Well, actually Zalman was the Reb's man in Audi. He was the one that brought the message of the Reb to Rab and he had a relationship with him, didn't he? A warm relationship. Yes. And most of the time the Reb would meet with Rabbit would meet by the FB by the And privately too. Privately too. Yes. And uh Zman wasn't there for that. He once told me he once told me that he uh Zman no Rabbi Albert told me that he would he would be the Liz of the Reb to the in he would go to Israel every every year during the summer summer vacation to Switzerland and then two weeks in Israel. So he told me that when it the reb once asked them if he can be persuaded to speak to the masses of they should come out with a call from a proclamation that people should put on. Yeah. Meth was that way. So the rabbi the rabbis most of the rabbis there were swaying towards his opinion because would have to be a vote or right towards rabbit. Yeah. Rabbi tit saw this and he was another opinion. He says how can how can you dance at this time when there's right? So there was a a rabbi there a rabbi a rabbi he was there and he said sobb said and eating you can't and you're able to eat and you're able to sleep. So I said okay I'll do it. So I had to give it in by 2:00 the next day. And this is uh for Shabba the next. And uh I uh told him I'll do it. He calls Elberg suspected me. So he calls me up at 10:00 and he says, "Well, I should do it." She said, "Look, I got time. I got till 2:00." I said, "Okay." 11:00 he calls me up. He said, "Did you do it?" She said, "I'm on my way." So two one so what 12:00 12:30 he calls me he says what's I'm on my way there's a big it's a big traffic traffic jams as I said after 2:00 he calls me up again he said well you do I said I'll tell you I came mish 5 minutes after two he told me it's too late it's too late and then he says to me he fired me he says look I know the truth he went against all the rabbi I'm going to say the words he used he really bashed me and he says you're fired and uh I so I was fired and this is a shabba sh and I figured what I'm going to talk to send him to the reb now eta you know as to talk about these mundane things right so I waited till Sunday meanwhile when Moshe Thursday night. Thursday found out about it and I spoke with about it Friday. No, no, that they fired you. Yeah. and he says you want tell him to take you back for that he he didn't he didn't agree with Rabbi Elberg firing you and so I said and I said I I I don't know I I have to think about it because I didn't know if I did a good thing or not right and uh you didn't and you wanted to write to the Reb or not I so Sunday I wrote to the Reb and it was after Shabas gracious right I wrote to the Reb and the Reb answered that I spoke about it yesterday and he says I could have come out gave you I could have come out sharper than you did but since now is the time of it's not a time to make so you shouldn't have done it and I a lot of told me you shouldn't have done what you did you know a lot of told you should have not done what you did told you yeah a lot Uhhuh. And so but but the Reb's answer seemed to say the same thing. Yeah. So I looked up what so what he said what he spoke about by the he spoke about that that when there's a certain avid there's two ways to approach it is the way to approach the brings that one time they needed rain took three times took three times it took time until it came says says and the rain came appropriate right away right away immediately. So the was suggesting like this what they wanted what wanted is legitimate is but I wanted it should be faster. So I wanted that was my my I was using so I understood from the that I shouldn't have done it or you know I could since it wasn't against right it was and all that and so I said to I came back to I said you you come back so I came back I came back and but to tell Elbert yeah and what and the told me also you said I don't remember exactly something and also knew about it was also not so enthusiastic about this fast because that's why you know he he was there he listened to them like I said before you want to fast it's not against but because says that you don't speak about these things some I have Yeah. So, so, so I uh Okay. So, I came back. Yeah. The body the the the the the interesting part of it is years later in 1982 or year later no fast. Was it 74? Yeah. Years later, 10 years later, 1982 When I uh when I was uh we came to I went back when I came after Yeah. I came to to I came to before I went to I went in with my wife to say to Rabbi Elber and his wife and we were speaking and in the middle Rabber had a a telephone. He went into the next room to answer it. So we were left myself, my wife and Reverson Elberg. Albert says to me, a PhD, a professor. I want to tell you something. She says to me, I want to tell you something. My my my husband husband could never tell you this, but you should know that time when he fired you or other times when he screams at you and all that, he admires you very much. He doesn't want to he has no bravery. He has to show it or else they say he's so he had to fire you. But he admired you very much for your courage.
