Tribute R' Yitzchak Arnold -Shliach, & student of PR & Rebbe - brought 1st tape of R to Lub y 1955

arnold known as rabbi arnold robbie arnold passed away yesterday and they flew him to los angeles where he was actually for 50 years or so and uh i personally knew him when i was a student at the yeshiva as an older student as a shliyak and then later when i lived there but my family goes back with with him to the nineteen fifties and even my grandfather had to do with his father's let me tell you a little bit about him arnold was born in 1929 he was born in the lower east side his father uh radasanotta was usually called nota on nutella came to this country i believe in 1910 from stanislav galicia the family the paternal side were khasidim the particular branch known as chartkov the chart covered by the chart cover was a branch of the helicopter abuse role of regime friedman the shloken after there was the terrible murderer in in in safria rahabad and others they all remember they were all part of that group so they brought a tape too but my father said that he remembers hearing that robbie arnold came into yeshiva and he had a tape and they all stood around listening to the rebels voice so that's a great host that he was the first one to bring a tape of the rabbit to the yeshiva and wood in 1955-56 he also told my father interesting thing this must have been 1960 or so because of arnold married hannah arnold of eric's role in 1960 mrs arnold who passed away last year was a tremendous mechanic as an educator loved by all the children and has thousands and thousands of students who went through her years of education remember they came to los angeles in the uh early to mid 1970s and she was already connected to a school there and later when the haider the chabad hater opened in 1977 she transferred to the hader and was the one of their first teachers and had was teaching since then but in 1960 my father in 70 and he said he showed my father his new suit that he bought because he was going to be meeting his collar his future collar and he said oh it cost me ten dollars and normally a suit even then cost thirty forty dollars uh and and he got a great bargain and he was you know so beautiful and also he was so proud to to show my father that he's you know really hoping that this will be the the shidduch and it was the shidduch of his life and he had a beautiful family beautiful beautiful family boys girls uh all married uh mostly married and um a beautiful family yeah yeah anyway the the uh probably arnold's father that it was known as nutella and what do i say that my zeta my grandfather my my mother's stepfather while the flame of menasha viruslav was his name he was a survivor he davened at what was called rabbi konshu the was a block away from where we lived in east flatbush we lived at clarkson east 55th you go one one one long block there was a big show on the corner it was known as rabbit cone school rabbit cone was one of the only rabbinim at that time who gave khalissa he did khalitsa which is the idea of the then you gave the championship five dollar bill and i i i remember him i remember he was he was a short person i remember him i remember even his voice i even remember till today his voice very very beautiful person and he was the the father of rabbi arnold rabbitshaw became a shliyakh of the rebel in the 70s in los angeles when he opened uh to ferris akanem basically the rebel called for uh programs with senior citizens and he took this on upon himself and he worked under a bakunin he was an official of the rebbe under rabbi cunanan and he worked for years faithfully learning with people i remember seeing him learning with people a group of russian people and elderly people in base labor yitzcar congregation basically yitzhak and he did this for years and he did it faithfully so rabbi arnold was someone who was dedicated in 1981 on your base tamus he invited us of the yeshiva the bakr into his house it was shabbos and he had a full meal and he had good muscular scotch and and he told us so many stories about the previous citadels youth-based thomas he lived with you the base thomas because that was in his blood from his childhood in yeshiva barak hashem he was 93 years ago although not as old as his father's father i think was 106 110 i don't know he was it was over 100 for sure and um he passed one year less than a year after his wife passed away the children the grandchildren the great-grandchildren continue his legacy of being a husset of the rabbayim of being a shliyakov and dedicated to title mitzvahs with ava love with kindness made it to the summer of
