Rabbi YY Jacobson on the resolve and dedication of Ukraine Jewish communities

i was startled i spoke to five jewish leaders in ukraine five rabbis who built communities in sumi chernygov kiev odessa they told me about the experiences of the last few days helping hundreds of jews finding food and shelter giving them emotional encouragement [Music] but i asked them there are 183 in 35 cities in ukraine and that's a husband and a wife and a family of children all of them are citizens of america or israel i asked them how many of them left in the last few weeks the answer was not one of them everyone with their family remained to offer support financial physical emotional to the 350 000 jews living in ukraine this is our moment to open our hearts and give them our support so they can endure during these excruciatingly challenging moments thank you
