsha.
The parsha [clears throat] in
says that
Hashem gave the Torah to
Moses. Moses gave the Torah.
They collected, there was a collection
in in the midbar for the for the
Mishkan.
And of course of course
it was a tremendous generosity.
And they didn't give crazy amounts. They
didn't just giving everything they had
for Hashem. That's our way, that's the
way of Hashem. To the point they have to
make an announcement. I've never seen
this on any fundraising campaign. There
has to be an announcement. They have to
call
stop it. Enough enough. Amazing parsha.
And then the Torah expresses that the
stuff that was collected
with the parsha. The parsha is a little
difficult to read, but the
Torah was sufficient. It was
everything that was collected was enough
to construct a Mishkan. The highest
there but there was extra as well.
And our Hamakodesh
Zion has a much nice it was like exact.
They mix some is exact was Zion.
So Malachi is the Zion means what they
collected for the Mishkan was my mission
was exact and nice.
Zion it was it headed it was exact but
then the possible says highest there
there was extra.
So the Hamakodesh asked what others
there mind that asked it but I saw at
first in Hamakodesh he says if it was
highest there if it was extra wasn't
Zion if it was Zion was nice there's two
different things. Zion means it nailed
it was exact.
So the they might as well collected and
it was the exact amount that was needed
for the Mishkan.
But then it says it was highest there
there was extra so say they collected
and there was extra. What's our shame
saying there was the exact and it was
extra? That's the Hamakodesh is.
So the Hamakodesh teaches us that a nice
happened.
There was really extra. They collected
and there was much more than necessary.
And then Hashem made a nice when they
put together when Betzalel and his and
the people working for Betzalel put
everything together it was Zion and a
nice happened it was the exact amount
there wasn't one extra item. The MS
there was more than enough
but a nice happened that it was exact.
What was the purpose the miracle? What's
the purpose of this nice?
And the Russian a possible that first it
was Zion then it was highest there the
way the Hamakodesh is telling us first
it was highest there.
Afterwards it should become Zion the
Torah Hashem says it was Zion. The
hoiser.
It was first extra then there was a nice
the first thing that was extra.
So,
I want to express like this.
Hashem's not just Hashem didn't make a
nice to like teach us something.
Like really there was extra but let's
teach that everybody's donations are
necessary.
It's not a teaching it's an emes a
truth.
Hashra'as Hashkina comes when Klal
Yisrael builds a Mishkan.
It's not just the Mishkan it's Klal
Yisrael building the Mishkan. Klal
Yisrael being busy. Klal Yisrael
donating each one what they have to the
Mishkan.
And Hashra'as Hashkina comes when every
single person builds.
So, the dayam is the spiritual truth is
the emes is the ruchniyus truth. It was
dayam it was exact.
There wasn't one extra thing every
single person's amount and things they
can give are necessary. Every. There's
not an extra in our people. So, the
malach what everybody brought and gave
with their sincerity with what they can
afford with what made sense for them to
give dayam. That caused the exact
Hashra'as Hashkina.
In in in the oifen gashmi there was
hoiser there was extra. Then why did
Hashem do that?
Hashem could
make it be that that's exact what
everybody gave and that's what was
needed. But that's how the world our
world looks.
It reflects the truth the emes.
In our world it sometimes looks
that what a person has is this really
necessary? That's how our world will
always look. Every yeshiva every
community and the entirety of our
people.
There'll always be a physical sense this
guy davening so loud that he schmacked
my pillow. This guy learns this guy's
success. They'll always be a sense of
tighter with this extras.
And and also and also ran person. It's
not the emes.
Our physical world and the
representation reflect exactly the
representation of the giving to the
mishkan.
It looked in a physical The emes is it
was diamond. The emes is exactly what
every single person needs. Gave is
needed for
Hashem. There's no extras.
And that's what happened and that was
the emes, the truth that every single
yids
I pray that every single yids
giving to kodesh is exactly needed for
Hashem. There are no extras in Am
Yisrael. We don't have extras in our
people.
We're in middle of a massive from the
most unusual thing in our lives. We're
in middle of a massive with many saying
in Yisrael for decades and decades. Even
arena, there's a massive going on that's
hard. We need to ask our
Am Yisrael
to to push and explain. There's a
massive going on in the world. It's It's
not It's something different.
And and it seems in an unusual way other
countries taking care of pushing Pushing
Hashem sending us for people that were
threatening Am Yisrael.
And there's a a lot of things going on
in the world. But the start of this war
was a couple of years where Hashem
taught us that we have no extras in our
people.
That each person in Am Yisrael counts.
The entire Am Yisrael was davening for
Hashem.
And we absorbed at the start of this
whole unusual situation. We absorbed at
the start the lesson directly from
Hashem. All of Klal Yisrael were
thinking about Yidden amongst our
people.
That every person counts. We don't have
extras in our people. There's no other
nation. There's no strategy in battle to
kidnap. There's no such thing. Russia
and Ukraine are fighting. I asked my
mother who's a history Miss I don't know
if my grandmother's a history major. I
asked her in wars I guess her about
this. It's never been a battle tactic to
kidnap. There are POWs. There's such a
thing of prisoner of war. That's a
derech agav.
It's not the strategy of war.
If the Russia's fighting Ukraine, nobody
cuz what's the difference? I'll take
one, you'll take one. There's no
strategy in war to take hostage. There's
no such thing cuz it doesn't do
anything. You take one to say they're
okay, we'll take one of yours. Shkoyach.
There's no soldier of a hostage. There's
only one people. You don't need an army
to fight. Take a Yid and we shut down.
There's one people. It's an emes.
It's not a The would scratch even
when they when afterwards this is
There's one people. You don't need an
army to fight Klal Yisrael.
Somebody starts up with the Yid. We we
shut down. We don't know what to do.
We have no extras in our people. And
this is from this whole situation we're
in, the sheer the sheer that we're in
middle of absorbing. Hashem's love of
Klal Yisrael. Hashem taking care of Klal
Yisrael. Nisim shein kamoyu. Ballistic
missiles anywhere in the world, people
check out Russia Ukraine. Don't look up.
I'll tell you. In Russia and Ukraine
it's already a million people have been
have been killed.
It's already a million human beings.
From the same weapons with better
defense systems, better armies.
And in Eretz Yisrael it's different.
It's different than one is too many and
we've lost.
But Nissan
Nissan that are not It's It's It's
mind-boggling miracles happening.
There's a sheer clothing on Hashem's
love of Am Yisrael. That's what we're in
the middle of mamesh. We're seeing
something unheard of in the world. In
the rest of the world, ballistic
missiles cause tremendous loss of lives.
Hundreds of thousands A million people
with the same weapons, the exact same
weapons with better defense systems.
And by Yidden, it's different. Shamayim
Talking turns out, we say Hashem is a
shomer on Am Yisrael. It's emes. Sham
protects Klal Yisrael. But the sheer
clothing that the Ribono shel Olam we're
in the middle of receiving Hashem's love
of Klal Yisrael.
This sheer started at the yechidim. One.
One, just one. Each one counts and
matters. And this lesson of Malachei
HaSadeh, especially in the stark issue
where a bochur maybe could feel He looks
around, so many going and so many
masmidim, so many stark. He could say,
"Okay, so where Where's my thing fitting
here?" Each one, each yachid, kol yachid
v'yachid. A Malachei HaSadeh, it was
exact. Each person's contribution, this
person, he's not as he he he he's he's
his own his own sincerity, his own
efforts, his own story, his own koachus.
A Malachei HaSadeh, every single one is
necessary for hashra'as haShchinah.
We're not a people with extras.
Each one counts. Each one's avodas
Hashem is a unique light to bring, a
unique shine, a unique neshama that
brings a unique
unique point that is necessary for
hashra'as haShchinah.
That's a Malachei HaSadeh. Of course,
b'derech hateiva, it twice It like
they're extras. That's how Hashem
designed the world.
Is that a nisyun that exists? Our
physical world that it looks like there
are people that are extra that it pisses
This I'm not sure what it brings. It
looks heiser. It's not that way.
So, that's this first pasuk I wanted to
study.
I wanted to study a second pasuk that
in a similar just in a very in a similar
I think it's own it's own kineged
at earlier in the parsha. So, that's
also a very difficult pasuk to read.
We're going to read it with the help of
the Ramban. The pasuk says vayavo kol
ish asher nisah libo
says and they brought every single
person who had a sius ha'lev brought
>> [clears throat]
>> doesn't say what they brought yet.
V'chol asher nadavah ruachai and each
person who had a nedivas ruach a
generous spirit brought trumas Hashem.
The Ramban describes this pasuk that
when they were collecting in the mid in
the midbar the Ribono shel Olam asked
Klal Yisrael to donate for the Mishkan
two things happened.
Generous people gave things.
Generous people very Klal Yisrael has a
nedivus nedivas ruach. We have a a sense
of we have neshamos. We want to give.
The neshama just wants to give. That's
what the neshama is and does.
Pashech chelek Elokai mimmal and the
neshama wants to give.
So, there was a nedivas ruach.
Tremendous generous spirit in Klal
Yisrael. And when the Ribono shel Olam
asked for donations, we were mamish
giving everything. Mamish giving tons.
But a separate thing happened, says the
Ramban. There was a nisyus ha'lev. There
was a gaiva. A gaiva d'kedusha.
Vayigbah libo b'darkei Hashem. There was
a gaiva d'kedusha. And the gaiva
d'kedusha's people showed up. They gave
themselves.
They didn't give things. They gave
themselves.
They said, "I'm here. I want to build
with you, my baby. You need me. You want
me." The
that's in the house I leave. That's a
guy with the
recognition I am wanted.
You could give things and you could give
the self. I once heard from a very
intelligent [snorts] thinker.
If the guy I don't know if this is an
exercise. Did you ever meet somebody who
was like spoiled? You held it like such
a spoiled guy.
I would tell you maybe to visualize
somebody and to think of this. You would
maybe don't do that. I'm not sure.
If you ever met a spoiled kid, he's
spoiled.
This is what a thinker a person I I had
a
to say on a say on a spoiled kid. He
said a spoiled kid doesn't get yeses
gets a no.
I think a spoiled kid only gets yeses.
The father the mother
gives the kid everything and says no
noes just says yes. So that's not a
spoiled child. He said we all every
parent we all
have noes and yeses. We all somebody
says yes to noes but we all have noes.
This person and it rings true to me
said a spoiled child is why doesn't the
parent ever say no?
What is this? It's normal to say no
sometimes. What's this parent never
saying no? Every human being has a line
wherever it might be at certain point to
say no.
He said a spoiled child is the great no.
If you're not giving yourself, the
father may be crazy busy and he's
running around. So he feels guilty.
So he gives things instead of giving
himself.
It's the great no the no of giving
yourself. That's what this observed that
the spoiled child got a very big no. The
father or the parent didn't give himself
and gave stuff in lieu of self.
But always the but when the
tells [clears throat] us his mitzvahs
and mitzvahs
The
says our way says the
the giver that Hashem wants us to have.
So I don't just want things from you. I
want you from you. I want you, the
person, the man shall lay the person
himself Hashem wants.
And to the Mishkan there was an
generous spirit of giving things.
There was a
giver giving oneself. People showed up.
Hashem wants me. Here I'm here. They
asked, "Moshe, let me let me build
something. Let me make something. Here I
am."
And this this
all of Hashem
Hashem wants us. Hashem doesn't want he
wants my my story of
my putting on my own journey my own
my own challenges my own struggles.
Hashem doesn't want he wants our Torah.
He wants our mitzvah.
We had a mason the home we had a mason a
few weeks I didn't even tell the son of
the story. So I'm here to tell you the
story in the son. We had a mason the
home a few weeks ago very jarring story
that I want to share with you and this
Hashem wants our mitzvah. The
our way the giver to know we're wanted.
Our
called
the
own sincere struggle difficulty success
our
not the mitzvah our mitzvah.
My son a few weeks ago my son had a had
a saver that he he
brought his film to the safer to check
his film.
He brought his film to the safer.
About three weeks ago someone brings his
film to the safer to check.
Uh whether you should check, shouldn't
speak to rabbeim, speak to people who
know, it's complicated. When they open
it up, it's it's it's a struggle to
close the tefillin. But, my son puts on
in the mishpacha like every year his
tefillin
is a mitzvah that's that's big in our
family. It's important to come to
mitzvah of tefillin.
When you travel on a trip, when you go
when you go somewhere with the family
goes like every Yiddishe mishpacha,
you travel like I'm a forgetful guy.
So, I count. I make sure all my kids are
there. Why should I can forget anything?
I I have to make sure
I count the numbers. I know the numbers.
Baruch Hashem, I count. And then I look
at the tefillin. I very much appreciate
I've been zocheh to put tefillin, to buy
tefillin, to the beautiful simcha of
halachas tefillin for children. So, we
have five pairs of tefillin in our
family right now. So, you count
everything else. We're missing pants,
we'll buy wherever we go. We're missing
shirts, we'll buy this
You can get everything anyway. I'm not
nervous. The tefillin that you
you you travel to everybody's there and
our tefillin are here.
And the mitzvah of tefillin that I I
want if if my children if if if a person
is onus of shidduch, well, I'm going to
put on my own hide somewhere. Put on
tefillin mamesh. Tefillin are not
tefillin. We show our tefillin. Don't
hide. Put on proudly. Proudly mamesh. I
ask in yeshiva. I ask in yeshiva bachur
come to I'm not here every yeshiva is
not on chug. But, I ask put on tefillin.
Don't hide. Put on in the base medrash.
If it's mid-afternoon, come to the base
medrash, put on tefillin. I want to I
try in yeshiva all the time to wear
tefillin by mincha. This way nobody's
shamed. Put on your tefillin beside the
gom.
Put tefillin, precious tefillin. My son
sends his tefillin to the safer
and gets a call. And we each one we
spent a lot of money on Baruch Hashem.
The Arizal it says
be careful to spend money on mitzvahs.
To spend money.
Important you do a mitzvah. You momish
you spend on it. It's It's important a
mitzvah.
So
So my kid we spent good money on the
tefillin. But dafka his tefillin I
wanted to for a safer. The dafka was a
person I admire a lot. Tell me I don't
have a perfect handwriting. He said you
know that's sad. From the big talmudic
scholar in the country. And I wanted him
to write this kill. I momish spent all
money.
So the bottom line is that he brings the
safer. The safer calls him back the next
day.
He says I'm not giving you parshas back.
So you know they're my parshas. He said
not that they're possul that you were
tricked.
They're not worth anything. I I don't
want them in circulation. You never put
tefillin on it any your life.
Seven years.
My wife was sick. Momish sick. Momish he
called up. Said I haven't put tefillin
on in seven years. My wife was sick.
Physically sick. He couldn't eat.
Couldn't sleep.
I wasn't sick. I didn't I'm first of all
very visual. If I don't see I couldn't
It wasn't true by me. It wasn't and I
knew who I got it from. It's not true.
I couldn't I couldn't grasp it. My son
was very very distraught over this.
And put on tefillin.
And my wife was sick over it.
Lema'aseh he my son was grappling what
just happened. He just found out he
didn't put tefillin on in seven years.
That's it.
And his tefillin's important. And he
puts on He's put on in cases people
would hide. My sister once called me a
family gathering. Even momish was
wearing his tefillin. He's not hiding
from His tefillin's big by him. He's
putting on tefillin. Very important.
Here safer says devastating.
And my son Mamish came to a place he was
very hurt, but he came to a place I I
put on the seven years I was Mamish, but
he came to a beautiful place that Hashem
wants me.
I put on filling with the kavana with
the right with intentions I could have.
He came that day he like came to a
simcha like a place.
Like a simcha like a place.
Into the next day the safer called back.
It wasn't your filling the kosher with
the Hadarim. Yes,
I say okay. So they gave us
a day of interesting avodah
that the safer gave us.
That he next stopped he's so sorry
somebody else had bought it from a
machine somebody who I don't know what
happened. Okay.
This stuff happens. People are human
they make mistakes.
The filling were beautiful. The parshas
were beautiful.
But um
But that day we got to absorb and
there's an emes to what my son was like
was working on and coming to is an emes.
And it brought out everything's exact is
Hashgacha and it brought out something.
It brought out something very stark.
Hashem wants filling.
Not an emes [clears throat] there's an
asias Hashem wants your filling he wants
my filling.
It's true. It wasn't like
it's true it's not it wasn't like a
teretz to cheer yourself up but there's
an emes that my whole family was brought
to an emes.
That Hashem wants of course of course we
make every effort of course the filling
should be mahudar of course.
But he wants my filling my avodah my
putting on filling the asias avodah the
gaavah. The gaavah the gashmius
that Hashem doesn't want filling he
wants your filling he wants my filling.
Hashem wants our learning with our
Torah. Hashem wants our to have that
there's a place and a space for art
feeling each person. Sham doesn't want
feeling, wants my feeling, wants your
feeling. He wants our feeling.
The people who had this this there's a
generous spirit to give to the Mishkan.
And we need that generosity and that
giving and we have that now in Israel.
Our beautiful people have a sense we
want to give things to Hashem.
But deeper yet we have a Nesiya Shalev,
a guy with Kedusha and Tahara that
Hashem wants us to show up to the
Kodesh, show up to the Mishkan. Hashem
wants what we have to offer that comes
from us. That's connected to us, the
giving of self. The giving of oneself
that each person with our quirks, with
our challenges, with our our things that
we have that everybody of course but of
course has.
But that's why the Kol Yachid V'Yachid
is significant and matters.
So the Ribono shel Olam should be
mezakeh this holy yeshiva. This yeshiva
that I feel so much gratitude that my
nephew and son are
thriving tremendously, they're happy,
successful and comfortable. The Ribono
shel Olam should be mezakeh this yeshiva
that Kol Yachid V'Yachid should have
this Nesiya Shalev, this Ga'ava and
Kedusha.
My Afikoman, my feeling, my Torah, my
Afikoman, my matzah. Sham doesn't want
matzah, wants your matzah, my matzah.
Each one, every person at the Seder. I
was zocheh last year. A Yid came to the
Seder we don't know. Don't know who he
is. Probably you know you know him or
love him, we don't know. A Yid came to
the Seder, a Yid. He was sitting very
quietly, clearly about his own.
He's at a Seder. I I don't know who he
is. He came to the Seder.
And he was quiet, he was a very quiet
Yid.
And he was singing with us, beautiful
Yid, older Yid.
I asked the kasha I tried to say the
vart I'm always good. It's beautiful to
say that we retire. That's not I'm not
trying to say Vartema but say that I
want to I want to be with my family
together. We want to just get out of the
same together. Try to be present. Try to
just be present to what's happening. Try
to absorb what's what's going on that
and then try to like talk together and
relate and figure out a little bit.
And we come we read in the bottom of the
hill
of the desert we say
Our fathers are we saying that we
desert? It turns out our fathers only
one of them of him.
It says are we saying plural like that I
don't know but I don't know but I think
it's plural.
It should say our father not our
fathers.
What's our fathers? Only one of them
was living in the desert. What's our
fathers? We're trying to figure it out.
Tell us not our father.
Tell us not we don't come from Tara.
Tara is Abraham's father. We
We have Abraham of the Tata. Tell us
what I'm saying. Tell us not our father.
We all stuck.
Everybody is asking. We were like Mom is
stuck. This year has a savior that he is
thinking. We got stuck. We went a little
further. Then the kid spoke up for the
first time at the savior. Kid speaks up.
And the kid says one second he says
He says tonight we became our mission.
Tonight Mom is becoming right now.
Our mission tonight we
are going to be carried out. It's the
mission. That's Pesach night. Tonight we
are mission.
He said the kid
Tara was our father. It's only because
of tonight he's not our father. The kid
said
They were in the desert was also our
mission. The kid was going on our
mission in the desert.
He said Tara is not our father because
of tonight. But the kid
Tara was the Tata.
It was goosebumps. It's not a word. The
guy he like he like felt this flow. We
became hidden tonight. That terrorist
not our father. That happened tonight.
With
the
other side of the same terror
before tonight if not for tonight if not
the latest we became hidden.
My whole table became hidden that night.
We like became terrorist not our father.
It's not a it's not a verb. It's just
what happened tonight. A year of quiet
year
sitting at the seder we're all hacking.
A year alone lay low seder alone.
Came to somebody else's seder by the
sermon.
That wound you taught us with my
machine. I
had goosebumps.
It was just right.
We became hidden tonight.
It was obvious terror was our father.
Tonight he's not.
We became hidden now now stop to our
whole who we are our whole identity has
changed.
>> [clears throat]
>> A year one year quiet year by the sermon
gifted to us all to everybody at that
seder. He gifted to us a material that
he just was the year was right. We had
moved on already. We didn't have a
terror. We couldn't we didn't know.
We moved on.
But this year gave us a great gift.
>> [snorts]
>> And this gift that each year counts and
is significant.
Each year has an importance and a place
and a tremendous place. That's that's
the gift that all of us should be
very
for us all to recognize in ourselves to
feel this on ourselves to be managed
both in this issue but
all
all of our nation all of our people.
Every single year everywhere should be
that we need every year. We should see
it for ourselves and see it in others.
Have a good Shabbos and thank you very
much.
>> See you at 10:10.
