[Music] hello and welcome my name is Dr schnitzel and today we have our amazing helpers we have Alberta ham we have Jack we have Joey and we have David what's going why is David wearing Dr schnitzel's green hair how did it get on top of your hair it's supposed to be on top of Dr schnitzel's head not on top of David's head oh now we could start hmm look what we have over here I have Coca-Cola classic everybody can you say Coca-Cola classic I can't hear you say Coca-Cola classic yeah Coca-Cola now if I take this and I shake it what do you think is gonna happen oh if we shake it and we open it up oh it's gonna make a big mess should we do that hold on to this what happens if I take water and we shake it and we open it up do you think it's gonna explode oh here I want you to take this and shake it really really hard faster faster faster yes take it shake it really really hard and fast good and now let's have you try it yes shake it really really fast and now should we open it up okay I'm gonna open it up should we open it up on top of his head okay let's open it up nothing happened why didn't anything happen does anybody know because there's no gases there's no gas inside for one Coca-Cola classic that made it carbon dioxide gas who remembers the dry ice video Everybody Go ah again we breathe in oxygen and we breathe out carbon dioxide that's right they take the carbon dioxide gas and they put it inside the Coca-Cola classic and when we open it up it comes flying up does anybody know how we cough carbon dioxide gas it's called CO2 should we take this and shake it up and see what kind of explosion we can get with the carbon dioxide gas CO2 Inside Yes okay I'm gonna have take it give it a good Shake higher lower yeah oh now this over here is actually Dr Pepper before we had Coca-Cola classic let's see if Dr Pepper is going to go even higher Go Jack okay give it a big Shake give it a big shake shake shake yes faster faster good good now David go give it a good Shake high low up and down yeah oh don't throw it okay now one second I could actually take it and we could use it like a Lula that our right side then a left eye up down up okay you ready for it take it I'm sorry I'm sorry about that ah [Laughter] a oh no it's coming out the wave factories put gas in soda is they use carbon dioxide here we have something called a soda stream we have a bottle with some water inside it's plain water you open it up there's no gas that comes inside then we have over here a soda stream machine let me show you how it works you open the back and right over here we have a carbon dioxide container right that's coming up over here and as we put this inside like this let's see if we can do it properly there you go see we go like this and we turn it like that more and more and more just like that beautiful then we go like this and now what we have to do is we have to press this and let's see what happens let's see if you can hear this [Music] I think this is good now what we got to do is you gotta go like this and we gotta open it up like this and look what we have over here we have yummy Seltzer take your cups everybody let's take a cup and let's see who knows what bracha we make on seltzer foreign [Applause] I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that boys that was so much fun watching all the soda ghosts exploding everywhere but the secret is that when we took the bottle and we shake this so so hard all the gas that was inside the liquid came out of the liquid and was attaching to the sides and as we opened it it went flying so fast a pie all over in the sky so we have over here A whole bunch of different ingredients and if we put different things inside I wonder if the CO2 gas the carbon dioxide will actually attach itself to the different stuff and release itself so fast so let's see what we have over here here we have sprinkles who like sprinkles what else do we have ketchup who likes ketchup you like ketchup you don't like ketchup ketchup is yummy and sour steaks do you like sour sticks yes sour steaks and let's see what else oh we have some salt you see this we have some regular salt and Mentos who thinks Mentos is gonna make it come out yeah okay we have baking soda and we have Alka-Seltzer tablets so now what we're gonna do is we're gonna try to put this inside but hold on a second how am I gonna put it inside it doesn't fit how am I gonna put oh I think you're gonna open it oh we're gonna open it but let me show you I'm gonna demonstrate I want you to hold on to this just like that here we have and hold on to this here we have something called a depth charger depth means deep like deep down in the ocean and this over here is going to fall inside and we're going to put special ingredients in this watch how it works here we put this like this here then we're going to have a pin that goes like this just like this see and let's say we have uh sprinkles inside of this and we pull this out Watch What Happens you put this like this see and now watch carefully I'm gonna pull it here you want to take it and pull it out go pull see it goes all the way to the bottom so we can get the soda from everywhere even the bottom and whatever was inside of the depth charger it goes charging to the bottom and it releases all the gas and it goes flying out so we're able to put a whole bunch of different ingredients inside these depth charges and see which one makes the biggest explosion are you guys excited yeah okay we are going to start off with the sprinkles you think the sprinkles are going to go out not really what do you think you think it's gonna work let's see let's take a whole bunch of sprinkles like this and let's try to put it inside let's try to fill it up hmm they're spilling all over okay oh very very good okay oh look at these sprinkles hold on to this now what we're gonna do is we're gonna put this inside here just like that good and now I want you to put the inside there yes stick it inside all the way in I got it I got it good job thank you David now don't pull it yet hold on we're gonna put this over here hold the bottom tight hold the bottle tight and let's see if we can put this on good and let's put this over here and let's close it okay come stand over here one second hold on let's open it just like that okay okay everybody say Ready Set ready go ready set go hey get down there you go oh I guess that's all the sprinkles though let's see if the salt will go higher than the sprinkles you ready yeah okay here so we're gonna take the salt and we're very carefully gonna pour the salt inside fill it up fill it up fill it up when I say go you're gonna pull it hey get back over here you're too far away see Ready Set ready go ready set ready go pull it whoa amazing that was pretty awesome don't you think good job and now it's time for ketchup who likes ketchup okay we're gonna take some of this ketchup I don't know if I like this idea is this nice should we take the ketchup and pour it on top of his head yeah or should we put on top of your head yeah no I'm just joking okay let's put a little bit of ketchup over here just like that [Music] oh yeah catch up hold on to this okay now what we're gonna do is come down over here yes here yeah and we're gonna turn it amazing excellent now let's see what happens when the ketchup goes you ready okay hold on say Ready Set ready go ready pull it is it going oh [Music] that didn't work come on we're waiting silly boy I don't like you ketchup anymore now we have sour sticks who loves sour sticks yeah now let's open this hour sticks oh oh I smell the chemicals I smell the chemicals oh what bracket do we make on Source things have a flavor that's a good one it's charcoal hold on to this we're gonna take this and let's see how we fit this in let's see we're gonna put this in right over here and oh that's yummy here this is for you oh you also want one okay we'll give you one soon good let's put this inside just like like this perfect perfect and we're gonna put this gently inside Here and Now screw it on again yes and now let's put it on top of the Pepsi and let's see how big it's gonna go oh look at that this is gonna be yummy you want to pull it sure hold on one second not yet let's first tighten it let's first tighten it one second okay wait and let's say Ready Set ready go ready set ready go go pull it let's go oh it was good but not so good what do we have left we got Mentos should we try Mentos yeah and our last one is going to be Mentos who thinks Mentos is gonna go the highest so what we're gonna do is we're gonna take a whole bunch here hold on to this like this let's open up our Mentos yummy and we're gonna put a whole bunch inside and we're gonna put this like this and let's open it up and very carefully put it in say after me ready set ready go ready set ready go should I do it yeah should I do it with my mouth on top oh then it's gonna go up my mouth and come out of my nose do I want to come out of my nose okay here it goes and did it go look at that it looks like which one from all the ones work the best it's mentals as you can see Mentos works the best and there are two reasons why Mentos works the best the first reason is because it's heavy so when we pull the depth charger it goes falling all the way to the bottom of the soda so it gets all the gas that's inside the soda not just the ones on the top it doesn't float on the top it goes to the bottom and the second reason is you can't realize it unless you take a magnifying glass and you look at the Mentos it's like the surface of the Moon has anybody ever seen a picture of the moon has anybody been on the moon yeah you've been on the moon yeah really that's it how did you get to the moon what about you I don't know you don't know what would I do I fly you fly do you know Dr schnitzel was born on the moon now I'm just joking I'm making a joke I'm making a joke now the moon has a whole bunch of craters who knows what a crater is yes it's like a big hole that's right now on this over here see there's a bunch of little craters there's so so small microscopic only if you use like a microscope you can see the little little holes and the carbon dioxide gas sticks to the little craters and because there's thousands of craters little holes on the Mentos it releases much quicker than anything else but the question is what happens if we use Mentos that are flat that have no craters will it still work let's see we have over here A whole bunch of gum that is flat there's no craters on this Mentos gum we got green we got red I think this is strawberry and we have bubble gum and we got nice mint mmm so yummy let's take this put it inside and let's see if it's gonna go flying even though these gums don't have any bumps on the little Mentos candy you ready so hold on to this and let's bring that over here we're gonna take one of each okay here one for you turn it upside down one and let's grab one of these just like that one of these and let's have one of these good and one pink one okay hold on to this say after me ready set ready go let's go hold on one second what's happening look at that it's not going that's because there's no craters there's no bumps on the very flat these kind of governmentals but the real mentors they have a lot of bumps those work best David here we have three sodas but this one here only has one Mentos this has three and this one has six I'm thinking that six is gonna work the best what do you think six well let's see how high one goes you ready you wanna pull it just pull it gently back okay good back up [Music] okay pretty good pretty good pretty good that's just from one Mentos wow okay now do the three carefully [Music] whoa yeah that's a little higher that's a little higher good now gently then look at that [Applause] as you can see six works the best the question is these used Mentos will they work again who thinks they will work again you think they'll work again not as high as though not as high let's see let's take them and let's take all these Mentos perfect okay we're gonna now put this on top over here so we have we're using the Mentos a second time let's see if we can reuse them over and over and over are you ready say Ready Set ready go [Music] [Applause] whoa that was amazing but wait a second Jack could we use it a third time should we try to use it a third time well let's see we're gonna use it a third time let's open it up and see if we can use the same entrance my third time oh yes you want to pull it okay go you gotta pull the ready guys no just the red just the red good that's it [Music] so it seems like that Mentos works the best but the question is what kind of soda releases the greatest bubbles we have here all these amazing sodas let's see what we got oh we got Coca-Cola classic and we got Mountain Dew seven up sun kissed Dr Brown yeah Dr Brown now we got Fresca and all the yummy sodas I wonder which one is gonna go the best what do you think is gonna go the best which one Fresca which one do you think Fresca Oso what do you think all Cokes all Cokes okay what do you think Diet Coke are you ready yes okay we're gonna start over here with the Coca-Cola classic are you ready okay here goes we're gonna do and I'm gonna do one at a time and you tell me which one from all the sodas are the best okay here goes should we do it say after me ready set ready go you guys are sleeping we gotta be really loud Ready Set ready go okay here goes and [Music] I can't guess it'll pretty good looks like Cola is pretty good and now let's try oh Fanta oh that's good [Music] yeah and now what do we got next we got Mountain Dew let's do Mountain Dew Mountain Dew oh it's not going oh Mountain Dew doesn't work and we got enjoy grape soda oh it's purple hey how's that not really yeah okay what about this uh the yellow Fanta yellow Fanta oh [Music] yeah and what about what's next we got Sprite let's do Sprite spray it looks like Sprite is going the best Sprite was so far the high he said let's do doctor what does that say there Thunder London whoa that that's the thunder so far the highest back to thunder is the highest and Pepsi do you think Pepsi can win let's try Pepsi oh a cave looks like Pepsi is definitely the highest yeah and wait let's see if Coca-Cola is gonna five high five and you know what's good about diet coke diet coke is actually not sticky all the other sodas have sugar so it's actually very sticky but Diet Coke its sweetener is not really sticky so a lot of people like to use Mentos Diet Coke the question is what works better cold Diet Coke or warm diet code you say cold and what do you say Coles what do you say cold and what do you say they all say cold works better let's see here we have a thermometer we have over here freezing cold soda and boiling hot soda let's see how hot this is this over here is 85.86 e five about 85 degrees inside over here and now let's see how cold this one is um this one over here is it's going to 47 46 45 all the way down to close to 35 degrees so hold on to this we're gonna see which one goes higher if it's cold or hot David which one should we do first the cold or the hot the hot okay here it is okay and let's see if it goes [Music] look at that that was hot now you want to do the cold okay pull it good [Music] that looks like it told us a lot which one was the highest the hot works so much better than cold the hot soda the molecules inside the liquid is moving very very fast so the gas has a lot more to attach to and can come out a lot quicker the cold soda the molecules that are all around those little molecules are moving slowly so therefore they're not as much that can come out going flying up high in the sky David look what we have here we have three different openings this one is just a nice round opening this one over here see that it has like an X and this one the one you have has three openings oh let's try to have the Mentos fall inside and see the difference between the three openings are you ready okay stand it up we're first gonna start with let's start with this guy
