example so it's not only an academic this academic um frank holds like this hillman who's a famous was a famous person legendary um tamukham that was a kanoi but he was prolific also he's one of the people that worked on various projects such as the shapzi franco rambam the maftahis and the text it was a big bucky and all different things tremendous time put out many russian he went through very carefully the rashi marcotte and he says rashford cotton is not arashi he comes a conclusion it's vice he says it might even be uh moritz was the one who worked on it because there's too many theorists you say the final editor let me say could be this really that some parish is not a problem but someone tampered with it a lot and that person um he says but what is the rashi this edition copy of kufrin's edition you could go to hebrew books they have it it was printed by muhammad a different time maybe we'll talk about it okay art scroll shas anders bahadur on the side of their gemara have rashi mix of what's the the only difference is art school says that it's from kofir doesn't i don't know why not maybe early editions is how they did i'm not sure a friend of mine told me that he wrote to rachael kaniewski about about that he saw in a gemara that used kufifer's edition without thanking him and it gave our cars a tie to kankarievsky so kiwi had some type of taino to a crying can he asked him yes wrote him i have nothing to do with the decisions what goes on in the printing of the gemara but the point is that these good island these kosher people felt that rashi is is from because of um time but i just i just want to ask three three four more points about it um so you would think 1961 this guy proves it he proves it very well and cipher deals with it and and what's his name emma davidson you think you'll be finished the story is over no story's not over of course various people who um check and death at least three four different academics went through this billion and they came to the conclusions it's not and they okay fine then then a work came out namish in in this is in 2007 a fellow from barryland went and he went through this sugiya of rashiya marikatambil mentioned was 1480s and then the 1520s was there any other editions so it seemed this was called a bibliographical mystery they didn't know and then suddenly in 1970 they knew something but they weren't sure and then amazing discovery was discovered of a bunch of fragment pieces of pieces of gemara that printed in places in spanish countries in spanish places that were not known up till now what was interesting is that these this is in the 1480s and it might even been the earliest printing of the talmud um just we didn't know about it because the mama sure almost all destroyed because right then these hidden in portugal and everything they had to they were chased out of their lands so so almost everything was destroyed miraculously they discovered stuff what happened is these gemara pieces that they have some of them have rashi on the side and it turns out it's very dima to the kuffer rashi so you say there was there's further evidence that this rashi existed and the the italian the italian printers the heiner sensino and bramberg when they printed it in the 1480s and 1520s they didn't know about this rashi for some reason but anyway okay this was a discovery based on works of uh of a fellow heimdae mitrovsky and this yaka fox deals with it at length now just to end this thing um this part of the discussion there's a fellow joseph keller he put out arashi on my cotton also based on kufr and more it's also available in hebrew books um and his rashi and the last step the last point of arashi to conclude with this because it's just very interesting i read i reached out to there's some academics in bariland that have made some incredible i called science fiction programs that they are able to identify based it has to meet certain criteria but they're able
