[Applause] it's time for rabbi mankiewicz weekly Torah lesson a place where life's most difficult questions are answered here with his spiritual perspective and insight rabbi megawatts welcome to this week's Torah lesson this week's Torah portion is practice Noah the question of the week is is life a mirror so in this week's Torah portion Pasha's Noah actually the story of the flood when Noah and his family were saved with this beautiful big ark Noah and his family come out Noah plants and then yard he gets some fresh wine he drinks and he gets drunk and he becomes little exposed his children were outside one of his children come goes in sees his father naked walks down to the two brothers and says shame the office our dad's exposed so the two of them walk in they take a covering they walk in backwards they cover their dad and it says they did not see their fathers nakedness so the question is what do you didn't see so why be put why did they cover him and have they seen where to cover him and there only brings that a fascinating idea that shame and the office they did not see the nakedness of the father mean to say is even if the father was technically naked they didn't see the part that he was naked and it was a problem with him but they saw there was an opportunity to help someone in need and that's the whole focus they had it has come what did he see he saw that his father had a problem he saw something negative he didn't do anything shaming the office may be technically sort of say anything but that's not what they saw they saw an opportunity to help so the question is why they've come see the father was naked versus shame the office saw the opportunity to help because the truth is that what we look for in life and they review life that's what we're gonna see if we view problems and challenges and difficulties that's what we're gonna see in whatever is taking place or if we have an attitude we're here to help and find solutions and be positive that's what we're going to see and therefore calm that's that had a negative attitude towards life saw and found the negativity and that's when spoke about shaming you first spoke about opportunities to help and that's that's was their reality so the answer the question is life former absolutely whatever you see in the world that's your view of the world this week's Torah lesson is a memory of Barack and I relayed and Ben Yosef may their souls be elevated to the Torah that we're studying in their memory thanks so much for joining us for our weekly Torah lesson for more information on Habad please see our website [Music]
