This Story Could Heal a Divided Israel

What happens to you when you see someone that >> [music] >> seems to be desecrating God's name? What's the first thought that happens deep down inside? [music] There's a story about Reb Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev that he saw someone smoking on Shabbos. And he came up to the person and he asked [music] him, "My my sweet friend, my sweet brother, you know it's Shabbos today, right?" So the Yid listener said, "Of course I know it's Shabbos today." And right away Reb Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev turns to the heavens and he says, "Master of the world, you see how holy and precious [music] your children are? That even while they're being pretty naughty, they still haven't forgotten for one [music] second that you rested on the seventh day of creation." Friends, these seem like cute stories that that are impossible to live with, but I think that if we [music] each swallow a bigger dosage of a Berditchev pill and look at people like that, I don't know, it just seems to me that it's the answer to so many of our problems.
