warned paro and the egyptians is gonna reign with the coming of barad it was gonna wreak havoc and destruction to everything in sight now there were two groups of egyptians the first group the torah explains had fear for the word of god and they brought everything inside and they saved all their possessions the second group however says the torah did not put their heart to the word of god they left everything outside and there was complete destruction the wording of the torah is fascinating if the first group feared the word of god then what should the torah say about the second group they didn't fear god or they hated god khashogg or they didn't believe in god but as the torah described them they didn't put their heart to the word of god rabbi lam zad sal said something so special what's the cardinal sin of mankind apathy indifference not putting our heart into it what's the opposite of reverence and awe before god it's that apathy that lack of care the lack of concern that lack of passion that's the opposite of reverence and awe before hashem as a yid we always need to try our best to have passion energy excitement islavis in our voters hashem we need to be pumped up fired up break through the bonds of apathy and indifference this year has been so difficult so challenging on so many fronts and unfortunately many of us have become apathetic indifference with pesach coming up we might say ah no no shab is coming uh okay we've become apathetic but doesn't have to be that way this pesach we could rewrite our own narrative pesach's where it all began this is the beginning of our nation the very starting points mir to shem we should learn about the learn about the yantif get excited about the david excited about the seder excited about spending time with family and friends excited about spending time with our true inner selves and bizarre shem we can have a renewed focus and energy and excitement and bezrat [Music] with a new sense of freedom and a new sense of excitement and alacrity in our voters [Music] hashem
