Retirement of Sgt. Larry Patterson of the LPD

and appreciation for the service and dedication to the lak police department February 20th 1981 to December 16th 2010 congratulations and good luck at this time I'd like to call Larry's son Rob up Robert if you could on behalf of the Lake Police Department please give these to your mother I'm dealing with the police department and Larry for the last years like to turn it over to Sergeant Patterson now [Applause] and I can probably stand in front of all of you today because for the last 30 years I refused to compromise my Integrity or sell my soul for my own professional advancement to the men and women for platoon 2 it has been a pleasure working with you I thank you for your cooperation and your professionalism and I thank you for allowing me to be your supervisor I stand before you for the land last time and I ask three things of you before I go I ask that you strive to do what is right and just no matter how much it may hurt I ask that you come to work each day and wear your uniform with pride to show it the respect that it deserves and ask and I ask that as you practice your profession you do so knowing that the position that you hold you are justifiably held to higher standard by the very judgmental public that you are sworn to protect may God bless you and always have your back and may God God Bless America [Applause] l [Music] [Applause] on [Music] for [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] w
