Clarification re petting cats & walking dogs - Didn't mean to insult anyone - Rabbi Chaim Dalfin

Just wanted to clarify the video I made yesterday about petting cats and walking dogs. There's been a lot of chatter about it, a lot of comments, positive, negative. The first thing is my intent and my heart was not to hurt anybody. Number two, although it was triggered by a video that a certain rabbi kabad rabbi made, it wasn't intended for him or for me. It was t it was intended for everybody really. And the objective of the video was how do we prepare for which is the Kabad Crown of Holidays. And when I was thinking about it and the video came across my phone and in discussion with my friends, it was very clear to us that we have a tradition, the M the Messiah, the Kabad tradition. That's all. Pets are wonderful. And I wasn't speaking Jewish law and which people have commented. I know about that. I wasn't getting into discussions. I wasn't getting into ethical discussions. I was talking about one and one thing only. Do we prepare ourselves for by petting cats? That's all. Now, the the rabbi who made that video, he was COMING FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE. GOD BLESS HIM. I know him. I respect him. He's done wonderful things, many more things than I've done in a in as [clears throat] far as, you know, outreach and things like that. And God bless him, but but let's not lose focus. And I asked around people. He said, "It's strange and weird for a rabbi with, you know, with a long beard and a and a capot and a public speaker and a mashia and a counselor to make a VIDEO PETTING TWO CATS. THAT'S ALL. If you DON'T THINK IT'S WEIRD, NO PROBLEM. No problem." But I didn't see this by K byas by theim. I never saw THEM MAKE TALK AND PET CATS. So it's just like bizarre. Now that's it, you know. Take it as it is, you know. And you can see in the comments that plenty OF PEOPLE THINK THAT WAY TOO. And this isn't uh this isn't an attack on Hmon. It's just what is our tradition. And today more than ever when people decide for themselves what is kabad, what's not kabad, kabad light, kabad colors, it's important to stand up and clarify what the messiah is as we received it from our mashim, who I learned by and who I spent time with. And and that's all I'm doing. And if that's not what you want, no problem. Do it YOUR WAY. BUT DON'T TELL me that this is your Teskisliff. I hope now it's clear. Really, I have I don't have an iota of negativity towards him or anyone else who pets cats. It's just that we need to make sure that we know exactly what's what. Thank you very much.
