welcome to this week's Torah lesson this week's current portions pasture Shifting the question of the week is revealed will we need judges and police officers so in this week's Torah portion passion begins and it says God is giving us a command to establish judges and officers and all the gates of the city to create obviously Law and Order and the question is when mashiach comes are we going to need this is this missile going to apply as well so the river actually brings in the prophets it says Clarity and prophet Isaiah that when when the Messiah comes it says re-establish judges and officers just like in the beginning which means just like obviously it's a little bit different so if you ever ask one second what is the prophet saying there's going to be judges and offers but why do you need judges and officers we know mashiach comes God's going to take away all the impurity so there's not going to be an impurity any sin what's the purpose of judges and officers what are they going to be doing and so the so the answer the question when Michelle comes so we can have judges and officers and the answer is obviously yes we are going to have judges and officers but the question is what are they going to do and Europe explains beautifully because as follows now when this generation unfortunately the judges and the officers are there to make sure we don't go overboard and we don't get out of control the purpose is going to be to create more good so for example we know that in order to establish the new moon Messengers have to come once they see the new moon so who's going to create a path and who's going to help them get there in an expedited manner that's going to be the job of the judges and the officers so we will have judges we will have officers but they're going to be do doing great and beautiful things for the Jewish people thanks so much for joining us for our weekly tour lesson this week's Torah lessons dedicated memory of barking area May the souls be elevated it's horrible studying in a memory have a great and blessed week for more information please see our website swf.org
