all right so welcome to tonight's tiny class everyone relax it's Tanya it's time to really really enjoy after I'm sure a hard week it's time just to connect into the mode of Tanya okay so just we are very very positive spin because it starts off on the on the rough side but the rough is only to find the gem in the chapter so the Opera with this this see I try to find the theme in this week in each chapter so the theme in this chapter is the idea that our son loves us how He loves us and because ocean loves us everything in our life is great that is the theme of chapter 20 to take it in soak it in feel it Hashem loves us right you get that if someone loves us if you love cuddle cradled by God something loves us and therefore everything I like is great yes guess what class is over right if you got that and you got it in right we're done but now we're gonna get into it and that is really the theme of tonight's chapter even though when you start reading the key sir that's not wasn't that person goes looks at his life and takes their assessment of his life and we know that we're living in a physical world and God is infinite we're finite so we don't have everything it's impossible per everything because we're finite so we'll never everything so there's things we have and the things we don't have and I know levels of our life physical spiritual mental emotional psychological financial any year of our life family friends community life is full of ups and downs that is definition of life like the heart like the heart goes like this you're in trouble the heart is up and down so life is has its ups and has its downs what happens when you on the upside of life life is great life is great you're flying high as you say in English you're flying my life is great and that's when life is wonderful what happens on the down part of life things aren't going the way you wanted to go he's thought that you go you would like it to go you were told it's gonna go etc etc it's on a down side of life now that doesn't mean everything in your life is a disaster how people talk like that but generally speaking is a certain area and maybe a bunch of areas in your life usually even it rains it pours right so when things are not going well so what happens like this you look around you go oh my gosh disaster again either total disaster partial disaster but things aren't working out the way you want won't want to work out so what do people do so the opéra says there is a certain thread amongst people that they run to rabbis and say rabbi straighten up my life anyone can relate moment focus on what on the paint you focus on the pain and what happens when you focus on the pain and it's pain it's real pain no one says count against real thing and it's yep pain you should have a person shouldn't be in pain but what happens is the optimist says usually interesting terminology that we become blind was it neither combined we become obsessed I'm focused on the pain and because we become obsessed and focus on the pain the only thing we want to is get rid of the pain and when you only want to get rid of the thing you'll do anything to get rid of the pain so some people unfortunately turn to alcohol and drugs and other addictions and some people look to rabbis to take care of the pain again coming from the perspective that why you see reaching out for help that we're saying is because you're focusing on the pain and it becomes a self-love and the only thing you want to do is get rid of the pain now that doesn't mean you shouldn't get rid of the pain and doesn't mean sure when she's lookin playing God for it now be saying you should look the pain but we're dealing with why do you run to a rabbi or for any other thing to assume you're playing coz you're just focusing on soothing the pain now if you're able to take a deep breath and it's not easy grant you it's not easy you're in pain you're struggling well and it could be something very very small it could be something big but to every person pain is relevant to the person people can handle more people have a handle less but they all have you able to take a moment within the pain hold tight and take a deep breath and have a paradigm shift that within the pain while you're in pain you could focus on the pain how it hurts and guess what you're gonna do strange crazy things and people have done very very crazy things which we're not gonna get into how far people have gone just focusing on the pain what are you gonna stop and say hold on a second who runs the world within the pain to do it who runs the world who runs the world Hashem exactly now now we're sitting in a tiny class objective where everyone had a nice dinner we're calm relaxed we met I think we all know a showman's the world now it doesn't change the fact who does really run the world sure so now we're sitting here calm relaxed focused you know some of the world in the moment of pain who runs the world then you feel like it you can feel like but who still runs the world then exactly so even in the pain nothing changed you have pain right now but we didn't get rid of God to operate to run the world we don't have a new God running the world our sin still runs the world so in the moment of pain and it's not easy because you're in pain right now you stopping and saying who runs the world and the answers are showing the world how certain one's the world my son runs the world the some created that also runs the world so the pain that I'm having right now the struggle I'm having right now is God involves an uninvolved gods and oh yeah God's involved so why are you doing this to me well lesson you're jumping without any dents yet I wanted to walk the further just ask the question you want to take this slowly this is a deep this is not a simple thing you're in pain you were able to okay let me just double check who's created the world God who runs the world God so I believe you stole created it runs look at this oh my gosh alright any boy ten bags I recall her you wanted every size and today look at this right the guys okay I covet a car I don't what you guys like all right you guys be happy but what happens if God all of a sudden gives you like a constructive criticism speech you guys can't handle it one second if it's coming to the same guy that loves you and it's your perspective god really want to want you have the same attitude so whose flaws that God's are ours if we really believe God loves us just like he takes care of all our needs our basic needs all our luxuries and he wants to make sure we're happy sometimes you have to tell us hey don't go over there cuz you're gonna hurt yourself do we want to hear don't go there no no we want to hear go there but sometimes guys like don't go there not good for you so if we look at God that God is like this mean God guess what he doesn't like us but if we really believe that God loves us and he really does love us and he cares about us so whatever he's doing say God thank you so much the same smile he got from those fancy bags we got to get the same smile from hey don't do that or that's inappropriate why cause it's all coming from the same God it's focused on the fact that it's coming from the same God that loves you then there really should not be any difference and there really is no difference now if when God does something you don't like you go run to somebody and tell them hey look what God did to me you going to the round but hey you're regarded to me hello is that appropriate so what's the Alpha you say so why are you running because you're focusing on the fact that he told you know the fact that you're experiencing pain right now you forgot the focus on who it's coming from in other words if you're focusing on the pain you're gonna go wrong to somebody hey go talk to God look what he's doing to me and that would be a pride perspective but if you're focusing that it's coming from God through life but god forbid I make a disclaimer you should go ahead and give this lecture to somebody's going through a struggle right now someone's going through stories if you'll be struggling for god loves you it's all good no don't do that because they're not ready to hear it it has to be something which which the person is ready and able to accept and is able to hear so there's something Goffman you don't share to anyone else and even yourself obviously it's a process it takes a while to become strong with it it's like for example it's you want to go swim the national marathon that's it you're gonna go start running here right now people died doing it too early you got to be trained for it so this is part of the training to train yourself to realize how God loves us and once you develop that loving relationship with God and you realize that God really loves you then doctor when you do with a struggle and sometimes a big struggle hopefully you can have you can handle it like pro no guarantee you know for the biggest people of film and as many many stories and people of your believes believe believe and then when they went through their personal struggle oh my gosh they couldn't make couldn't handle it so this is we're talking about very high level couple of very high level mysticism that deals with real issues and doesn't mean for one class like this boom you're giving your your your transformed person this is stuff that it requires work but I will tell you that if you do the work you'll be able to handle life's challenges and life struggles that's much much easier and again how long does it take how much time it all depends on the person depends on your soul pence I don't you pray haven't you connect to God but it's something which I can guarantee if you work on it you study and you go through a chain you you know you study this you know study some other sources that deal with this type of stuff over time you develop a healthy perspective with goddess but God wants out of life and you have real tools how to deal with life but so that's in general I mean and that's why you don't blanket answer for these type of things every situation sniffing and only one can answer is a personal at their own struggle you know as no one can answer for someone else's struggle because that's their struggle and I'm fortunate some people you know have struggles and they never saw just being able to get out of it that's why it's best to prepare yourself so when struggles to hit you they'll have the strength and the ability to overcome them with God's help so again this is not you're not becoming a black belt and the other but life struggles from one class right here but it's definitely a start in the right direction and again there's many many other resources but it's good stuff this is really really good stuff really really good stuff okay so now and again remember this is everyone is that everyone is on their own journey but these are tools that will work over time and every person is different snobbery goes now a step further okay so we got so basically we're perspective is perspective is this infinite God's loves me and loves me so much and just like he gives me all my great things that I see is great all the things that I perceive as challenging it's also great coming from this great God that loves me now once I have that perspective then life is great it's always good because God loves me so everything's great so the optimist says but let's let's be practical Ike you said I'm going through a challenge right now how do I look in a positive way to the challenge employment and everyone thinking you're online just different challenging going through like what's the positive message them to me it's a challenge to me it's painful to me to struggle what am I supposed to get to it so the optimist is like this I'll give you an analogy you buy yourself a nice car when your spouse behind you nice car nice expensive car and you driving down the road and all of a sudden there's a red light that starts blinking dollar is about 30 that's not give us analogy I'm giving you an algae to explain his point he doesn't talk about a red light blinking in the crime scene that cars in those days okay I have horse and buggies maybe this right okay so light starts blinking you go oh my gosh my spouse's want me it's expensive car what's this crazy flashing light so you put a piece of tape when you cover over it alright and you keep on driving and guess what light went away voila my he's my the spouse is amazing brought me a car no blinking lights normal flashing lights you know what happened someone who the car totally breaks down now you bring it to the mechanic goes oh my gosh you blew your whole engine what do you mean how come no one warned me pulls off the tape hello it was a fun oh she's crazy flat let lights flashing on me now what would be the first having flash you to stop into the gas station a couple of bucks he would have fixed it yuck that went on but by ignoring the flashing lights you've ruined your whole engine instead of trucking cost to $300 the fixes cost me thousands of dollars a fix whose fault is it the answer is very simply you had flashing lights you hadn't worn again do with it the optimist says very very simple when you start having challenges and struggles again I'm not saying you should say just anyone else there's something for yourself remember don't save us anywhere else because it would be rude and inappropriate but to yourself in the anxiety challenge a doctor that was giving you tools toolbox for life say to yourself there's probably some things I need to fix an oil change a spiritual oil change I might need to change my tires maybe I don't know there's something wrong let me go sit down with them a car mechanic a spiritual mechanic say you know what I'm getting this message from God I need a tune-up maybe I need to study some what Torah they need to pray maybe I need to get more charity maybe need to do two moments though do we have to have more love for other people I don't know help me this obviously something God is telling me there's something in your you need to fix some things so guess what happens so you go in and maybe this way you go to your rabbi right not to solve your life push a button but say hey let's do some soul-searching what Erie's your IQ can come better at and if you look at it that way so what happens in your head when you're having you're experiencing pain and suffering you can again the last thing you want to focus on the pain because that was sucked into getting in a chapter if you focus just on the pain you're gonna run around doing crazy things go back to the drawing board okay God runs the world God loves me hmm he's telling me these lights you only send these lines cuz he loves me he wants me to address the issue while it's small before it becomes big yeah he wants me to address the issue was small before it becomes big and therefore when the light goes on what am I saying Thank You Hashem for creating these warning lights they don't have to have a total nervous breakdown simple example people go through they get stressed about certain things right so what's the normal thing take a break take a small vacation and take a day off right well it's not I'm not taking a vacation right I'm not taking a break and you just keep on going what's gonna happen we all know yeah you got a nervous breakdown you get burnt out with so on and so forth but when you see you start you know you see things are like you know overboil stop God made us that way so God made us physically that way he made us that way spiritually as well and that's the way God sent us messages now that makes sense so the Opera takes the step for a man do you like it makes sense like I mean you may make sense to you that's great it works for you this is not something you can impose upon in anybody but if anyone took some soldiers and they realize you know this make sense agreed now what happens when you take this approach let's look at it the big picture so what happens like this he goes through some pain and suffering all right so first of all the perspective is you stay strong God loves the world God clear the world God loves me everything from God is good the good stuff I know is good this stuff is good let me think now I have to be creative what is good over here ah you know what's good over here very very simple God sending a message and I say thank you God for sending me the messages for all these great things thank you so guess what see you got the message you address the issue and boom you fix it and life is good now you're gonna say well it's no problems obviously look the lady said well there are shoes listen I need you go to the mechanic all the sudden it's this one and they tell you said that's also wrong so fix it all up and guess what you have a nice new car running again or a renewed car the optimist says and he takes a step further so right now God was sending you on messages what kind of messages now I'll show you the most comfortable messages right but when you take in the pawns in a positive aim all of a sudden God doesn't have to say anymore these like painful messages but God still wants have a relationship with you he's still gonna send you messages he doesn't send you any negative messages because you've got it so he's gonna start sending you good things war ferragamo bags and word I don't know you guys like in Gucci bags and cars and chocolates ice cream whatever whatever you guys want God will sentence you all in a revealing why why because that's all you need it's great stuff now as you can tell this this is the first half of the chapter very very easy this is very simple the source why someone's judgmental and arrogant and gossips is because there's a certain belief which is a false belief that we believe on me you're you and therefore I'm better than you and you did this wrong the source is because this me and you and what is better and one it's worse than someone and so forth but if you believe and this is the truth that we're all one you ever see one finger say to the other finger I'm better than you hello its fingers you might say about somebody else but they don't say it about yourself you don't look in the mirror and say this half of the face is better than the other half of the face hello it's one face it's one you were being so if you believe not only believe but you felt that we're all one where's the judgment the source of the judgment and the source of the arrogance and the source of all the negative behaviors is me you you me once it's all wanders but there's there's no judgment separation separation there's no judgments once world one life is great life is great because what happens god something you don't believe you one you know what happens people stop gossiping and the author
