[music] One of the greatest gifts that we have is the gift of Shabas. And indeed, our rabbis call [music] it a gift in Hashem's storehouse. He reserved it specifically and specially for us. This gift of Shabas is not [music] so that we can rest and get back to the rest of the week. In fact, the whole purpose of the entire week is [music] to count not down but count up to be ready for Shabas. We say in our Davin that Shabas is tlless of the mice. Shabas is the goal. It is the essence. It's what we're working towards. Imagine somebody builds a house, spends time with an architect, with a contractor, earns the money in order to be able to purchase and pay for [music] the land and for the house. They build an entire house and they never enjoy it. They never enter it. All week long, we work so hard. We earn. We accumulate. And the tac, the purpose, the essence of it all is for the gift of Shabas. Shabas is not so that we rest and rejuvenate so we can go back to work another week. We work an entire week for the payoff, the payday, for the gift of Shabas. Raza the Shabas. That is the secret sauce of Shabas. The Shabas is the essence. Shabas. We disconnect from the world around us, from the chaos, from the temptations, from the to-do list, from all of the distractions. We disconnect in order to connect to what matters, ourselves, our families, [music] and the Almighty. There's no greater essence, no greater tacas, no greater payday than that. So, let's accept and receive the gift of Shabas. Let's work all week to build that house, but also enter it and enjoy it to be able to tap into the secret and the majesty that is Shabas. [music]
