welcome to this week's Torah lesson this week's Torah portion is the question of the week is can we experience real Freedom today so in this week's Torah portion the Torah says Yakov calls his children and he says he gather come together I'm going to tell you what's going to happen in the future he doesn't tell them so the commentaries in the tal and The Zo Rashi also brings it down and says that Yakov want to tell them when we're going to have the ultimate Redemption but the left him and he wasn't able to tell them why wasn't he able to tell them re explains and he say something very powerful if yakob wanted to reveal it to them he knew it and he was ready to share it with them the reason why he wasn't able to share it with them because as the as the expression is he wasn't able to bring it down to this level cuz the children weren't ready if that's the case you ask a simple question why does the Torah tell us that something that he couldn't do and the Reb explains the reason why the Torah tells it to us is even though the children weren't able to receive it but yov by wanting to say it he created that awareness in a way it's called in cabala Mak it's there out there the ability to know and hear when the Redemption is going to be is out there how do we know that because we know when it comes to different words that describe sharing things the Torah uses three different terms d d means to speak with your mouth and we know someone can speak from the mouth one thing and the Heart thinks something else am is when you talk from your heart so it's already more emotional more personal but then there's like from the expression of and that is when you're talking from your essence and Yak was ready to reveal his Essence but unfortunately the children aren't ready but RAB says why is the Torah telling to us because it's out there and every one of us has the power to connect to that mock message of the Redemption and we every one of us can experience true freedom freedom from the Gentile Nations out there that want to destroy us and hurt us and all the anti-Semitism and also freedom from our own inner y our own inner evil Incarnation the answer the question could we experience Freedom now absolutely we have to connect to the Mak the power powerful energy that Yakov gave us the ability to experience freedom and we can experience Freedom today thanks so much for joining us for our weekly Torah lesson this week's Torah lesson is dedicated to memory of May their souls be elevated by tah we're studying in their memory for more information please see our website kw.org I'd like to also dedicate this week's Torah lesson to my son Paris May who's engaged and God willing he should have a great life together with his bride sha for many many years MTO to my son our whole family and God willing will continue to learn Torah together
