Welcome to our weekly Torah lesson. This week's Torah portion is part of the question of the week is what is our greatest power? So in this week's Torah portion, we learn about the fight that Yakov has with the angel and it says and he was fighting with him. Kazal tell us that when he fought with him so the earth went up to the to Hashem's throne. So the question is wow how can earth go up so high. So it's brought down and explains that what does that mean? He was fighting with him. It's referring to the fight the struggle to do chuva to return to hashem. And when a person returns, it's the greatest energy that's there greater than even the the work of a righteous person. Why? Because a righteous person does everything great, but he goes one step at a time. But Chuva has the power of it's real power and you can go as we know Chuva is one second, one moment you can reach the highest levels. And as we know matter of fact that's what's Mashiach comes because it says Mashiach comes Mashiach can inspire even sadikim to do chuva. So the answer the question what is our real power? Our real power is chuva to return to hashem. By returning to hashem we can experience and create most greatest energy for ourselves and for the world and ultimately the coming of msiach.
