Samuel Stands At The Turning Point Between Prophets And Kings.
Samuel is one of the greatest prophets of all time. He is many things at once—a prophet, a judge, and a spiritual leader—and he is the one who inaugurates Jewish monarchy by anointing its first official kings. Before him, figures like Moses held a kind of quasi-royal authority, and Joshua is at times described with king-like leadership. But they were not kings in the formal sense. There was no established monarchy yet. That begins with Saul, who is truly the first king of Israel, anointed by Samuel. His reign, followed briefly by his son, marks the official beginning of the monarchy. After Saul comes David, the decisive and foundational king. From David emerges the enduring royal line—the dynasty from which all legitimate kings of Israel descend. Samuel, standing at the crossroads between judges and kings, does not merely anoint rulers. He shapes the spiritual and political destiny of the nation. #ProphetAndKing #Samuel #BiblicalLeadership #SpiritualAuthority #MonarchyBegins #PowerAndResponsibility #FaithAndGovernance #BiblicalHistory Follow us: https://www.youtube.com/@Hidabrootcom https://www.instagram.com/hidabroot.global https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbCYZjl1CYoa4ulQIK2q
