Sanctify HaShem's Name

Pinchas did something that sanctified Hashem's name. Pinchas went to this point to my knowledge never killed anybody. Killed two people in the most gruesome, horrific possible way, but brave way at the same time. Saved all of Am Israel. How did he do it? Because Pinchas trained himself his whole life in the ways of Hashem to sanctify his name in every opportunity.
