We are back here on our Wednesday night

forever

as they can. Tonight, we start off with

we're in parhat.
We have to be happy about
that's going to be the title of the sh
be happy. Now we all grew up with the
famous statement and we all I mean old
people like me the famous statement that
said don't worry be happy but we didn't
realize that this statement
actually has an important connection to
the Torah.
Now a person is going to be a little bit
perplexed, confused.
How can this have anything to do with
that starts off and is full of warnings
about the curse upon the wicked?
A closer look into the holy text
is going to open our eyes. and in fact
make us see clearly a world of
happiness. Tune in, find out who's
happy, why you can be happy, too. And
after that, we'll open up for some
questions.
So, as we said, starts off with the
rebuke.
The rebuke that everyone is familiar
with. We did a film about it five years
ago that I actually watched myself again
today twice because it gave me some
and asal say there are things that need
constantly
these are things that need constantly
and
gives us a warning where says
see I present sent before you today a
blessing and a curse.
A blessing that you
hearkened to the commandments of Hashem
your God that I command you today and a
curse if you do not hearken to the
commandments of Hashem your God and you
stray from the path that I command you
today to follow gods of others that you
did not know.
Now Bayou did not know in so many words
is telling us
if somebody comes up one of these false
prophets, false teachings, and they tell
you that the Torah is changed, they're
starting a new testament, they're
starting a new Quran, they're starting a
new religion, they're even starting a
new version of Judaism.
This is straying. This is simply a
betrayal of God that acquires the curse.
But the question remains
a kadu is telling us that the blessing
and the curse come together. It's not
two separate things with the way that he
runs the world is that
he has structured it similar to an
automation. You know, in today's world,
the average person has become familiar
with what automations mean. If you asked
me what an automation is 5, 10, 20 years
ago, I wouldn't even know what you're
talking about. Perhaps something, some
gear in a car or something or in an
airplane. But an automation is simply by
you pressing several different buttons
and deciding that there's going to be
certain types of information whether it
be data or or or whatever it is that is
going to automatically be distributed
something will become automatic
in essence that's what au did
where if we follow his Torah, not just
listen to Torah, but herken to the
words, meaning we listen and we do, then
we get the blessing automatically.
The moment you fulfill the Torah, you do
a mitzvah, you keep Shabbat, you eat
kosher food, you wear modest clothes,
you protect your bre,
whatever mitzvah you're doing,
automatically
there is a gate in heaven that's opens
up with blessings upon blessings upon
you.
On the other hand,
if a person does the opposite, he goes
into a business that is predatory
lending,
which is 100% forbidden according to all
opinions of throughout all of the
generations all the way back to and even
our par.
All right. She decides to wear clothes
that only cover part of her body because
she wants everyone to see what the store
looks like.
If you decide to eat non-cooser food,
decide to shalom, violate Shabbat, waste
seed,
steal,
simply be a nasty person,
then not only does that close
gates of blessings
that were supposed to go upon you, but
it could even open up the door, the gate
of curses.
So this comes together. It's an
automatic. It's not like as if Hashem is
looking for who's sinning, who's doing
mitzvah. Let me give them something. No,
it's automatic. As the says
wrote the Torah 974
generations before he created the world
and use the Torah as an instruction set
as a manual as a blueprint
for the creation of this world
has the different details between kosher
animals and non-cooser animals and
therefore he created the animals.
kosher and non-cooser fish and therefore
he created different types of fish. Tens
of thousands
of different species have been
discovered and more are discovered on a
regular basis.
We use the Torah for all of this.
But this automation that we call
blessing of a curse typically
gets people scared, gets people
uncomfortable.
And Rabbi Ruven is saying, "Be happy.
Are you confused?" No,
not confused at all. Hashem,
we open up the midash.
And the midash and parhat
starts giving us directions.
Why should we be happy?
Why should we be happy
that there's a blessing and a curse
in chapter 4 section number one
a question of is discussed
when a Jewish person who is reading the
Torah in a synagogue the Qur that's
reading the Torah portion each Shabbat
what is the law as to whether he's
permitted to divide the theot
the section of rebuke
which this para is full of. Can he
divide it up into several readings?
Meaning he can only say a few verses,
another guy says another few verses
because it's a lot of curses, a lot of
problems, a lot of scary stuff. Can can
we just divide it up?
of
who said in the name of
the holy one blessed is he says I wrote
concerning my glory and I am with him
with Israel in distress this is Psalm
91:15
and therefore it would not be
appropriate that my children are being
cursed while I'm being blessed
how would this be the case if the the
admonition s would be divided into
several readings.
None of the people who are called up to
read their portion of the admonition
will be able to avoid blessing God twice
over it. Once before the reading, you do
a blessing and once after it.
But if they're only reading the section
of
the rebuke, then there's no
there's no blessings for them. They're
blessing only Hashem and they're getting
curses. So conclusion is read it with
one aliyah.
Fine, that's the but the question is
why should I be happy about it? Cuz you
said I have to serve you with happiness.
And the rabbis continue and say
something else.
It's not for Israel's detriment that I
gave them the blessings and the curses.
On the contrary, it's for their benefit
to inform them which is the good path
that they should choose so that they may
receive a reward.
Now when you look at the para
you see that
is promising us all types of wonderful
blessings.
You'll have a pibetan. You'll have
children. It'll be healthy and
wonderful. You'll find a zeug. You'll
have
you won't be lacking anything. Your
enemies will fear you.
And on and on all types of wonderful
blessings. Your business will prosper.
You'll have peace. You'll have
blessings. You'll have shea.
Wonderful.
But these are all material rewards.
And of course, between you and I, we
already know that the real reward is.
And that's what the Rambam says. The
Rambam says that the real reward for all
of the that you do is inab
a place where there's no end to the
enjoyment and the
will bestow upon us when we merit to get
there
if we do his will.
On the cursing side, the wicked will go
to a place that has no end to the
suffering.
And for anyone that wants to know the
details and nearly 200 sources from
across the spectrum of the Torah, they
can watch the
movie we made the uh Gum film. We made
this year we did about kafa all types of
lectures where it shows what the curse
looks like. But here we're talking about
the blessings today. Here today we're
going to focus about the blessings. Be
happy. Why be happy? You just told me
blessing curse comes together and then
you told me that the reward that I'm
going to get is not really the real
reward.
You're making me even more confused.
Rabbi
says the mahazu.
The reward is a spiritual reward in the
world to come. You're right. And that's
what the righteous people will enjoy.
But the rabbis are saying
that a kadosh included
the monetary reward, the zeug reward,
the shea reward,
the material reward in the Torah with
all of the physical rewards in the
Torah,
which includes elimination of physical
sufferings of the curses
because this is what will entice a
person to choose to act righteously
because if Hashem started giving them
details of all the rewards they would
potentially get if they were righteous
in Aabah they wouldn't know what to do
with it. They would not even understand
it.
And therefore he entices us with
material reward in this temporary world
because that will lead us to act
righteously. And as a result of acting
righteously because we want panasa
because we want children because we want
good health because we want the shea as
a result of us going after those by
being righteous
he will then be able to give us the
ultimate reward of the world to come.
The more you delve into this explanation
of the mahazu,
the more genius you realize, but also
the more you realize how different
the thoughts of Hashem are from ours.
As a says to the prophet,
"My thoughts are not like your
thoughts."
He furthermore says the midrash
the holy one blessed is he
said listen to me
for no person ever listens to me and
loses out as a result
meaning if we follow the Torah there's
no way that that will bring a curse upon
And that should make a person happy.
But you said that it was in the para and
it is
you delve into and delve into it and
you'll find it.
Now the parasa has some other things
before we find the happiness.
It first tells us
about the sanctity of the land of
Israel. Fine. But it's so holy
that you have to remove idolatry from
there. What does removing idolatry mean?
Says smash their pillars and their
sacred trees, their little Christmas
trees.
You shall burn them in fire. these trees
and their carved images you should cut
down and you should obliterate their
names from that place.
Now the first few we understood. What
does it mean to obliterate the names?
What? Put some white out on it. Erase it
with a little eraser. What does it mean
to obliterate their names?
Says Russia Kadosh.
you shall obliterate their names means
not only should the idols themselves be
removed.
But the Jews
were not even allowed to refer to these
idols by their proper names. Instead,
they should use derogatory nicknames for
the idols, calling them
all types of derogatory names. It's a
mitzvah from the Torah to make f fun of
idols. And unfortunately today you find
some people that have become famous,
plead with the nations of Ih they should
support us and love us and how we really
are in the same and how we really are uh
you know supposed to help each other and
how this and how that. No, you want to
help them, tell them they're idol
worshippers and to abandon the idolatry.
That's if you really want to help them.
But if you are trying to kiss up to
them, reason with them, partner with
them, you're not helping them because as
we learned in last night, those that are
idoltors will be destroyed.
So
here the Torah is telling us this is one
of the mitzvot
make fun of idolatry, destroy idolatry.
And then it says,
"You shall rejoice
with your every undertaking." Even this
mitzvah of making fun of idolatry should
make you happy. But not just happy like,
"Oh yeah, I just did a mitzvah." No,
happy, real happiness.
you your household as Hashem your God
has blessed you
no less than six times in the
tells us to be in a state of happiness
that's called rejoicing
what's rejoicing you're so happy it
shows
on the outside.
A few verses later when it starts
talking about
the private altars you're bringing
coenote
again
Hashem says bring the choices vow
offering that you will vow to Hashem and
you shall rejoice before Hashem your God
you your sons your daughters your slaves
your maidervants and the Levite who is
in your cities for he has no share any
inheritance with You everybody has to be
happy. Happy happy.
Okay. I mean Kuban is pretty cool. I
never did one. I'll be able to merit
doing one when the bet third bet is
built after Mashia comes.
But I don't know. I never really
connected the two.
Going bring Kuban. You bring $30,000
$40,000
bull.
sacrifice it and dance the whole way.
Person doesn't understand. What do you
mean? Again, happy
further
talks about the sacred foods that's only
allowed to be eaten in.
And he says,
"And you shall rejoice before Hashem
your God in your every undertaking."
Another mitzvah. Be happy. Rejoice.
I don't know. The happiness of this
world is a little bit different. Hashem,
we have a little bit different
understanding.
Unfortunately,
the Torah continues telling us about
different mitzvot
telling us about the
prohibition of copying the goim. Don't
act like a Don't start becoming
some gangster rapper because you decided
that you want to emulate the nations.
Don't dress like them. Don't act like
them.
Don't worship like them.
Don't follow the false prophets, which
we talked about already earlier this
week.
If there's somebody that's aim
causes people to sin,
at the time of the Sanhedrin,
we were obligated to kill those people.
Today, we're not allowed to do any of
that.
There was some foolish guy that
called
and uh told him, "Listen, this uh member
of the Israeli government that's causing
a lot of problems to the F community,
the Torah scholar community. I'm willing
to fulfill the mitzvah of and go kill
her
told him no, not allowed. And then he
called the police on him.
We do not have permission to take the
law into our hands.
And a person that already thinks that
they can do such a thing, you have to be
very very careful of such a person.
People say, "Wait, but you do it. Isn't
that aren't you a mo
by calling the police on him? No, he's
endangering all of Isel by such
behavior.
The time of the sun did not the regular
average person and you deluding yourself
to thinking that you're a pas
means that you are spiritually sick too.
But needless to say,
the Torah tells us
that if somebody causes people to go
against Hashem,
distorts the Torah,
nullifies the mitzvot with their speech.
Even if that person is your brother,
your son, whoever it is at the time of
the senadine,
you would have to not just call the
police on them. Let's just say that
you are not allowed to be compassionate
on such people.
But remember, be happy,
rejoice.
Wait, he's bringing his cousin to the
senaded
all tied up. Bring him to his end while
he's
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How
how
furthermore
tells us that we are a treasured people.
We're unique
and therefore we have to behave
differently from the nations. We can't
just eat whatever we want. We have
permitted and forbidden food. We can't
just eat whatever we want, however we
want. There's only specific types of
animals we're allowed to eat, specific
types of fish.
[Applause]
But don't forget,
be happy that you can't eat the bacon
and the cheeseburger. Be happy about it.
Not just happy, rejoice. What's
rejoicing?
Yeah.
And the average person is either
entertained by my dancing or more
confused or both.
Furthermore,
Torah tells us
that
we have to be warmhearted to our
brothers,
help the poor,
help the needy before they fall.
It's a big mitzvah to give Daka,
but even bigger to lend money to your
fellow Jew if you have it within you
with your abilities to do so.
And then the Torah
tells us about the holidays.
It's a shabat.
Another few days you can't work, you
can't make any money, you can't go on
the internet, you can't even watch the
YouTube videos by Rabbi Ruven.
What can you do?
You shall rejoice before Hashem your
God. You, your son, your daughter, your
slave, your maidervant, the Levite who
is in your cities, and the convert, the
orphan, and the widow who are among you
in the place that Hashem your God will
choose to rest his name.
Yes. Rejoice. What's rejoice? Did you
guys forget? I'll remind you in case you
forgot. I almost forgot. What's
rejoicing?
It's rejoicing. Happy.
And if in case you forgot, oh, you have
to go. You don't even have to go so far.
Just a few verses later tells us about.
And who doesn't know that ink there's an
obligation from the
You shall rejoice on your festival. You
and your son and your daughter, your
slave, your maidervant, yourite, your
convert, the orphan, and the widow who
is in your cities.
But not just any happiness.
And you shall be completely joyous.
Meaning all the I just did up till now,
I'm kind of tired from it. Guess what?
You have to elevate even more
even more happiness.
A person that does not follow what the
Torah says has no concept of happiness
and therefore they look at this
strangely. They look at this confused.
What do you mean happiness?
In fact, the part that will confuse them
the most
is in chapter 14 verse 22
where says
you shall give a tide give you got
$1,000 this month take a hundred out of
the thousand and use it to publicize Go
donate it to a to Torah scholars. Go
donate it to Kiru. You made $10,000,
take a,000. You made $50,000 profit on
your investments, go take 5,000. And in
fact, the only says meaning give 10%.
And then after you give 10%, give
another 10%, 20%.
Meaning you made your profit, you made
your income,
take 10 and if you're a real sadic, take
20%
of the money a kadosh gave you
and celebrate with it. How do you
celebrate with it? Give it to Kiru. give
it to publicize Torah.
And in case you're not sure how to do
this mitzvah,
a few verses that tells you exactly what
have to do, how do you do this mitzvah?
You shall rejoice you and your household
when you give m
When you give,
you just made $10,000 for the month. You
just made a $100,000 profit. Whatever
you made, go take that money and donate
it and do and have a party.
That's what you're supposed to do.
You're supposed to enjoy, but not enjoy
like, oh, we're going to have a nice
dinner. No, go have a feast.
Why? Why is the Torah telling us it's so
important to be happy?
As we already hinted in the beginning,
said it's for your benefit that I gave
you the blessings of the curses. The
blessings I made it in such a way where
it's material blessings, physical
blessings, things that you understand,
things that you can see, you can see
more money, more profits, marriage,
children, all the things that people
want, good health.
So those I said it in the Torah, you're
going to get all that stuff. And the
curses I also showed you things that you
can see scary stuff. Sickness, war,
animosity, losses, collapses, disease.
In order to help you make the right
decision, make it easy. If you do the
stuff that's going to get you a profit,
you get the blessings.
If you do
the opposite, you're only bringing a
punishment upon yourself. As the Torah
says, his blood is on his own head. And
therefore, when you realize why you're
doing the mitzvot, you realize that
will give you the profit in this
temporary world only to entice you to
keep going and doing more and more and
more. Because really, after all of it,
he's got much bigger plans for you, a
much bigger award that you cannot even
quantify with all of the human minds
combined.
If you took all of the good that ever
existed from the beginning of the world
until the end of the world of every
single person and you put it all into a
little box and that's gave it to one
person as as that's their happiness.
It's a lot of happiness that will not
even account to 1% of the happiness that
au has waiting for you if you fulfill
the Torah and do what he says.
But in order to get you to do that,
in order to get you to do that, he
entices you with treats,
all types of profits in this temporary
world. You want another house, no
problem. You want a bigger house, no
problem. You want another kid, no
problem. You want to win the war, no
problem. You want your enemies to be
scared of you, no problem. He gives you
all of that. Just keep doing what I
said. Just keep doing what I said. No
one ever lost by listening to Hashem.
And when a person understands that every
mitzvah is getting them a much bigger
profit in this world and the next, when
they understand what that means, when
they understand that destroying idolatry
gets them closer to the reward. When
they understand that destroying the
heretics gets them closer to the reward.
When they understand that giving taka,
the giving m gets them closer to the
reward and the reward just keeps growing
and growing and bigger and bigger than
you can ever imagine.
If a person truly understands it, of
course they're going to do it happy. Of
course they're going to take care what
20,000 I made 100,000. 20,000 no
problem. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. They're dancing all over the
place. Why? Look, I just made a
guarantee for myself. I just donated
20,000. I guaranteed myself an even
bigger reward coming in this world and
the next. Of course, I'm going to be
happy.
And therefore,
the par that people are scared of, the
par that is full of rebuke, the paras
that scare people that don't look into
the verses
from the start.
actually has no less than six times
in it,
an obligation, a command,
be happy,
but not be happy superficially just by
getting yourself another car. Be happy
temporarily until you get tired of the
car. Not be happy temporarily because
you got a new toy, but until you get
bored of the toy a few days later, if
that long and then you're not happy
anymore. No, be happy fulfilling more
and more mitzvot learning more and more
to doing more.
As the stip says, gather them, gather
them, gather as many as you can while
you still can.
When a person understands
how much how much kindness a bestowed
upon us by telling us there's a blessing
and a curse in so many words to make it
easy for you to decide to choose the
blessings. Who wants a curse?
Because I want to give you a huge
reward. I want to give you a lot more
blessings. and to entice you to keep
doing it. I'll give you even blessings
in this world.
When a person truly understands that
they should be walking around with a
smile from ear to ear,
never upset for a single moment, even
through the difficulties, despite the
difficulties, because you know that
everything is from him, from his hand,
and nothing else
ever controls
what your outcome is. Only he decides.
And he decides based on your actions,
how did you treat the automation,
did you do what was necessary in order
to open the gates of blessings?
Shalom. Open the gates of curses. If you
open the blessings and on top of it, you
fulfilled another mitzvah of being
happy,
that means you don't have complaints.
That means you're not sad. That means
that even when there's troubles, you
know, it's all from your It's all from a
shim. It's all from Hashem. That means
there is no sadness.
That means that you are as excited about
life as you could possibly ever be
because you know that Hashem is with
you. And every day you get a few more
blessings.
You did your blessing. You did blessing.
You put on blessing. You work modern a
mus clothes blessings.
You did blessing before you uh ate
blessing. After you ate, blessing you
gave taka blessing. You watch Rabbi
Ruven more blessings.
When a person understands this,
it becomes clear happiness is in your
own it's it's within reach.
But the Satan makes it hidden. He makes
you focus
on all your problems. He makes you focus
on the cup being half empty instead of
half full. He makes you focus on the
difficulties. And if you don't have
difficulties, you start looking at other
people's difficulties. He makes you
focus on the agony and the pain
and eventually
get to a point where even if you're
looking at the verse saying
you shall rejoice you and your household
all in the name of God. It's almost like
it becomes meaningless to you. You're
too busy crying. You're too busy
complaining. You're too busy agonizing
in your pain and and suffering that you
have now realizing that all of it is
from.
So if a person
wants to do chuva
for not being happy,
start now.
Start now.
Start being happy.
every time you do a mitzvah, no matter
what mitzvah it is.
And if you start realizing, wait, I did
a mitzvah, that means I'm going to get a
reward. That means that Hashem is happy
with me. That means that he's going to
give me he has even bigger plans for me,
even more reward for me. Okay, so let me
do another mitzvah.
And literally manage your day in such a
way that you go from from one mitzvah to
to another
all the time having smile on your face
and any opportunity to rejoice to
celebrate take it do it. But real
rejoicing,
real happiness,
not happiness that depends
on the sinful world around you, but
happiness that's within you at all
times.
Now, surely you want to go and celebrate
with a feast, dinner, restaurant,
whatever. No problem. If you're
celebrating a mitzvah, absolutely.
But understand this and understand this
clearly.
is telling us if you truly understand
what being happy is because of a mitzvah
that means that you will be just as
happy about putting on to fillin as you
are about fighting against the heretics.
You'll be just as happy about giving
taka, giving mas, giving your hard
worked money that you think you worked
hard for
as you were about simply getting
married, having children. You're
supposed to be ecstatic
about
taking advantage of every mitzvah,
including the ones that we don't have
the ability to do, like destroying all
of the idol worshippers and uh all of
the
that's for Hashem to do.
But the point is
is telling us inside the verses.
Yes, it sounds difficult. It sounds
shocking. One of the mitzvah is to
destroy an entire city of idol
worshippers, including all of their
stuff.
We don't have the ability or permission
to do such a thing today. But at the
time of Moshe Benu at the time of the
such things would happen and in essence
the reaction would be to be happy. If
you want to fulfill the mitzvah the
right way, you have to be happy that
you've uprooted
idolatry and heresy from the world.
You've used the money to publicize
Torah.
Whatever Hashem gave you, you are not
grateful for just what he gave you.
You're grateful for the opportunity to
use what he gave you to do even more
mitzvot.
And that's what the Rambub says that the
point of all of the physical reward in
this world is in order for Hashem to
enable you to do more mitzvot when he
sees that you like to donate toem to
publicize more to sponsor more of these
tablets more of these ku boxes to help
people do chuva. Guess what? There's no
doubt in the world that a kadosh bahu
will give you more money as a result of
it. No doubt in the world whatever money
you invest a,000 5,000 100,000 100
million whatever you invest in it and
you will get
to distribute yourself or we do part of
it you do part of it or whatever it is
whatever you invest to help publicize to
help do there is no doubt in the world
that au as a result of it not only will
give you the money back but will even
give you more than you invested
And that's why you should already be
happy at the time you do the act that
Hashem commanded and not just when you
get the reward. Most people wait for
reward in order to celebrate
and in the process they miss the whole
point. You're supposed to be happy
already from the beginning because
you're already showing that you have
complete amuna in Hashem
that he
is happy with what you're doing. You're
fulfilling his Torah and he will pay you
the reward in this world and the next.
the sooner you celebrate the mitzvah,
the more amuna
you actually show that you have. But if
you only wait for the reward, you only
wait to find a zoo before you celebrate,
you only wait to uh get an inheritance
to to celebrate, you only wait to get
what you want in order to celebrate,
then in essence, you're not really happy
about the mitzvah. You're just happy
that you got more stuff.
And therefore,
tells us all of the mitzvot
should make you happy
should make you happy if you truly
understand what's behind all of it. And
may it be his will that all of us will
celebrate his mitzvot
day in and day out and never look at
anything as a small mitzvah or a big
mitzvah. rather take it upon ourselves
to celebrate the mitzvot each and every
single time and even more so push
ourselves to get more people to do
mitzvot imagine you just got one of
these you gave it to your neighbor you
gave it to your best friend you gave it
to your brother sister stranger in the
sh whoever it is that person opens it up
they decide to do chuva they start doing
mitzvot every single day you have now
replicated yourself.
Whatever you do is great, but you also
get benefit for everything they do too
from that point on.
If that doesn't make you dance, if that
doesn't make you start singing, then you
don't know what happiness is. And in
essence,
you're showing that the reason why a
kadu did not include all the details of
the real blessings in a Torah is exactly
applying to you. You don't understand
what enjoyment is. You don't understand
what joy is. You don't understand what a
mitzvah is. You don't even understand
what the purpose of the world is.
And therefore, if you want to do chuva,
start celebrating, start feeling joy
about every single mitzvah.
And if you want to have a really big
party, start doing kiru. Start
supporting kiru to the absolute maximum
that you can
because each and every time you do it,
you already get a reward. You're already
doing a mitzvah. And if Hashem decides
that your K will succeed,
in so many words just gave you the gift
that keeps on giving even while you're
sleeping. Why? Cuz those other people
are not sleeping always at the same
time. They're doing they're learning to
they live in a different zip code. They
live in a different country. In so many
words, you can get your nama to have its
own automation. What automation?
automation of getting more and more
blessings, automation of getting more
and more reward in this world and the
next. And that's why the people that
support Kiru in in a significant way
that make it a priority literally have
more blessings in their life than anyone
you can possibly comprehend.
I've seen it with my own eyes, not just
only in my own life, but I see it with
people.
And the only thing I pray for is that
those people don't fall off because they
feel like they the blessings will just
continue even if they don't continue.
Has created this world in order to
reward us.
But punishment is available if we don't
want it.
Choose wisely
because only one of them earns this
dance.
Each person will take upon themselves to
celebrate. Never be sad because you
don't really have a reason to. Never be
upset because there's no time to.
Never waste a moment to be joyful in
doing mitzvot.
And if you find yourself not joyful,
just do another mitzvah. It'll fix you
up.
You know, it took a lot of time and
effort to study for this lecture, and
every lecture changes my life a little
bit, and I hope it does to you as well.
If you're enjoying it, please make sure
to like, subscribe, and share with
people that you care about, people that
you know could benefit from it. You may
end up changing their life. Thanks again
for learning with me, and we'll continue
growing together. Now, back to the
lecture.
With that being said, you guys can start
asking some questions and will give us
the answers.
The person that you guys are
recommending on the comments to watch
about reincarnation is an apicose. Just
so you know, he's a heretic that
distorts the Torah. He says that certain
sins are not sins if it's hard for you.
He even calls the Talmud uh a uh
so he's an a and uh if you watch him
you'll get punished for it. Not for me
from Hashem. But suit yourself.
Why haven't I made a video about him? Uh
because I'm too busy fighting the top
heretic in the world today, which is the
the menace.
Is one allowed to read a book of Mal or
other religious books on a plane or
other forms of public transportation?
Absolutely.
What else are you going to do? Waste
time? No, of course.
All right.
Okay. Let's see
here.
Okay, I have
a couple of questions that
was sent to me and I wrote them down.
Let's see. What is the best mida to fix
to be saved from goog magog?
Well, first a person should listen to
everything we just said today on a
regular basis and get themselves to a
point where they're always happy. Happy
doing mitzvot, happy doing the will of
Hashem. If a person is happy about doing
mitzvot, certainly they're going to be
able to fulfill the entire Torah, fix
their any other deficiency they have.
They'll be happy to remove anger.
They'll be happy to become humble.
they'll be happy to do everything that
they know makes them closer to Hashem.
So I would say that if a person wants to
really seriously prepare themselves not
just for goog but even for this month of
the high holidays coming up start
working on being happy doing every
mitzvah.
The more you do that the more pleasure
you're going to have serving Hashem and
the more you're going to want to serve
Hashem.
What should we take on for aloo to get
ready for rashash shana similar to what
I just another question where what a
person should take on
in order for a person to understand
the happiness that they're supposed to
have they have to do more mitzvot so for
for the men especially they should learn
more to whatever you're learning now
increase it if you're learning a half
hour a day learn for an You're learning
for an hour a day. Learn for two hours.
Learn for an hour and a half at least.
Learn more Torah and add some mousar
into your life every day. 15 minutes, a
half hour, an hour. You could watch my
lectures for mal. That's the uh constant
topic we talk about in every sh to fix
ourselves.
For women, focus on fulfilling your
obligations as a woman, which is to be
modest, to always be a supportive of
your husband and children, learning more
Torah instead of going shopping, instead
of going on vacation, instead of, you
know, wasting all of the energy on all
types of material things. Make sure that
there is also time to learn Tawa. Now,
there's no problem with going on a
vacation as long as obviously it's
kosher. There's no problem of
celebrating. There's no problem of
spending money to buy things. There is a
problem if all of those things get in
the way of serving Hashem and and
learning Torah. So if a person wants to
improve themselves during this month of
start paying attention to everything
that you're doing in order to make sure
that you're learning more, you're doing
more and you're serving Hashem with
happiness.
How could Mosher Benu show the lean the
uh the
talim the giant sea creatures the snake
that kills when it looks at those
things. So a very smart person. Now in
essence knows that the uh mid tells us
that uh in this paraben
is telling
all of the different mitzvot having to
do with animals. But how would they know
what the uh you know the the the kosher
fish look like or the non-coosher fish
look like? He's not just leaving
everything up to chance and memory. In
essence, Kazal teaches us that every
time he told them about an animal, he
actually showed them the animal. He
showed them the animal. So, how exactly
that was certainly seems like the uh
there's physical animals that he showed
them literally in their hand. Ah made
miracles to show them the physical
animals, but didn't necessarily have to
sit on Mosheu's lap in order for him to
show it to them.
could simply make the appear right there
and then and tell them this is it. Give
them the
the huge lion that uh existed uh nearly
2,000 years ago. Still around today, but
obviously we don't uh see him and we're
lucky we don't because just as a roar
from miles away makes people's uh bones
shake and teeth fall out. It's a uh one
one of the great sages uh came to uh I
believe it's Eli but I'm not sure came
to uh uh one of the uh uh Roman Caesars
and said listen you uh you guys say that
you have this giant lion in the Torah
but uh where is this giant lion I want
to see him I want to see this lion he
says well you don't really want to see
him no I want to see him or else I
believe that you're lying your to is
full full of lies. So
the Jewish sage started praying
and all of a sudden
a huge roar came from a distance but the
roar was so scary and so horrific that
it caused an earthquake. Things started
falling. The the building started to
shake. Said what is that? Said you said
you wanted to see it. So I prayed to God
to make him come here.
A few moments later, cuz Di is running
towards them,
another roar. This time, all of the
soldiers fell on the floor and their
teeth started falling out of their
mouths.
By then,
the Roman Caesar told them, "No, no, no.
Tell, please, please, please tell this,
tell this line not to come. Tell him not
to come. Please, no, no, no. We we've
seen enough. We've seen enough." And
this is Kazal says when the when the
lion was still miles and miles away
that's how massive he was now
that showing is the big animals the
small animals the the unique animals
that only existed for a specific time
like the tash that was used uh the skin
of the tash was used for the Mishkan
because it was so beautiful.
Thisai was not Moshe's doing. This was
akadoshu in so many words,
not even having to to snap fingers like
we do. Simply making something appear.
Now, of course, the little bunny could
go right and sit right next to Mosheu
and everybody sees what a bunny looks
like. But only people in the front. Only
people in the front. What about the
millions and millions of people in the
back? How do they see this little bunny?
Where are they all going to have to go
to the front? Nobody, not everybody go
to the front. In so many words who made
miracles
where everyone was able to see it.
So whether it was
50 million bunnies
and 50 million fish or one really really
big bunny in the air that everyone was
able to see or in so many words put it
in front of everyone,
there's no limitation to
and if there's no limitation of showing
him a little bunny to millions of
people, there's certainly no limitation
of showing him the uh levatan or or some
of the other huge animals.
So the beauty here is that we have a
kadu and a does not have limitations.
If he wanted to show something to
everyone saw it and just like the whole
world
knew that what Hashem did for in Egypt
with the plagues they also knew when he
split the sea into 12 different tunnels.
Everyone knew because even their coffee
and their water and their local uh bar
split into 12. The water split
everywhere.
When is received the Torah, the whole
world knew. It wasn't the whole world
was there. The whole world knew though.
Why? Because made sure everyone saw
what was happening. Whether it's in the
sky, in front of them, on the side, all
types of different ways. There's no
limitations that has and therefore
we understand that the words of the
sages are not just fairy tales but
literally they're telling us when Hashem
did something and he we says that
everyone saw everyone saw no exceptions
everyone saw
and that's
one of the beautiful things when you
have a God that's not limited, a God
that doesn't need you, a God that gives
you opportunities
to celebrate his mitzvot because it's
only for your good.
There's nothing else that you would ever
want. And people get closer and closer
to the one and only God of Israel and
live this way where they know that
there's no limitations. There's no
limitations with his past creation,
present creation, future creation.
Certainly, there's no limitation of how
much money he can give you or Zivugi can
send you or anything else. There's no
limitation. All we have to do is give
him a reason by turning on the
automation of blessings by doing his
will. We turn on the automation of the
blessings
already. Start celebrating
What do you think about of breastliff
sadik one of the great sadikim we had in
the last couple hundred years
has plenty of sadikim and he was one of
them
what should a person do when he's
jealous of other people who are serving
hashem better than him and are learning
more and better I wish I can serve
hashem like they do well that's The
point the real gave us
every character trait in order for us to
serve him with it. And the character
trait of jealousy was not for people to
be jealous of other people because they
have better better cars or more
beautiful wives or more kids or or
different type of life but rather to be
jealous of other people's uh serving
Hashem better, learning more Torah
better and therefore to entice ourselves
to do better. So it's in essence that
that competitive nature that's within
you needs to be turned on and when you
see other people serving Hashem better
than you are, you should start serving
Hashem even better and you'll succeed.
Is it kosher for me to wear my
grandfather's?
uh that sure if they're kosher tiline uh
then there's uh no problem but you have
to make sure that uh you get them
checked and uh many people uh wearin
uh of their parents or grandparents
uh just assuming that since they're old
therefore they're holy therefore they're
kosher and many times they find out that
uh you know they when they check the
feline that uh they've been laying
feline that are not really because
somebody didn't check them and uh the uh
something happened over the years and uh
they're no longer a kosher feline. So
get them checked. Cost I don't know $70
$100 to get them checked. Uh certainly
put on a different pair of feline during
that time. If they're uh they're they're
good fine then sure you could later you
could put them on. But uh if uh if if
they're not then get yourself a new
parrot.
What do you think about teaching the
Gentiles? Well the focus for every Jew
is to teach Jews. If Gentiles decide to
show up and learn also, they can. But uh
Jews should never go out there and start
teaching uh Gentiles as their primary
focus. No, it's not allowed.
Can you tell us about the gates of
curses? I have plenty of lectures about
the the curses, the punishments. Even
have films about it. Uh so you could
watch all of those. So you can just
simply go to my YouTube channel, type in
uh either the para uh which is a r e h
or you can just put the word curses or
the word punishment and you'll get a
whole lot of uh different lectures that
discuss the the the details of the
curses.
Khaleim lent me a electric lift chair
recliner to use before and after my
valve replacement
easy breathing and to the next back
surgery. Can I use it on Shabbat? Uh
electric chair or no? It's you have to
have somebody push you.
You have to have somebody push you.
Uh Ruven, are we obligated to give into
the financial demands of one that
extorting us or may we cut off all
contact?
Uh that depends on what your definition
of extorting is and why they're
extorting you. and uh uh you know if
somebody's violating the Torah then of
course you don't need to uh follow uh
what they say but uh if uh if you really
are obligated to do something then you
need to do it. So people uh sometimes
don't like when other people ask him for
for money and they uh define things uh
as extortion or as a uh stealing just
because they don't want to do it. So
you have to uh make sure that uh that's
really what it is.
commands rejecting idol idolatry. Can I
listen to my Jewish parents non-Jewish
beliefs like the New Testament?
Is it disrespectful to say I don't want
to hear this? No. If if your uh uh
anybody, your parents or anybody else
says uh things that are against the
Torah, you certainly do not and should
not hear it.
If you want to avoid conflict and so on
and you're not comfortable saying, "I
don't want to hear this," uh you could
just simply change the topic. always
have a story of Torah or something, some
uh wise thought from the sages on your
mind that as soon as they uh start
talking about this nonsense, change the
topic to something else.
Should one help a gentile in need? Uh
depends.
uh if uh if if you're talking about the
Gentile that has a uh medical condition
uh and you're a doctor, not only should
you help him uh but you're allowed to
violate Shabbat uh in order to uh save
that Gentile's life in order for the
sake of peace. The the sages permitted
for the uh the doctors to violate
Shabbat to save a gentile's life. uh
because if we don't save the Gentiles
life, then the Gentile doctors will also
use that against us and won't save
Jewish lives. So you're even if you're a
doctor, you're allowed to even violate
Shabbat in order to save a life. Human
uh uh life uh was all created by Hashem.
Now, as far as to help a gentile in
different things, it depends. It depends
if they really are in need. If uh if
this is a uh if this is a gentile that
is a uh you know someone that's an
anti-semite,
if this person is a uh you know it
depends can't it can't be one
sizefits-all.
Not all Gentiles are the same and not
all Jews are the same
and not all needs are the same.
Shalom, Rabbi, can you tell us more
about what happens to the after
the Tanakh?
Well, I can tell you
what Tanakh says.
Why? Why? Why? Why? Uh why speculate?
I tell you what Tanak says. You go to
the Navaja.
Nava tells
everything as it is. He's not concerned
about YouTube views or uh people that
don't like uh to hear the truth.
um and them blocking him. No, in so many
words, the Navaja is a very very short
book prophecy and he was originally a
non-Jew that converted
and Nvya
says,
sorry, here we go.
A vision of Oada. Thus says the Lord
Hashem concerning Adum. So you know I'm
not just assuming it's adom. He's saying
it's Adom.
We have heard tidings from Hashem and a
messenger has been sent among the
nations saying arise and let us rise up
against her for battle. Behold, I have
made you inferior among the nations. You
are very despised. The wickedness of
your heart has misled you. You who
dwells in the cliffs of the rocks in his
lofty abode. Who says in his heart, "Who
can bring me down to earth?" Sounds like
Trump, doesn't it? Or maybe Putin. Even
if you raise your nest like an eagle or
if you place your nest among the stars,
I will bring you down from there. The
word of Hashem. If thieves have come
upon you, if plunderers of the night,
how utterly you are cut off, would they
not steal only until they had enough of
for themselves? If grape harvest
harvesters would come to you, would they
not leave over gleanings? How has been
searched, his hordes revealed? All the
men of your covenant escorted you until
the border. The men at peace with you
misled you and prevailed over you. Those
who eat your bread made a wound in your
place. There is no understanding in him.
Behold, on that day the word of Hashem,
I will eradicate wise men from Adom and
understanding from the mountain of Asav.
Your mighty ones to the south will be
broken.
So that every man will be cut off from
the mountain of Asav by the slaughter.
for the oppression of your brother
Yakov,
disgrace will envelope you and you will
be cut off forever. Well, he's telling
you that Asav is going to be punished
because of what he did to Jacob, meaning
to
on the day that you stood from afar, on
the day that strangers captured his
wealth and foreigners came to his gates
and cast the lottery on Yushim,
you too were like ones of them. Gaze not
on the day of your brother, the day of
his estrangement, and rejoice not over
the children of Yehuda, on the day of
their destruction, and do not expand
your mouth on a day of his misfortune.
Enter not the gate of my people, on the
day of their calamity. Gaze not, you
too, upon his evil on the day of his
calamity, and do not extend your hands
to his wealth on his day of calamity.
Stand not by the crossroads to cut off
his fugitives, and deliver not his
survivors on the day of misfortune. For
the day of Hashem upon all the nations
is close, as you have done, so shall be
done to you.
Your reququid shall re return upon your
head. For just as you drank on my holy
mountain, so will all the nations drink
ceaselessly. They will drink and be
confounded and become as if they never
were. On Mount Zion, there will be
refuge, and it will be holy. And the
house of Yakov will inherit those who
had dispossessed them. The house of
Yakov will be fire and the house of Ysef
a flame and the house of Asav for straw.
And they will ignite them and devour
them. There will be no survivor to the
house of Asav for Hashem has spoken. And
those of the southland will inherit the
mountain of Asav. And those of the
lowlands will inherit the pleim.
And they will inherit the fields of
Ephraim and the fields of Samaria. and
Benjamin will inherit Gilead, this
exiled host of the children of Israel
who are among the Canaanites until Zer
Zerapath
Zarapath and the exile of Jerusalem
which is in Zafar will inherit the
cities of the south and the saviors will
ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain
of Asav and the kingdom will be
Hashem's.
This is the entire prophecy of the
Navaj. It's in the Tanakh
and in so many words it's even in the
New Testament. But apparently the
pastors skip that one.
That's why I tell people if you really
want to help your friend that's a
gentile that believes in the New
Testament,
you want to help your countrymen
that are following the New Testament.
You want to help them get them to
abandon the New Testament and follow
what the Torah says. Be righteous
Noahites or convert to Judaism.
Whichever one you prefer, whichever one
you can. Either way, abandon anything
else that's not the Torah. Why? Hashem
himself is telling people what's the
end.
What's the end?
The end will come to everyone.
Question is, what's going to what's
going to be your end? Is it going to be
blessing or curse?
Choose wisely.
Well, you may want to call it satanic
verses, but if you believe in the Quran
or you believe in the New Testament,
those so-called satanic verses, they're
in your book also. So,
you're not only ignorant, but um
apparently you're a Satanist.
Since the Torah existed before creation,
did God plan expecting
sin and meat eating after the flood and
how does this fit with our free will? Do
we always have free will? Okay, so those
are a couple of questions as far as did
Hashem or does Hashem know the future?
Yes, Hashem knows the future, but he
does not interfere with your decisions.
Just because he knows the future does
not mean that he will manipulate your
choices. So, for example, as I've given
this example many times over the years,
let's say I tell you that I know the
future and I'm going to prove it to you
by writing down on a little piece of
paper what you're going to do this whole
week and then we take you don't see the
paper. No one else sees the paper, but
we take it, we put it in an envelope,
and then we put it in a safe and only
you have a key to that safe. So, you
know there's no manipulation, there's no
cheating, there's no nothing. and you go
about your life. You live your week. You
go to work. You go on vacation. You do
whatever it is that you do. At the end
of the week, you come, you bring some
cameras, you bring the media to make
sure that everybody sees. It's either
you're going to be exposing the rabbi or
you're going to be promoting the rabbi.
You're going to see what would happen
here. So they open up the safe and they
take out the note and you start reading
and then you start realizing that
everything that I wrote is exactly what
you did the whole week to the detail to
the smallest detail minute by minute.
Now the fact that I knew the future did
that interfere with your choice? No. In
essence, it's the same concept as Hashem
knowing the the future. So Hashem gives
everybody choices to make. You have the
choice to make in regards to doing what
Hashem says or going against what Hashem
says.
Everything is from heaven except the
fear of heaven. Meaning Hashem does not
force you to serve him. You can decide
to go against him. You'll get punished
for it, but you can decide to do bad
because if he controlled your choices,
then there's no reason to punish you and
there's no reason to reward you. You're
simply a robot. So gives everybody the
ability to choose whatever they want.
Now as far as free choice,
everyone does have free choice, but it's
not really free. It's like I just said,
there's reward and punishment. But
there is an exception. There is an
exception that the Rambam brings. And
it's also in other of course that a
person can get to a level of such high
level of wickedness
that Hashem punishes them with the worst
possible punishment in this world which
is removing their ability to do chuva
meaning
like he hardened his heart. He was not
able after he made a lot of bad
decisions a lot of horrible decisions.
Hashem says now you're not even going to
may be able to make the right decision.
Why? I want to punish you even worse. So
this is not standard. This is not
something that happens a uh on a massive
scale. And certainly if you're watching
one of my lectures or even if you're
connect, you know, even remotely
connected to the Torah, you're not part
of those people. Many people think, "Oh,
it's hard for me to do. Maybe I'm one of
those people." No. If you were one of
those people, you wouldn't even think
about Tua. You wouldn't even think about
Tua. But the point is that that is an
exception that exists. But the general
public, everybody else, everyone, as
long as you're alive, you could still do
chuva.
Why can't you eat chicken and dairy?
Because the sages said no.
And the says that if a person
says that even a and this is
that if a person says I believe in a
Torah I believe it's from but except
this one word and the written or except
this one word in the Talmud or except
even this by one of the sages
that person is considered an aos,
they're considered a heretic and they
lose. So when a sages said ala is you're
not allowed to eat chicken and and um
and um milk and dairy at the same time.
That's it. This is this this be this is
the law. Now, as far as biblical, there
is a difference between a biblical
violation and a uh and a rabbitical
violation when it comes to the type of
punishment that they're going to get.
But needless to say, they're both uh
they're both punishment. They're both
horrible.
uh and uh but the bigger uh the bigger
thing of reason of why uh we say
something is rabbitical or something is
a uh biblical is how we treat it when it
comes to a uh you know puskining
different alas different things that
come from it
where there's room for leniency or or or
obligation for stringency but the basics
of the if it says no Then no, that's it.
It's the end end of story. How can
someone redeem themselves if they swear
on God to stop something but break their
promise? Well, that depends. If let's
say for example a Jew says they'll stop
breaking Shabbat
uh and they continue breaking Shabbat
then they the sin is still only one sin
which is they're breaking Shabbat which
is big enough that they they're going to
lose if they don't do but their swear
was not really a valid swear because
they already swore at Mount Sai. So you
can't swear for things that you're
already obligated to do. But if, let's
say, for example, somebody swears,
somebody vows that they're going to
start keeping Shabbat an extra hour
every week and they uh they decide that
they don't want to anymore, they can't
anymore, then they have to go in front
of a in front of and get the uh the vow
uh canled because the says that if
somebody makes a vow and they forsake
it, they uh risk losing uh you know
their not only their own life but other
you know their wife's life, their
children's life. So it's not it's a big
deal. Now if the person is not Jewish,
then there is no concept of vows for
non-Jews. Simply they should just learn
how to say uh what they mean and mean
what they say. But there's no uh concept
of vows for non-Jews.
Is eggs and cheese forbidden? I'm asking
for a friend.
I love those f those friends. I don't
even understand why why you even um add
that part. But uh anyway, yes, you're
allowed to eat eggs and cheese.
Egg is not considered uh meat.
They're considered parv.
Why is there a difference between
righteous Noah Hide and a righteous Jew?
Also, why is a heretic Jew still
considered a Jew and an apostate?
So, the difference between a righteous
nohide and a righteous Jew is
monumental. Why? Because a righteous Jew
has to follow the Torah that applies to
them which is fulfilling the law. Which
means to put on every day, means doing,
means to keep Shabbat, means to keep
kosher, means to, you know, do or
fulfill the entire Torah. Uh whereas a
righteous gentile, not only they don't
uh fulfill all of what the Jew does, but
they're not even allowed to. Even if
they want to, they're not allowed to
keep Shabbat. The Rambam says that a a
nohide that observes Shabbat is uh
considered a thief and acquires a
heavenly death penalty instead. It's a
sin for a nohide to keep Shabbat. Uh so
uh there it's it's it's a very big
difference between the two because their
obligations are different. Now, as far
as a heretic Jew still being considered
a Jew, that means that once a person
either was born to a Jewish mother or
converted a legitimate conversion,
there's no removing that Judaism from
them, meaning they're going to be judged
as a Jew, even if they're a wicked Jew,
but they'll be judged as a Jew in in in
heaven. They're going to either be
rewarded or punished if they're going
against God. They'll be punished in the
genome for Jews, which is much worse
than the non-Jewish gay, by the way. Uh
the punishment is much worse for Jews
that go against God than uh the
punishment for for everybody else
because their obligation is much more
significant and their blessings are much
more significant if they observe. So a
uh a Jew always gets judged as a Jew
whether they're righteous or wicked and
a non-Jew always gets judged as a
non-Jew whether they're righteous or
wicked. you know, so it's a uh it's not
that uh the Jew that goes against God
becomes a non-Jew. They're treated as a
non-Jew. For example, if a Jew uh you
know desecrates the Shabbat or believes
in an uh in the New Testament in
idolatry, then you treat them like an
idol worshiper when it comes to certain
like for example, you can't give them a
wine uh that's uh uncooked wine to to
pour for you because it's considered as
if that wine as soon as they touch that
wine, it's considered as if it's wine of
idolatry. You can't uh use them as a
witness for any Jewish ceremony. uh you
uh you simply treat them as an idol
worshipper even though they're they're a
Jew but because of their behavior they
are treated as a non-Jew
and they will be judged in heaven as a
Jew but here in this world they're
treated as a non-Jew so long as they
don't do chuva once they do cha they get
treated in the same fashion as every
righteous Jew out there uh on the other
hand with the uh with the noahides if
the noid follows the laws that apply to
them because Hashem says so, they'll be
rewarded and they'll have
uh you know, but if they uh don't follow
them, they'll get punished severely. And
in fact, Rambam says that even if no
follows the laws of that apply to them,
not because Hashem said so, but rather
because it makes sense to them. Makes
sense to them not to kill. It makes
sense to them not to steal. It makes
sense to them not to commit adultery.
then not only will they not be rewarded
for it, uh, but they're not even
considered a righteous nohide. They're
considered a fool.
You don't need to ask questions that ask
if you have permission to ask a
question. Just ask and if I see it, I'll
answer.
Why have the takenote to forbid a
convert to enter the Syrian community
uh have not been revoken? You have to
ask the rabbis of the Syrian community
that question. I've spoken against it
many times. Ra spoke against it and even
went to the Syrian community leaders
multiple times to remove that horrible
taka and they refused to listen even to
Raadya. If they don't want to listen to
vanya, you think that uh some nobody
like me can can help. Even though we
have boem, many wonderful people that
watch our shuim that have done chuva uh
that we've helped from the Syrian
community, you know, and uh to this day,
many of them, but uh unfortunately the
the community has many good people in
it. uh but um you know there's a certain
type of uh leadership that refuses to
listen to about that. It's uh it's
unfortunate.
I can assure you it's not helping the
community not like it used to.
Many people that have uh
intermarriage
simply decide to remain intermarried
rather than do chuva and convert their
uh their spouse. Even when the spouse
wants to convert, why? Because it's the
strangest thing in the world. But as
long as the guy, even if he's marrying a
non-Jewish girl,
they'll accept him in the shul, they'll
give him an aliyah. But if the
non-Jewish girl converts to Judaism,
they no longer give him an aliyah.
Meaning he has done chuva and he's
getting punished for it. That's how
foolish that takana is. It's a it's it's
a horrible thing. And I think the only
way for it to be removed is if the
community itself, the leaders of the
community itself go to the rabbis and
tell them this is not
this is not what we want. Uh Rab Vadia
said already uh multiple times that they
should uh cancel that taka and uh the
the situation of the community itself is
not being improved because of that taka.
It's many people are uh are are very
upset about it, but they're not doing
enough about it. So, if I don't know who
you are, but if you want to do something
about it, publicize this message to as
many of them as possible and get your
community to speak to the rabbis and uh
you know, and and and change it.
Do you go to Aatam in Baltimore
in Baltimore? I have no idea what that
is. I'm sorry. No, not familiar. I'm not
from Baltimore.
So if specific fish are considered
kosher, why do some fish eat other
animals that aren't kosher?
Because the animal is hungry and the
animal does not need to keep kosher.
Only the Jewish people have to keep
kosher, not the animals.
Some people convert for the wrong
reasons. Uh yes, some people convert for
the wrong reasons, but many don't.
I would even dare to say the majority of
people that convert
do not convert for the wrong reasons.
So, it's just like a uh saying uh some
people uh steal. So, you're not going to
do business anymore because some people
steal. Some people lie. So, what? You're
not going to talk to anybody cuz some
people lie. You can't punish uh a bunch
of uh you know the the everyone because
of the uh bad acts of a few
especially when the Torah has countless
uh verses in the Torah 36 verses in the
Torah that specifically say how much
Hashem loves the converts protects the
converts and and takes revenge against
anyone that goes against converts. So,
uh, this, like I said, this is not
bringing the Syrian community a
blessing. I could assure you of that. It
may have helped them in the past, but
once Rab Vadia said it's no longer
relevant, that's it. Posan in this
world, they pas in Sham the same way.
And I know from experience, I deal with
a lot of people and a lot of people from
the Syrian community contact me on a
regular basis. Every week I have people
from the Syrian community contacting me
and very often they come up with this
issue. This issue, you know, they uh he
has a non-Jewish girlfriend, she has a
non-Jewish boyfriend, uh and they want
to fix it, but they're scared of getting
thrown. It's a it's a horrible thing.
Horrible thing. Many many of them. Not
not one, not two, not five, not 10,
many.
And on a regular basis there's new ones
coming up.
No, we're not bringing anybody up on the
live. Sorry, not interested.
Can you elaborate on the prophecy from
what it means in our days? I just read
it 10 minutes ago means that people that
go against Hashem that have hurt the
Jewish people
are going to get punished that their day
is going to come and in fact there's a
whole movie that uh we've been working
on for several months that's going to be
posted next week the war of go the war
of the worlds and this will be this will
come out for everyone on Tuesday uh
night. Uh for people that are paid
subscribers to our YouTube channel,
they'll get early access to it. Um and
uh anyone that wants to could do that.
But uh the point is is that uh you'll
see that uh there are dozens and dozens
of sources from all spectrums of the
Torah from Tanakh from Navi from from
the written Torah the oral Torah
the Z uh the Mishna all over the place
talking about the inevitable uh
destruction of the uh enemies of am the
enemies of God and Um
unfortunately uh most people are not
aware. So this is coming out Tuesday
night.
I have Rabbi I've been working on
watching my eyes. Please can you say
what sigula is?
protecting your eyes
is protecting your not understanding
what what you mean with a skoola. I
mean, if you're talking about what
benefits a person gets as a result of
protecting their eyes, they if they
protect their eyes, it's going to be
much more uh uh possible for them to
protect their bleet. And if they protect
their bleet, then uh they'll have all of
the greatest blessings of the Torah come
upon them whe you know whether it's a uh
monetary uh you know zoo uh all types of
uh literally they're they're the I have
a whole shure about it that I did a
couple years ago um where we went over I
think I don't know maybe a hundred
different sources of how many blessings
a person that protects
uh gets it's unbelievable. They're
literally uh teach us that they become
literally like glorified like a king
like higher than the angels. Uh but
that's only if they protect their bleet.
That's only if they protect their bleet.
And of course they cannot protect their
bleet if they don't protect their eyes.
One of the simple things that uh that uh
you benefit from as far as protecting
your eyes is that you're less likely to
sin. you're going to remember your uh
Torah that you learn. Um but again, it's
not uh just closing your eyes all the
time. It's making sure that uh also you
protect the issues of kadusha.
If you want more details, you can watch
that lecture.
Hey Rabbi, I'm back earlier.
I as I asked if I wanted to start
putting on to fillin, but it was too
expensive for me to afford a set. What
can I do?
Uh, well, if you're Jewish, you're
obligated to put on to fill in every
day. If you're not Jewish, you're
forbidden for putting on tillin every
day or at all. Uh but if you're Jewish,
you have to get fine. If you can't
afford them, then uh you could still go
to synagogue and uh after somebody else
finishes using them, you can ask them to
borrow the feeling to put on to do the
mitzvah.
Yeah. They won't give it to you to take
home, but you put it on few minutes and
then put it off and do the blessing and
then put it take it off and start saving
money to buy.
How to navigate differentic opinions of
eating at other homes like Ashkenazi and
Safhari with though we should judge
kosher Jews as keeping kosher.
Well, if you are a safari Jew,
uh then uh you have to make sure that uh
you uh if if it's if you're eating meat,
you know, you eat at a place uh if you
know, you eat people that give kosher
meat only, that's a uh um that's beta.
Uh but if you're eating at uh a
Ashkanazi Jews house, if it's chicken,
that's no problem. Uh if it's meat, then
make sure that it's it's it's glut,
which most of the meat that's out there
that they buy is usually glut if you
want to rely on that. Uh but the point
is is that they uh you know, you have to
make sure that you eat at only at, you
know, people that are religious, not
just people that just keep say they keep
kosher.
You know, if somebody's in Shabbat,
you're not allowed to eat their food.
Now to you know to trust them is that
their food is kosher.
If I have a local rabbi is it
permissible to no longer participate in
online shim and stick only to one's
local rv?
It depends of what kind of local RV you
have and it depends what kind of shim
you're watching. If the local RV that
you have is a very good RV that teaches
you a teaches the truth and he covers
and teaches you everything that you need
to know uh then by all means but if uh
the local RAV that you have is not doing
that then you need to get as much as
possible uh elsewhere. And if that's lo
online shimm then get it from online
shim. If that's getting a another rabbi,
then get another rabbi. Whatever you
have to do, do. You know, so it's just
because somebody lives next to you
doesn't make them uh, you know, better
or worse. Depends on a case- by case
basis.
I have to work on Saturdays, but can
still do Shabbat on Sunday. If you're a
Jew, you're not allowed to work on
Shabbat. and I'll work on Saturday. If
you're a non-Jew, you can work whenever
you want.
Rabbi, where can I send my staka? Uh,
you can go and you can donate on our
website, which is b e zm.org
or bh tora bht t o r ah.org.
Uh and uh you could donate online or if
you want you could uh send a check and
on those websites there is a address of
where you could send it to um and you
could send a check or you could wire the
money. You could also donate
cryptocurrency if you want online.
There's lots of ways to donate.
People that are on YouTube, you could
donate through uh the YouTube right now.
People that are on Facebook, you could
donate through Facebook.
There's plenty of ways. And if you
haven't figured it out how to do it, you
could just simply contact me privately
and I'll send you the links.
Send me a message and I'll send you
links when I get a chance.
Do you want my spirit changed too,
Rabbi? I don't want anything. When you
donate, you're helping yourself. You're
not helping me. You're not uh enriching
me. I don't take the money.
How do we contact you privately? You
could send a message.
Uh you could send a message and if uh
and if I see that uh it's a message I
want to answer to and I have time to
answer to then I answer it. One
recommendation
is don't send a long message. Don't send
a long message. Send short messages,
quick questions. I tried my best to get
to them.
Where does the money go if I send it to
you? It goes to the organization
bestheashem.org.
If you uh look at if you want to know
the details of our financials, you can
go on guidestar.org and you can see our
public financial report.
As a non-Jew, can I connect to Hashem
just as strongly as a Jew can?
Depends what kind of Jew. If you're
talking about a uh connecting to Hashem
and a uh as far as through your prayer
and um you know, yeah, sure you
everybody could talk to Hashem.
Everybody could pray to Hashem. But if
you're talking about being considered in
the same level as a righteous Jew that
keeps mitzvah, then no.
If you're talking about uh you know like
a wicked Jew, then of course even more
than them.
But um
it's not there's no equality.
Torah doesn't believe in equality.
There's no equality between genders.
There's no equality between young and
old. There's no equality be between the
ignorant and the uh scholarly. There's
no equality.
Equality is man-made falsehood.
If we pass by a Jewish cemetery in a
non-Jewish cemetery every day, do we
have to recite the blessings of seeing
the Jewish grave and the verse from your
meow each daily? No. You usually not
going through the cemetery. You're going
around it. So, it's not considered uh
something you have to do uh blessing
for.
What if I got fired for keeping Shabbat
and removed from participating in a $8
million contract as a result?
That's a big uh it's a big test. It's a
big merit. It's
good for you.
How does a uncertified gale approach a
bet midlash? Do I just knock on the door
and ask for the rabbi?
I don't know what you mean by
uncertified g. If you have not
converted, then you're not a gale. You
are somebody that wants to be a gale.
You are somebody that wants to convert.
And if you want to convert um then you
have to go to the bedin and uh ask them
uh you know how what's the process of
conversion and they'll probably
recommend for you to uh study with a uh
some rabbi
uh for conversion program of some kind
or to do some self-study which they'll
test you on depending on the bedin. But
as far as uh going to the bet midash,
every bet midash has different rules.
But most of them are not going to tell
not going to welcome a non-Jew to come
study with them unless they trust them
that this person is serious about
conversion and they get the okay from
the rabbis.
There are many religions and everyone
calls God different names. how I believe
that Hashem is the only one because
that's what the Torah says. If you
look at the major religions of the
world, you know, you have a uh Judaism,
you have Islam, and you have different
versions of Christianity, Catholicism,
Protestants, and so on. Now,
this is where the majority of the world
worships. And of course there are over
80,000 cults and religions in India and
there's all types of other unusual ones
but the major religions are Judaism,
Christianity and Islam. Now
the Jews are who got the Torah. Muhammad
didn't get the Torah. Yeshu did not get
the Torah. Uh Peter, Paul, they didn't
get the Torah. The Jewish people got
Tora. Mosher Rabenu got the Torah.
Mount Sai was a public event and it's
written about in a Torah. Now
you have the Torah given to Amish is
3,335
years ago.
Only about 1,400 years later did a
heretic Jew called Yeshu or as they call
him Jesus
um decide to go against the Torah and
make people follow him. Now he himself
did not start a religion called
Christianity. He just simply decided to
make himself a leader of as if it's a
new version of Judaism.
And anywhere between 70 to 300 years
after he died
uh did the Christianity become invented
by people that never saw him by people
that never spoke to him uh all the
people that wrote the New Testament um
lived many years after he died. They
never saw him. Now those people in
essence started this whole Christianity.
Jesus at his time, he was thinking that
he's following Jews and his original
followers were Jews.
Now, the New Testament is not something
that came from nothing. What they're
saying is that the Torah, which is the
the five books of Moses and the writings
and the prophets, this is 24 total
books, that they call all of that the
Old Testament. So, that's in essence for
them. for us. That's it. For them,
that's part one. And then they invented
a new thing that's man-made that was not
given at Mount Sai, that was not given
by God. Just a bunch of people decided
to write it. And they say that's part
two. Now, even though if something has a
part one and a part two, that means that
the two should agree with each other.
But the New Testament contradicts the
Torah. Says the opposite of the Torah.
says that the covenant is is null and
void and so on and so forth as if God
changed his mind or it says that they
humanized God. They turned God into a
human being uh or in a trinity and all
that nonsense. But needless to say, they
do not say that the Torah is false.
They just say that there is a
continuation that change things. So if
somebody
uses their mind, they'll realize that
logically it is statistically possible
for one option, both to be true. That's
one possibility.
Second possibility is for both to be
false.
Third possibility would be for Judaism
to be true, the Torah being true, and
Christianity false.
What's not possible is for the New
Testament to be true and the Old
Testament, the Torah to be false. Why?
Because the New Testament depends on the
truth of the Old Testament of the Torah.
So if the Torah is false, by default,
the New Testament would be false. So
here you see that statistically possible
even without investigating the verses
and being a scholar and you already know
that the chances of truth are guaranteed
to be higher with the Torah. The same
goes with the Quran. The the uh New
Testament started 2,000 years ago. The
uh Quran started about 1,400 years ago.
And the Quran just like the New
Testament copies from the Torah where
they say the Jews got the Torah Mount Si
they also believe in the New Testament
to a certain extent and then they came
and they say there are in essence like a
third book a continuation. So again you
have the same exact issue here. You have
possible chance everything is false.
Possible chance everything is true.
possible chance
that the Torah is true and the Quran is
false. So already you see that the uh
chances of Judaism being true are much
higher than anything else. Now of course
this is just simple statistics. Now if
you actually want to spend some time
researching the subject, I have many
lectures about it. There are many books
about it. If you truly research a topic,
it will be impossible for you to ever
arrive at a conclusion that the Torah
was written by anyone other than God.
It's impossible for such a book to be
written by a human being. There are
certain informations in it, not only
prophecies of things that happen in the
future, but information that could not
be given by anyone other than God. For
example, in this week's Torah portion,
God tells us that you have the kosher
animals and the non-cooser animals. And
in order for kosher fish and non-cooser
fish. Now, in order for something to be
considered a kosher fish, they have to
have fins and scales. Fins and scales.
But if something has just fins and no
scales, it's not kosher.
But you will never find
anything that just has scales and no
fins. So here the Torah is in essence
telling us something about
the species of the world. There are
countless countless different types of
fish. 40 50,000 have already been
discovered.
So, whoever wrote this book has absolute
certainty that no fish would ever exist
in all of history, past, present, or
future, that will just have scales
without fins.
So, here you see that this is something
that cannot be written by a a person
because if it was written by a person,
you could easily go find. Is there
something? But no, no one's ever found
such a fish. The same goes with the
animals. There are certain rules of the
animals. They have to chew their cut and
have a split hoove. Uh and I have a
whole film about this different
scientific evidence that the Torah is
divine. The Torah is from the one and
only God. No other book has such a
thing. Not the New Testament, not the uh
Quran, not the stuff from uh the
teachings of Buddha, not from Aristotle
and all the world of philosophers, not
any other book in existence has the
scientific evidence, mathematical
evidence, archaeological evidence, and
prophecy that the Torah has. Nothing
even comes close. So if you actually
study the the topic, you'll see that not
only is the Torah divine, but the oral
Torah, which includes the Talmud, is
also divine. Because the oral Torah, the
Talmud has information in it that is not
something that a human being can ever
know
unless we got it from God, from the
creator. For example, the Talmud page 32
B uh says that the number of stars the
number of stars in the universe
this is something that at the time the
Tamud was written about 16700 years ago
the telescope was not invented yet that
only came over a thousand years later
but yet they had a knowledge of the
number of stars in the entire universe
something that modern day science only
arrived at a close number to it only in
the last 20 years.
So even when the telescope came out,
they were only able to see only a few
stars. They weren't able to see as much
as we can see today with the big
telescopes they have and the machinery
they have. Uh and even now they still
can't see everything. But the point is
is that the number of stars are in the
Talmud. the uh different scientific
evidence that are in the written and the
oral Torah are beyond the possibility of
them coming from human knowledge or
intellect. So the more you investigate
that the more you'll see in my on my
YouTube channel there is playlists and
one of the playlists is I think it says
playlist for beginners
uh and you'll there's several lectures
there several films there start over
there and you'll see that there's more
than enough information there not only
to educate you but that you can build
upon that you could go try researching
further if you want. I don't think you
need to, but by all means, you could
research further and you'll see that not
only that the Torah is from God, but the
God of Israel, the God of the Torah is
the only God and there is no other God.
A Jewish lawyer wants to help me. I have
proof of being fired for keeping
Shabbat. May I sue or should I remove
the or would that remove the merit of
being fired for keeping Shabbat?
Um I mean if you're suing non-Jews,
you're you're allowed to sue non-Jews uh
in a court, but uh would it uh would it
remove the merit? Not necessarily.
I mean, I think that uh it's a very hard
case to to win nowadays, but um by all
means
Well, Rabbi, I'm Moroccan Deist. I am
trying to convert. I'm learning Hebrew
and keeping Shabbat all alone. and I
want to know what to do since I don't
have access to any Jewish community in
my city. You'll have to move to a
different city in Morocco. There's
actually uh several big synagogues that
are active in Morocco. You need to find
a way to get there and uh hopefully they
could try to help you with conversion if
you're genuine, if you're serious about
it.
Let's
see.
There's a website say that they give
free feline. Is it legit?
Ask them.
about the forces of impurity being
stronger than ever and heretics
harnessing the their power.
Will we start seeing false miracles and
prophecies that come true?
That doesn't seem to be happening yet,
at least publicly. Yes.
Yeah.
There's already some stuff happening,
but uh it'll become worse.
Can I choose my own Ashkafa?
As long as it's in accordance to it,
it says fine. But um if it's against the
Tawad then no
there's there's only one Ashkafa if it's
the proper Ashkafa
if it's against the Tawan it's not it's
not considered it's considered heresy
What happened to the billions of agents
believing in Buddha and other idols? As
the prophet says, twothirds of the world
will be destroyed initially and the last
third will be um purified. Meaning that
only a part of the last third will
survive.
If you want to know more details,
there's a film that is coming out on
Tuesday night. It's going to be on our
YouTube channel.
Uh and uh it's going to be it's called
Gogu Magog, the War of the Worlds. It'll
be about an hour and 40 minutes full of
dozens of sources from all parts of the
Torah
and um
that you can investigate further if you
like. But it gives you everything on a
silver platter and uh it'll tell you
exactly what the final war will look
like, how to be saved from it, what you
should do, and what is really chuva.
What is chuva? What does it mean to do
chuva? So is keeping Shabbat mean you
did chuva? No, it's not enough. Is being
modest considered chuva? No, it's not
enough. Chuva is much more than that.
Chuva is much more than that. And most
people do not know. And uh you'll see
the sources for that too.
Okay,
it's been a couple of hours. We've
answered the questions.
We have given some new insights. I'm
hoping that everybody listens to the
first hour at least of the show at least
a few times and applies as much of it as
possible. As a reminder, anyone that uh
wants to support could go to our website
bzashem.org.
Anyone that wants to get one of these
for free, one of these for free, could
order some of our books on our Kiru
store, which are also free, distribute a
bunch of them, send us at least four
pictures of four different locations
that they put they distributed the
books. They send it to us and we'll send
them one of these for free. If you want
to buy one of these or 10 of these or so
on, you could also buy them on our
website. Uh you get a volume discount.
This is the best tool in the history of
Kiru to help Amisha. It has 19 hours of
Torah in it. This is our top films from
Hashem took back his millions. The Gum
film Ke signature of God. Uh the story
of the butcher. Uh the great escape by
Rabbi Fraim. uh the uh world of lies
uh organ all of the major films we've
had over the last 10 years are on this
high quality in so many and also it has
music in it has our uh many of over I
don't know 30 or so uh 20 30 of our
chuva music songs so in so many words
you have entertainment you have kizuk
you have
easy access to
help somebody. Simply do chuga without
doing anything. All you got to do, you
give them one of this, they open it.
They don't even have to press any
buttons because it turns out by itself.
Starts off with a great song. You can
press
the button. If you want to skip the
song, you go to the next one. First
track is the film Hashem Took Back His
Millions. After watching this film,
everybody changes. Everybody improves.
Everybody gets kizuk. After that, you go
to the next film, but we want to give
you some entertainment first. So, we
give you another song.
Enjoy the song. You need some more
kizuk. Go to the next one, next film,
and you're going to get tikunit. After
anybody watches, male, female, watches
the film. Tikkunet changes their life.
Why? They understand the significance of
kaduca. Not just because of the sins and
the tuma and the uh you know punishments
but scientifically
a uh it it's you see what it causes to
society. So this is the next film. After
you finish that, you get the shock of
your life. You go to the next thing. Of
course, we have to give you another
song. Calm you down. Give you some
imuna. Finish with that.
You go to the next one. We give you
another film.
Little logo, little promo
and chauff to give you an idea of what
the Mashiach is going to
sound like before he comes. It's going
to be sharot and then you get a film
little promo.
You get this is the film that I talked
about how it has the scientific proofs
that the God of the Torah is the only
God. This is a signature of God. It's a
fantastic film that uh is full of
information
that came from a expert
scientist.
All I did is narrate it. He did the
research. He has the proofs, the
documents and so on. And it has more and
more. But you guys get the point. This
Abu Tayim is three years worth of work
to get this product, but 10 years worth
of work to get the content. It is the
best possible tool that exists to help
people do Chuva. It's better than
YouTube. It's better than the USBs. It's
better than anything else. Why? Because
this is appropriate for the generation.
And it doesn't require anybody to do
anything. All they got to do is just
open it. And everybody likes it. We went
out to celebrate a sum
a few days ago. Went with the family and
of course you can't go anywhere without
doing kiru. So, I brought a couple of
these in case I see somebody
and boem I don't go out very often, but
uh once in a blue moon I leave the cave
and we went out and of course as soon as
we came, somebody saw me, said hello.
Another person said hello. Then another
person started asking me questions about
the cash advance business.
Then another person said something funny
about the cash advance business.
Pretended like a uh you know want to
bless. Long story short,
we enjoyed our time, but then we got to
go to work. What do we got to go to
work? Went to the few people that said
hello to me. Talked to them a little
bit, gave some blessings, and I said,
"Here's a present." Gave them a couple
of these
and they opened it. Literally it changed
their not only changed their their their
their
time. It changed their entire night.
They started watching it in the
restaurant. The whole restaurant became
null and void. Nothing mattered anymore.
The whole table I don't think they had
boem 10 15 people on that table. I think
other people came also started watching
it. Started watching Hashem took back
his million. Started watching other
things in the restaurant. It was
literally the whole trip was worth it
just for that. So it works. It works. I
cannot emphasize enough to tell you guys
how it works. One of my dear students in
London just got it today. He says this
is the greatest thing in the world. It's
it's unbelievable. And he's already a
student. He's already watching all my
shuim. But he says this is something
amazing. Another student in Germany just
got it also I think today. Uh in in
Israel they're supposed to get it in the
next couple of days. All over America.
People love it. The people that have
gotten it love it. I've gotten feedback
from many of them and there's not a
single person that says they don't like
it. It's helping people. And the wisest
investment a person can make is to get
as many of these as they can and give
them to people in their community.
Jewish people in the synagogue, people
in the uh supermarket, people in the uh
you know, whatever. All Jewish
establishments. Give this to people if
you want to save souls. Why? There's no
tool that ever existed that will be as
effective as what you have here.
It works and it's not something that uh
you could easily replicate.
This
is a gift from
for the generation for those people that
are smart enough to support it to get as
many of them to distribute it.
We succeed,
we distribute millions of these
will do and we're able to celebrate the
Torah day in day out
with happiness
and really listen to the words of the
Torah that we heard today, especially
during the first hour of the obligation
to be happy for doing mitzvot
every mitzvah,
every mitzvah. And until we get to that
point, we're simply not doing enough.
Tune in to the movie coming out next
week, Go Magog film.
It'll certainly give you a new
perspective of what to prioritize in
your life today. And hopefully it'll get
you and everybody else that you know to
watch it and to do chuva and to spread
it. If there's nine billion people in
the world, all nine billion people watch
it.
Every one of them does.
We're finally here. The new Kiru box,
opens up. Got a nice little cushion
here.
I got
Let's see if it's charged.
>> Isn't that amazing? Still bless your
life.
>> Now available at.com.org.

org. Get yourself 20 of them, 30 of
them, 50 of them. distribute them to all
the people that you care about
and you get people to do the chuba.
