welcome to this week's torah lesson this week's torah portion is pashastitsava the question of the week is what is our spiritual work so in this week's torah portion we learn about the different garments of the priests and the high priest and we learned about the breastplate of the high priest war and from there he would communicate to god and give us direction and answers from hashem now what's very intriguing is the zohar says that the name for the breastplate has the same letters as a snake that's on one hand on the other hand it's brought down the name of a great jewish leader a frying bottle isis that says that the name breastplate numerically is 358 which is the same numerical value as mashiach the messiah so here you have the which was the part that communicated with god on one hand it's the same letters as a snake on the other hand the numerical values like mashiach so there ever explains what does that mean that means on everything in this world there's two ways to look at it and there's what you see and then there's the deeper dimension so what you see is the same letters as a snake but if you count up deeper and you count the numbers you have so the same thing the river says as follows in our life we have a body and we have our soul our body as we know spiritually is connected to the snake as it's called mishra so our physical body which is the revealed part of us is connected to the snake arena our soul is connected to mashiach now unfortunately in gallus in exile what is the revealed part what do you see you see the body what's concealed is concealed what's our spiritual working goals are working goddesses to reveal the part that's concealed are we reveal our nashoma are the shamanists connect to mashiach to bring out from within the body on the shoulder not god forbid our body should be the one shining so the answer to the question what is our avoidance what's our spiritual working goals our spiritual work is to reveal on the summer the part that's concealed within us within our body which is the same connection with the idea of mashiach and as we reveal on the summer we'll all merit to the ultimate revelation of mashiach in our days thanks so much for joining us for our weekly torah lesson this week's torah lesson is dedicated to the memory of baruch by yosef and rocco about sleep all may their souls be elevated by torah with studying for in their memory thanks so much for joining us for more information please see our website swf.org have a great and blessed week
