I think it's a little controversial really is how about going away from Judaism to come back to come back to it it's interesting question going away we're not talking about going out to like sin by the way is that you meant to like go out and sin like go out and do the wrong things so because that if it's go out in sin then it gets really sticky because you know a lot of people don't think about this but the whole reason of keeping Judaism is the is that we are the M maintenance workers of creation so I don't it's not up to me to go eat pork you know it's not up to me to go do the wrong things you know with the wrong people you know or loose clicking on the internet you know I you that's not up to me we're we're in we're in charge of the maintenance of the creation so if I feel like oh I got to go away from Judaism in order to come back who the hell are you you know you're you're this I know it's about you but it's not about you also it's about you and it's not about you and you so the part of that's about you so there is a part of me there there's a me so what do I do if I'm not feeling it because my mitzvos would be a lot stronger if I could be connected to them but maybe I got to take a walk in order to come back and come back in a way that's real and refreshed so the answer is you're not allowed to you can't just go do whatever the hell you want because you want to refresh your relationship to Judaism because the whole Creations counting on you just not not an option uh but guess what there is a way to hit the refresh button you can hit the refresh button on your Jewish life you know how you do it go away go away get away from Jews just go out and get away from everybody I don't know where you'd go I don't know where you're going to go you could be around Jews just make sure they're not keeping T but like just get out you know do do not break shamas do not break kers do not break sexual laws keep them ba keep keep the main stuff but and you know definitely get your fill on like for shma Isel or something do your do your like absolute bare minimum stuff but otherwise Hit the Road Jack hit the road and go see what life's like out there until you realize that you're that Jews are meant to be together and we're supposed to be communal you know we're individual but we're also part of something PR and Claw or Pro but we also have claw and refresh yourself by disappearing for a few months into go to India I don't care where you go just get out of here stop stop uh complaining about this our crazy communities you got to you it's clear that Jews when you leave them together for too long which is every Community um they develop um kind of communal viruses you know like they create you know they cultural underpinnings cultural over hangings that are that are not healthy you know a lot of not healthy things that happen in any culture leave everyone to their own devices it will get unhealthy so a lot of that lack of Health can um knock you out after a while because think about the Judaism you were raised in or that you were raised in is you know what percentage would you call it that it's totally healthy like MOS Moses would say like wow that's the way to go like how much what percent would you say was that and what percent was just cultural underpinnings of the community and you know what would you give it asking yeah what would you give it what percentage was like Moses would just be like oh that is vibrational sin like you guys you may be 2025 but it is clearly vibrationally in tune with Haren you know what what doesn't seem like what do you say what percentage was cultural stuff and what percentage was really mosha M your upbringing up the community you were raised in mine was 100% cultural because I wasn't raised observant but I was raised amongst Jew it was 100% cultural and 0% Jewish like Moses what no no is not culture oh okay but you're saying from a very pure place I'm not I'm not talking about I'm not talking about that yeah go ahead what was the percentage in your upringing was cultural and what was really true to Torah I'm not asking this question again so anyway um people will find that they have a various ratio of that but all that cultural stuff that's in there for example these P or cultural cultural cultural and you and this is the only mitv the only Mitzvah the only negative Commandment that that we actually beautify think about it every Mitzvah is on a like Kish you make with a beautiful Kish cup you do a hi Hanukah you light candles you make a hi you make a beautiful manura this is this do not shave over the bone over your side bones here don't shave over there so what is this cultural or cultur you have the your payis are just as kosher as mine as long as you have on that bone feel your bone as long as you have you have to have 2 millim on the bone 2 and a half millim so so you have to you should get a three over that area no smaller than a three over your over your the upper Jawbone yeah anyway so if if the cultural judaism's become poison for you if it's poisoning you and ruining your your approach to Judaism so get the hell out and just go somewhere where you can just refresh yourself and come back you still need a community so find a community that that has that works better for you or give up and just hang out that's what I do I I gave up many years ago that I was going to find a community that was as healthy as the kind of Judaism I wanted to live so as soon as I walk walk in the house in my house I close the door and in my house is the Judaism that I dreamed of and I raised my kids in it not sure that was a service to them because they have nowhere else to do it except in our house because they got married and they're married now to the the very cultural Jewish people from their cultural communities and and so basically my my kids are very involved in kiru you know what it means kiru means they're marving their spouses to the way the glazers do Judaism and they seem to be pretty sold on it you should have seen them on porm in fact my my my kids hijacked my wife and I Mo the Shas we're going to go to a party and you mean Moshe my kids are like Mommy and tati you're not going to a party you're not going to your friend's 50th birthday party which was with a great band playing and everything and we want to leave we just spent all of shabas with kids how how much time can you spend with your children so we we wanted to go to this party and my kids are like you're not going and what do they do they threw a party at our house just locked the door and just cranked up the music and I mean they they polished off an entire leader of monkey shoulder with my oldest son-in-law just pouring shots for everybody one after the other after the other bottles of wine coming out the music's blaring full like dancing it turned a trans later became a full trance party till 2 in the morning till 2 in the morning like 4 and a half hours party we totally missed this party we wanted to go to and then they came back the next day and did it again only with all the randoms all the random people coming into the party anyway you guys got the idea so the simple answer is you can't leave you can't stop doing Mitzvah can't stop doing MIT and you can't suddenly do the things that are forbidden people what that's the thing that's for people right no no not necessarily though NE meaning choose just the big stuff the big stuff I said cautious sexuality and and uh the lusts of men right I understand men like me yeah yeah men like these things F 40 what I mean whatever you can go into it so yeah no you can't you can't drop that stuff you got to keep that stuff gotta keep that you got keep up you got to keep you got to keep you can't drop Torah but you can drop Community for a period of time a Jew has to have Community you have to have it it's a necessary evil that you got to be part of CLW what we we love being around we love everybody we're like we go into minions whatever menu we go toaz and we just like here we are you know if we're with the farar him we're kissing our eyes like that you know and if we're with litz Fox we pretend we never smile and if we're with we're in still in the argument with our neighbor yeah we just have a good time and in our home we have our own culture Freedom free expression full you
