Welcome to this week's Torah lesson. This week's Torah portion is paras. The question of the week is why is God concealed? So in this week's Torah portion, we learn about loving gets up in the morning and he kisses his sons and his daughters. Then says leaves to his he goes on his journey. So what is this referring to? So Reba explains everything that happens in this world because it's taking place on a spiritual level. So Reb explains the verse on a spiritual level that what's taking place is every single morning love on we have an experience that God gives us a white cloud and God creates a beautiful holy experience for every one of us in a way of we kiss it. We're totally connect the deepest level and that happens every morning in prayer. But then what happens after prayer that goes away and then the love the the beautiful experience leaves and then the we have to continue on our work of learning doing mitzvot doing our work in the world etc. But the question is if God reveals himself every morning why does he leave so the reb explains because there's a concept called if hashem would give us everything we would be our effort. So therefore, God takes away that powerful energy so we can do our work. So the answer to the question, [snorts] why don't we see and experience godliness always? Because if God was revealed, we wouldn't have we wouldn't put in our own effort. And God wants us to put in our effort. But remember, in the morning, God's shining. When you get up in the morning, it's beautiful. Pray, connect to the light, and then take that light throughout the day, and you will have an amazing, beautiful day.
