Welcome to this week's Torah lesson. This week's Torah portion is the question of the week is how can we bring out our inner powers? So in this week's Torah portion, the Torah says go to you. What's the double expression of? So the Reb explains something very powerful and he says as follows. There's two types of going. There's and which means is elevating which means you're elevating the world. How do you elevate the world? When you get up the in the morning, the first thing is before you do anything, you pray. You connect to Hashem through prayer which means you're elevating the world. You're not getting stuck in the world. After you finish praying, then you go ahead and you learn some Torah and you bring down the light of God into the world. When you go ahead and and do both elevate the world and bring light into the world, then the verse says God's going to take you to the land that I'll show you. What does it mean? I'll show you. And the Reb explains, he says, "I'll show you your real you. I'll show you that you have the power to overcome any struggle in the world. But first, you got to do your part." So, they answer the question, how do we find and reveal our inner powers? following a two-step method. Getting up the first thing in the morning, first thing is praying, elevating the world, and then learning some Torah, bringing light into the world, and God will show you your real powers that you have within you.
