welcome to this week's class Onis this week we're learning a beautiful powerful deep discourse in the Reb the name of the discourse is called the Reb said this discourse that year was also it was the 27th day of the month ofat it was also the shabas that blessed the month of Adar in the year which is 73 years ago just a brief intro to this discourse this discourse is one of the classical discourses that every learns and learns over and over again it's a very very emotional powerful discourse it speaks about a relationship with hem love and all forem and not getting complacent with our service in hem when the said this discourse there was very very emotional and in different parts he cried bitterly um those that were there remember very very powerful it's a lot of people have written notes about that discourse never said it it was a very long discourse at that time and something which is really a very very important discourse and something that you can learn and learn over and over again okay so the discourse speaks for itself you only have my my opinions and introductions but just I wanted to give a short introduction and now we're going to get into theic discour so again the discourse is based on the verse this week's Torah portion where says which basically means that God is saying in the land of Israel no woman is going to miscarry and no uh woman is going to be Barren and God is going to fulfill fill the days uh that we have on Earth that's the verse now in in in the the um when it says know in the Ten Commandments you the second commandment so what does it say so there shouldn't be so there's two insights how to translate it one is commandment God is saying you should not have any other gods and the other one is a promise L is a commandment and it's a promise that you're not going to have those those are the two insights so says the same thing also when it says over here Lo it's a woman is not going to miscarry and a woman is not going to be Barren there's two two insights one is it's a commandment other words it's forbidden that someone a woman should should miscarry or be Barren that's the first component and the second component and it's a promise that's not going to happen it's not going to happen that a woman is going to miscarry or be bar and so and this verse of This Promise is coming to what it says beforehand what does it say beforehand you're gonna serve God your God and you're gonna serve God your God and the verse says that God's going to bless your bread and your water God's gonna take away any illness or disease from amongst us and so after it says that you're going to serve hem has is going to bless you with with bread water no no sickness Etc so it says afterwards L there's not going to be any miscarry there's not going to be anyone's going barring and generally speaking they're explain this is the this is the promise um this is the promise in three ideas in Hebrew it's called B which means Children Health sust food drink Etc with tremendous AB abundance in other words like the verse says God says I'm going to going to bless your bread and your water so that's a promise on on on on on on sustenance food is going to be tremendous AB abundance when the verse says that's the promise on life you're gonna be healthy and then it's not going to be no one's going to miscarry and no one's going to be Baron is referring to children they're going to have children and every of these three areas Children Health and sustenance he adds a ble blessing that's going to be a tremendous abundance and with with um and with with over the top blessings and that's why it says God's Gonna bless bless your bread and your water in other words which is referring to obviously sustenance with tremendous abundance and he adds God's going to bless it's going to be even a much greater a blessing and the same thing also when it comes to life where God says he's going to take away any any any illness so he adds and he says now he's gonna take what he ISS but he says I'm Gonna Give You tremendous good days and the same thing also when it comes to Children where it says you're not no one woman is goingon to Mis carry and no woman's gonna be Barren so it says bar he he um is not only they're not going to be Barren but they're not even going to miscarry and as we know that yak that Yakov that even though when he was old he he when when he when he God forbid thought that one of his children was missing what did he say mean says oh my gosh I lost a child and this where the Torah says no no l it's not going to happen you're gonna have a blessing for your children and that the blessing is going to be that they're not gonna not going to be gone and they're gonna have a long life and a long life in the way ween are supposed to have Jewish people are supposed to have a good beautiful life now these General ideas which means Children Health and sustance that's dep that's dependent on what it says beforehand you're going to serve God your God I know it's like a condition when you're going to serve God your God that's when you're G to get all the blessings so God's going to give it all but guess what we have to do our part what's our part we have to serve hem now Services one second even though we know it says in kazal kazal tell us that when it comes to children and when it comes to health and when it comes to sustenance it has nothing to do with with the how much how much you put in not it doesn't have to do with Hebrew it's called on your Merit but it's it's ma it's luck and we know that masle is a is is a level that that that effort can't reach there but nevertheless even though yes that is correct but it's also dependent on the Avo the work like it says you're gonna a powerful Med says that does hasem really really care um if we Slaughter an animal for example from the from the neck or from the back part and so on and so forth what's the ultimately doesn't care so why he give us the Commandments he gave us the Commandments for our refinement in other words so what do we see from here the whole purpose of the mitzah is to refine us but it's not God forbid the will of hm means it's lacking in learning to we're literally weakening the power of hem and so we see from here that that our work does have an effect so one hand we see oppos ining different purpose of the vessel is for something else and at the end through many many levels so you have the Creations that are created so therefore in the level of of a vessel over there yes it's important what we what we do and and matter of fact when we don't do our part it actually creates a negative energy in the vessels now so what what we learned so far that in the lower level it's important our the higher level not um first he said then he even said impacts or for example The Vessel compared to light he says even in the light even over there are doing our part learning to and doing MIT does have an impact and matter of fact when we don't do our our part so what happen s the not only is the vessel lacking but the light leaves the vessel now so even though technically know once there's no energy to exist and then and what happens on is you don't fulfill it its Mission now so that's so far what we learn Again The Vessel it's important for the vessel we learned that even is important for also gets impacted by by doing our our work and that's why even the level of K and the level like we learned before level the lower level of it's important our work why because since AR is the source for everything that's created and since it's the source for things that created so therefore we have to do our part that that that to receive its energy and therefore even the level of what's what's important is however when it comes to the higher level level of which is based the level of like we learned before and the master the Oneness and the source of of of of all the sources Which is higher than the source of the things that are created and that's why it says the source of the sources not the source of anything that was created but because why because and even though it's disconnected but it's not even the source of the thing that's created but it's it's a source of of the source and and when we say the source the source we don't mean the level of of attic which means it has some level now nevertheless the truth is this is not enough to explain what know what did we just learn we learned when it says you're going to serve so what we say how serving hasem need us we explain it's on the lower level but said this is not enough to explain when we say that you serve hem because this what it says serve it's refer that so we learned so far what does it mean we're serving hem only in the level of say because the higher level we can't reach why is it not enough because it's explaining that this verse of this actually a contradiction from the beginning of the verse to the end of the verse why because in the beginning it says you're going to serve God your God and God's Gonna bless he's gonna bless your bread and your water and and so it's saying an expression of like um passive it doesn't say specifically your water and then it says that he's gonna take away the off from you the disease strickling you which basically he's referring to specifically you so it's a contradiction one hand is giving the general idea of bread and water and then speaking about the health specifically to you so what does that mean says like this he brings based on the int what the ran gives an introduction um in his commentary on the Torah and he says something very powerful and he says like this that when Mo wrote the T he didn't write it so to speak atat himself but Mo wrote it almost like in a third party like for example the we're talking the first four books of um he wrote it like in in a third party in other words he's not talking about himself because then he should have said God spoke to me he doesn't say that and it's not like is speaking to or like's speaking to to me or to but speak it's it's third party um why is that it's not the level of of hasem it's not the M because it's a it's a third party as he's talking about speaks to he's talking spoke to not is speaking to him so to speak now what does it mean a third party that in Hebrew it's called is talking to it's referring to what part of hemos the essence of the infinite part of hem Which is higher than the level of why is that because even the powerful name of yut and yes it's what does yut that's it really stands up what is the third the third is the revelation of the essence of the infinite part of hem and that's the idea of the third party speaking which is referring to the essence of and that's why it says that you're gonna serve in other words that the the third party so to speak speaking um he's saying that when you serve your God then on the highest level then God's going toess bless your your bread and and your water and it's referring to that on the level of that's going to bless your bread and your water and not only that is it going to bless your bread and water which is referring to sustenance but also he gonna take away all your ailments all your diseases and and see from you and he's talking specifically from each and every one of is going to take away and know who's taking it away the the infinite part of hem that he hasem self is going to take take away the disease how is that going to come about that hasm is going to take everything away a disease and he's give everything weed we need it comes by gonna serve God in other words when we do our work so not besides the fact that has is going to bless our bread and he's going to bless a our water and and the blessing is going on on but not only that he's going to take away the disease that when a person does the work of hem then then the literally the essence of hem comes and takes away all disease and person becomes heals and so what do we see from here that the doing the work is also reaching the and actually has the power to reach so there was now Revolution a whole till this point I was saying was that there two levels we our void reaches doesn't reach higher here they saying no no no when we do ouro we can literally reach the essence of hem so the says one second how is it possible our work learning T doing MIT our finite work should reach the highest level and the fact is in we're going to do stuff we're g to reach hem you can say that even though that so to speak person does the a again what's the a is transforming not only is the going to bless your bread and your water which comes from the blessing of yut but even more that since you're accomplishing you're transforming yourself which is then you're going to reach a whole different level Hashem is going to take away your disease and how is he going to take it away from the essence of Hashem and that now based on this are explains why it says I'm gonna take away disease from you because sometimes it says that all the the the diseases and the ailments that I brought in ag I'm not going to put on you in other words that there there disease that that that that that it's possible to be and it's possible not to be but over here he says and he says over there no I'm not going to give you that disease you're not gonna have disease over here he's saying totally different that the disease exists but no one you know I'm GNA pull it out from you and since Hashem is going to pull it out from you and in a way of from the most powerful level of the essence of Hashem so Hashem has the power to take away well this as well as as well and this comes all through by doing as an introduction your work serving hem and which is coming from the from the thir speak third party which basically takes away um the the ultimate disease now so what do we see from here so far before we go for forward so we accomplish transforming the animal Soul so it didn't fulfill its will and therefore it did not create a Unity The Godly soul and the animal soul but when a person that when you that's when you serve God out of a but when you serve God out of love then what happens you create a transformation and a refinement in the animal soul and therefore it unifies The Godly Soul the animal Soul however when it when you do serve AEM out of awe you haven't really you haven't really affected anything because you didn't transform yourself and the animal all strong so when it comes to that the serving God out of a it's amazing yes you're doing what hasem wants but there wasn't a transformation that took place when you serve God out of love then the animal Soul gets trans formed and then the animal soul and The Godly Soul get get get get gets United and The Godly Soul feels it's doing its Mission and like like we see that many people that they're in all of hem naturally and literally with a small meditation they can awaken their o for hem and therefore they're not going to transgress of anything negative they're going to do positive MIT Etc and even though he's complete doesn't transgress does the posit positive but the animal Soul stays strong and the contrary it gets even Stronger by using it by feeding it Etc so in other words so you see that that that Bes besides the avoid of of the of basically serving H out of which is the beginning of serving hasem and then you that's plur that's the first level of serving plural then you have the serving a out of love and you need both like he explains at length and that's why he says B and plural which includes serving hasem out of awe and serving Hashem out of love now so now what we learn that when you do the you reach the most greatest places you transform your animal soul and you and you you serve Hashem out of love and that's that's the cause for all the greatest blessings um both of food and sustenance and get rid of any diseases so we're in a good space right we're serving a out of love and here there goes into deeper and this is where it got very emotional in the braining there was like this but you have to um be careful and you have to make a disclaimer in other words let's say a person reaches a level they're in all of hem not transgressing doing you have to and you love of hem so you transforming the animal Soul The Godly Souls connected and yes on a true level in other words not that you're thinking and you that you think you have it no no you have real love and all for Hashem you literally have you're you're in love for hem you know of hm but it's very possible that you're going to have the love for hem the off for hm you're going to stop and you're not going to continue growing in other words you can have don't have a womb woman doesn't have a room what does that mean you don't have a place a a receiving place to give birth to a child that's on a physical level there's no WB there what does it mean
