hey friends so this is not a political Channel this is not a political this is not a venue where I share political commentary I don't usually get into politics this is a channel about relationships a channel that shares Torah insights a channel that gives tools and insight in becoming your best self however there is a very important and timely issue that has been weighing on me and I feel like I have no Cho choice but to share it with you and that is the h hostage deal taking place every single one of us wants to see every single one of those hostages coming home safe and sound not 33 of them but every single one of them and I pray that every single one of them comes home soon but regarding the hostage deal I'm reminded of Winston Churchill's famous statement that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it God forbid and I fear that Israel is not learning from its own history this is not the first time in Israel's Short history of enemies taking hostages from Israel and then using them to Ransom or bargain their way as a means of power and US negotiating with terrorists is literally empowering them nobody negotiated with the Nazis you we exterminated them why are we assuming that it's acceptable to negotiate with terrorists I understand that we want these hostages home but we want not 33 of them home we want all of them home not in stages all at once and immediately now some of you watching this are thinking well come on be realistic I want to share with you the following video from thebe and I think it's going to give uh some important Insight in how to kind of view this situation the video is in Yiddish but you can take a look at the subtitles for foree for for for our goal is not political peace which is a facade a mirage an illusion our goal is actual peace they should be trying to appeal to God they should recognize and realize we have an inherent strength the existence of Israel as a state the existence of the people of Israel is no short of a of a miracle we're incredibly thankful to the IDF and to men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting their people but why should that all go to waste so we can have an illusion of Peace it's failing to learn from history I pray that every single hostage comes home very soon and I'd like to encourage you to take a moment and pray and pray that God continues to protect his people and releases these hostages every single one of them
