Shabbat is a Hospital for the Soul

The insight of the Baal Shem Tov is that Shabbos is a hospital for the soul in which all of the different types of sicknesses, whether it's the hedonist materialist, whether it's the person who lost the capacity to feel, whether it's the person filled with rage and resentment, and whether it is the seeker after truth, will find a connection to Hakadosh Baruch Hu on the day of Shabbos. And it was the Baal Shem Tov's Ruach Hakodesh that saw in these physical archetypes, or these physical examples, archetypes of the various >> [snorts] >> feelings and the various voids that we feel, which call us to seek out Hashem on the day of Shabbos.
