information wasn't shared from the context of the letter it seems it was probably the name of a school because it seems that she was in the field of education and she lost that position probably a teaching job um that's what it seems from Context and now you are left without a job or without a position okay so basically a woman wrote to the rebba that she lost her position probably a teaching position and um she's writing for some type of support advice blessing okay so that de's response like I said again like this is a very short letter but a very rich letter and if you don't unpack it there and don't touch it for long enough you you come out ahead right but that's the nature of life that you you want and you are able to ascend which means you're not static you're not just going to play it safe and stay where you're at okay so when there's growth part of growth like a a natural part of growth the way the world works is that there are dips and and you come back from those and and and you experience a net gain after the The Comeback but you do temporarily have to go through certain setbacks okay um the spoiled so don't get shaken by the don't get nervous from this to become despondent about this God forbid when you have a like again the rebba says this is just the nature of life we we go through dips that's part of growth it's part of growth okay okay so till now that I was saying in general life is about growth and growth entails sometimes temporary setbacks just part of it so that's in general now that de says meaning more particular to your situation first thing your particular urita that you had is was only material you lost your job and me God forbid it could have been a spiritual descent now even a spiritual descent you come back from and you have the special advantage of which is a beautiful thing but in the in the grand scheme of things when you're going through the Ura it's not as big of a deal if you're going through a material you read what did you lose you lost you lost Financial Security basically is what the saying sounds like like to me and even more specifically the matter is not dependent on you or rather not dep the matter is not dependent upon her uh meaning to say you're not in control anyways so it's it's a Ura that there's nothing you can do about anyways so just you know get through it get past it and and eventually you'll be at a place where you will have experienced a net gain and and that's it that's really all there is to it it's just part of life it's part of life okay so that's the first paragraph now that it goes deeper and you could feel it if you if you listen and you go slowly you could feel the tone go to a deeper level and to the contrary you know that's like a pivot word so theb just said don't worry about it it's it's natural it's it's part of life you go through these sense and in order to eventually come to Greater asense it's just part of growth don't worry about okay now it's not only don't worry about it it's embrace it now embrace it embrace it Embrace what okay this descent The Descent when you go through a tough phase in life it will arouse deeper power Powers more inner powers and deeper Powers so more inner powers of am of faith and trust in hem and deeper powers of of faith and trust in Hashem and what you know those are very abstract Concepts deep inner faith and trust what does that look like how do you express that um so it's out W expression it's when you show courage and resilience in the face of an unpleasant experience especially because it's really only temporary so embrace it while it's happening it's not fun to go through it the rebba calls it an unpleasant experience the re is acknowledging it's unpleasant but going through this unpleasant experience will actually put you at a higher level spiritually which would then you will Express emotionally as a certain form of resilience and and and bravery and and courage so really you're Faith okay so for that we need a shepher of faith and that is the role of a and a what we call in the the extension of so that's the role of aab it's interesting so I got to give credit to my friend Le who was like the main driver behind at least for me personally getting me to do these classes every day um he pointed this out to me that the first paragraph is that EBA as a teacher a teacher hey this is the nature of life let me inform you you didn't know that life is like this I'm going to teach you life is like this there are ups and downs and you got to go through the downs and then you'll experience the ups and it'll all be okay don't get nervous that's a teacher the second level though and it's a deeper level is the is the shepherd of Faith where the rebba then takes this experience and uses it as an opportunity for this woman the letter writer to get in touch with a deeper place within herself a deeper level of connection to Hashem a deeper God consciousness so you and it has to go in that order specifically because it's like first I'm informing you it's it's going to be fine don't worry about it like that's the nature of life okay fine that's regular information then we can go deeper we're going to say now let's lean into it let's gain something from this not just that if you'll go through it at the end you'll come out ahead but even in the darkness you can gain because
