Senator Weber on The First Day of The 2026 Legislative Session

Hi, this is State Senator Bill Weber and we're back in Albany today to begin the 2026 legislative session. We had a great year last year. We had 12 of our bills signed into law by Governor Hokll. We were able to be a part of bringing back historic education aid back to our district to all of our schools and we want to keep that momentum going this year. We also need to deal with the affordability crisis that's going on not only in Rockland County but throughout our state. So, those are going to be major goals that we need to finish this legislative cycle. Look forward to seeing you back in the district, but we're back to our hard work in Albany starting today.
